After getting to the drywall stage 16 months later and with winter coming, the project seemed to go dormant, and we expressed concern. He subsequently abandoned the project. We found David Rogers to be unprofessional, unethical, and lacking in accountability. We strongly advise potential clients to seek other options when looking for a builder.

He was overpriced and takes 25% for a management fee but does little to no management. He told us work was complete that was not, he hired contractors from the front range and then charged an outrageous price for their work while having his inhouse painter and "fixed" charges for tasks and items that were not used such as a dumpster that never existed and furniture protection when I spent hours cleaning up after his painter who painted over picture hooks, brackets and door plates. The lights switches are off when positioned on and on when in the traditional off position. David said he would come back and fix the electric issues but never has. And did I mention that David only accepts wired payment and was hacked and threatend to put a lien if we did not send the wire payment. Working with Basecamp Builders was the most terrible experience I have ever had working with a contractor!

He was able to take an existing furnace and utility room, redesign it, and give us quite a bit of extra basement space. That was a real unexpected bonus for us as we hadn't considered this possibility at all. There were a number of other difficulties with the existing space that Gary was able to work through in short order. Also, the workmanship was excellent all the way around.
