My furnace is a high-efficiency condensing furnace, yet they never installed the condensate drain line-- a huge mistake -- it's not only dangerous, but totally embarrassing to overlook such an important part of the installation! I had Mountain Valley Plumbing & Heating come out for a furnace tune up, and their technician, Scott realized the issue. The motor in my furnace was underwater due to the lack of the drain and my furnace wouldn't turn on. I called Steele Bros Heating to fix the problem, and they placed the blame on me, saying I should have had the furnace inspected and that because I didn't have them out once a year for maintenance, they would also void my warranty. I immediately called the City of Boulder inspectors to figure out what to do. They were appalled that a HVAC company wouldn't take responsibility for such a gross error and said it was definitely a civil case. In the meantime, Mountain Valley Plumbing & Heating offered to come out and do the labor to install the condensate drain and fix the motor free of charge! Vice President, JD stated he felt that was the right thing to do and wanted to help out. Scott came back out, installed the drain line and fixed the motor. I will always work with Mt Valley moving forward!

The busted pipe was due to poor winterization - the line was not completely blown out. Not to mention the plumber left one of our door unlocked when they came to do the work prior to our arrival. Where Grand Electrical Services excels is in home security and home automation implementation and programming. We had GES upgrade our system, implementing cameras, remote home management, lighting and HVAC controls. This dramatically increased functionality of our system, and had a material impact on our monthly heating and utility bills. GES is at the top of system implementers in these systems in Grand County, and there is no need to go anywhere else in Colorado to get exceptional expertise in these systems. I have also appreciated the quick response and frequent adjustments David makes to my programming, when requested, which prompted me to write this review. One of the best tradesmen I have ever met. This cost of the service was a surprise to me (I was never told about this). The connectivity to the devices through this paid service doesn't work - I haven't had remote access to thermostats for five straight months and overall, I haven't had access about 30% of the time during the three years of service. While, Michael's Audio hasn't made me pay for the all of the follow-up service calls (approximately eight of them), they have been very slow to resolve the issue (I've placed dozens of calls and sent countless emails asking them to resolve the issue). They sent over their 'expert' almost a month ago and we agreed to replace the system with one that doesn't require a paid subscription to connect......I haven't heard from them since. I guess my next step will be to hire a different company and have them install a working system. Then ask Michael's Audio for a refund, which, given their slow response, I might need to pursue in small claims court.

We decided to move forward to bring T.V.'s, sound, ring systems, and cameras up to snuf with their company. It was a complicated job and we were not around for much of the work. The house was left tidy and if we ever had any concerns Michael and Mark strived to make it right. Recently, a couple months after installation, we were puzzled that some of the bedroom outlets and bath switches were not working, I was concerned that something had "happened" during the alarm install, I called and Michael came out within an hour and went thru the entire bedroom electric system, couldn't find anything wrong... then he did not stop, he called an electrician who came out the same day and he carefully went thru once again , including the breakers, tracing things in the wall until finally,,,,, he figured it out!!!! It had nothing to do with Michael's install ! The GFCI in the bathroom had tripped and all of these were connected. MYSTERY SOLVED!! SAVED US much heartache! Thanks a million, Michael!!!

The spa was marketed and sold with remote monitoring and control functionality as an integrated feature. Since installation, I have experienced repeated connectivity instability, inaccurate status reporting, and inconsistent operation despite replacement of hardware components and multiple troubleshooting efforts. The difficult part is obtaining a clear path toward diagnosis and resolution. Recommendations discussed by their technicians or support representatives are not resolving the issue. Further, personal investment of thousands of dollars and effort have been performed as they recommended without fixing the issue. I also submitted a complaint through the Better Business Bureau process. Arbitration options were granted but the deal declined to engage. Consumers purchasing premium products reasonably expect responsive support, clear communication, and a consistent effort toward resolving ongoing technical issues. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. For anyone considering similar products from the manufactuer(s) and this specific dealer, I would encourage researching: * Long-term support responsiveness * Warranty service expectations * Dealer service policies * Reliability of connected/app-based control systems * How integrated technology issues are handled between dealers and manufacturers I am sharing this solely as my personal experience in hopes it helps other consumers make informed decisions.
