Absolute Trash Margherita Pizza, don't let the picture fool you.
    Amar K.

Absolutely the worst margherita pizza I've ever had. Picture was deceiving pizza had a thick crust. Sauce seemed came out if can. Complete garbage. Asked manager to cancel he said it's your fault look at the menu picture and charged us anyway. Tried "Da Zero" pizza down the street now that was a true Margherita pizza. Don't waste your money here. The manager is rude, unprofessional and his pride will burn his business to the ground one day. Learn some manners and to treat people with respect and take constructive feedback.

I'm sure this would be a great spot, but I stood at the window waiting for someone to scoop me gelato for a good 5 minutes before giving up. A man who worked at the restaurant kept making eye contact with me, and I repeatedly tried to get his attention, but he would keep walking away. I'm not sure whether he was intentionally ignoring me, but it certainly seemed like that. That being said, the gelato did look great. It's always a good sign when the gelato looks fluffy and not too firm. Too bad the service didn't appear to be very attentive. Maybe the experience at the sit-down restaurant would be better.

Foods is simple, delicious. Servings in a warm and welcome environment. The best is they have the fresh baked breads fulfill your table before the orders are coming.

    Nice interior design

We stopped by the Duomo location for late lunch and we were sat immediately. The pizza and pasta were very good. The cheese and sauce on pizza were delicious. The pasta sauce was very flavorful. Interior design is cute and there is a lot of seating. I think they are mainly known for their pastries/desserts. Close to all the shopping as well.

Food is good. Service is not so good. Then they also charge you for placemats 3.50 euros each.

So good!! Clean, bright corner shop with an outdoor patio you can sit and enjoy your treat (if you…read morecan find a spot). Pay up front at the register then take your receipt to the counter where they will fulfill your gelato dreams. ;P Prices were good too (considering we paid a Euro more for a smaller "piccolo" cup on the Main Street around the corner) especially given the higher quality treat at this place. Our two scoop piccolo cups and cones cost us 4 Euros each and they are generous with the scoops. I got their specialty pistachio and coffee flavors and oh wow!!! My son got the lemon and watermelon and those were both really tasty too. Husband chose the Dubai chocolate and cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed those. We can't wait to come back again tomorrow and the next day!!

Vanilla Gelati Italiani is near the Duomo in Milan -- very convenient if you're wandering around…read morethe cathedral and need a cold reward. They make their gelato with quality ingredients and classic Italian technique, and they've got all the flavors you want, from pistachio and hazelnut to refreshing fruit and even vegan options. The shop itself is simple, with a few spots to sit outside if you snag (but outs table service) for easy people-watching in the heart of the city. It's great on a hot day after exploring the Duomo area. I'd recommend it as a quick sweet stop, great flavors, a friendly vibe, and to take a breather to cool off with something delicious.
