    3 Stagioni & Amami pizza
    Sarah D.

Service was great and pizza was tasty! We had the Amami (prosciutto, ricotta and truffle) and 3 stagioni (olives, mushrooms, ham on tomato sauce). I liked the 3 stagioni better as I prefer pizza with tomato sauce but the Amami pzza was good too. It's a thin crust pizza in a very large form, I couldn't finish mine. We came around 18 and we were the only ones there which was quite nice. I believe that Italians eat dinner a bit later :) Would definitely recommend if you are after a thin crust pizza. A plus is the music they're playing, we heard everything from Michael Jackson to Beyonce to Kelly Clarkson.

Nice enough place in quiet area. 20 minute walk from downtown Milan Hilton. Super busy and friendly staff. Manager speaks very good English. I got red wine to start and switch to local beer. Got a margarita pie. Was very good. Here with clients. Everyone got a pie to start. The pasta is very fresh. Very good prices. Not too touristy either.

We had a delicious pasta dinner in a great setting with terrific service at Amami! Our waiter was Tommy. We highly recommend this restaurant and as a matter of fact, we returned today for a delicious pizza for lunch!

What a delightful find in a quaint neighborhood near our hotel! The restaurant was already filled with locals so the atmosphere was authentic Italian. Their pizza is oblong-shaped and has a very thin crust. I've had thin crust pizza before but never this thin before. I'm not even sure how they are able to make it so thin without burning the crust. Though other items were available on the menu, the majority of their customers ordered individual pizzas which turned out to be a huge portion, despite the thin crust. We ordered the traditional Margherita pizza and the Amami pizza, a white pizza served with ricotta, prosciutto and topped with black truffles. It was a delicious combination of flavors, especially if you love truffles. 2 of us shared the Amami pizza so it conveniently came out in half portions for each of us. If you love thin crust pizza, definitely give this place a try. It was a great find thanks to all the other previous Yelp reviewers!

He's been in business for 44 years so obviously he knows but still charged us in USD which is kinda shady IMO. We decided to dine here due to all the reviews and photos posted. When we approached the restaurant, the owner immediately said "Ni Hao" which I thought was kinda racist. What if I wasn't Chinese? Mink felt offended but we committed to dining there so we did. He asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. Since it was chilly for Mink, we opted to dine inside where it was 90% full due to a Chinese tour group. They all had the same dish so we figured preset menu for them. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but since they all ate the Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta, I decided to order that as it was one of the dishes I was considering. Mink ordered their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare. I'm not sure why but the owner exclusively took care of us. He also made it a point to bring a photo over of Jay Chow saying he's dined there 4-5 times in the last few years. Maybe that's why the Chinese tour group eats there? He was arrogant enough to brag about how much money he's made because of Jay Chow. There were lots of celebrities that dined there from what gathered looking at his wall of fame. I bet he didn't charge any of them in USD *smh* The Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta was really good and probably the best we had in Milan. They must be able to make this dish with their eyes closed at this point with the daily Chinese tour groups dining there. Their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare was decent but didn't have as much seafood in the dish as other restaurants and the flavor was about average. The bread and EVOO offered was legit though! I loved it and I normally hardly ever eat the complimentary bread. Food is good overall and customer service felt extra. If we didn't get charged USD, wasn't getting bragged to about how much money he made off Jay Chow and wasn't greeted with a "Ni Hao" then the place is 4 stars. Since all that did happened, 2.5 stars.

Reservations are highly recommended. It's within walking distance of the Duomo di Milano. Just as much as the Duomo is a must visit in Milan, so is this quaint restaurant. When you arrive, you will need to knock at the door. It's a tiny place with only seating for 20 in the entire place. Chef Maurizio sat at our table and shared pictures on his phone of all of the dishes. He made a few recommendations and they were much appreciated. The dishes are served family style - to be shared. Everything he served was amazing. I would not have changed a thing. The restaurant was founded by his father in 1952. And, he is carrying on an amazing tradition. His father would be proud.
