The previous posts left by Chris H., Doug G., and Mary G. are all 100% accurate. Everything they said. To say this place is terrible would be an understatement. What a waste of money. The place looks nice but that's it, maybe if they spent less money on decorations and more into the quality of the food the place wouldn't be half empty at the busiest time of the day.
This is actually my first time posting on yelp I don't have an active account because I'm not really a foodie like that, I usually cook my own food and if ever I am eating somewhere if there's a problem with the service or whatever as long as the food was half way decent then I'm like what the hey life goes on and I forget about it but this place was so bad I actually feel guilty if I don't say something about it, it's literally that bad.
Just like the previous posters said the food tasted terrible, everything was luke warm or cold, I got the fried shrimp when they just brought out a fresh tray and they were still hard as a rock and cold. The sign outside says "Chinese/Japanese Grill" but there isn't a thing Chinese or Japanese about it, the people cooking the food are Mexican. If I wanted Mexican food I'd go to a Mexican restaurant.
There's nothing worse than going to an Asian restaurant and the people cooking the food aren't even Asian, Lol. I'm Hispanic myself, from Peru, and when I go to a Peruvian or Cuban restaurant the people cooking the food better be Cuban or Peruvian or I'll never eat there again, what's the point? You wouldn't go to a Thai restaurant for Jamaican food would you? I can't stand when I go to a Peruvian restaurant and the person cooking the food is Guatemalan or something and literally f**ks up every dish misrepresenting the true authenticity of the food.
I tried a little bit of everythiing and I can honestly say the only thing that tasted good there was the Spanish style fried plantains and that's because well, Spanish people cooked them Lol, and anyway, how can you mess that up? Tony Hawk could probably cook some decent plantains if he wanted to Lol. I ended up getting full on apples and soy beans because that's the only thing there that was edible.
Do yourself a favor and drive right by this place, and if you even think of going inside just go to Chipotle instead because that's what your going to get when you eat here, with my apologies to Chipotle because at least Chipotle actually taste good, not as good as authentic Mexican but not bad for a franchise. I wasted $25 for apples and soybeans.... Zzz read more
