Edit 4/29/16: The specials here are pretty good and the deserts are as well. Breakfasts have been pretty good lately but sometimes don't meet expectations (like undercooked homefries). I am unsure why this place seems to be a secret among locals. except that if everyone knew how amazing this place is u would never get a seat. Blood orange mimosas with sorbet?! What a delightful surprise! We stopped in Adams on our trip South through NY. We had great service and a yummy lunch from Gram's. You'll read in other reviews the diner is under new ownership and they're doing a great job! We had the Reuben, tuna melt, and Haddock sandwich. Everyone was thrilled with their selections. The only thing better than lunch at Gram's? The desserts! We loved the chocolate cream pie and the even more delicious peanut butter and Snickers ice cream chocolate chip cookie pie! This place is awesome. They also do online ordering for pickup, which has been great during Covid. Recommend the bacon Cheeseburger poutine. Make sure to ask for cutlery and condiments, they do not include it without asking. read more

Grams Diner is a quaint country diner with a warm atmosphere. My server Monica was very pleasant and got my order perfect. Andrew one of the owners even greeted me and got me my drink. The Sunday Brunch specials were inventive with Coconut Cream Pie stuffed Waffles and Buffalo Blue Chicken Omelet. I had the omelet which was great. What find in downtown Adams. My friends and I met for dinner at Grams. We had a great server and had typical diner fare. My burger was cooked to order and was great. They serve chips alongside the burger or you can order fries for an extra $. This is a local hangout and was very busy at dinner time. read more

I've never gone here and had a bad meal. Ever. It's usually busy everytime we go and the two ladies that are serving are always smiling and always moving ad fast as they can so ad a fellow server I respect their hustle. Took forever to be served. I think just locals get the good service. Took forever to get the check as well. Had to go up to counter to get check. They weren't very busy, they vacuumed the floor like 3-4 different times while we waited on check. Food was good but I didn't like the bbq beef. Was not what I expected at all. The food is good but the wait time and customer service is atrocious. We've visited twice in the past few months and have had bad experiences both times. This morning our party of 5 sat up front waiting to be seated for 20 minutes, but the staff never even acknowledged our existence. The most frustrating part was they had two open tables the whole time. I would avoid Gram's unless you have all morning to waste on breakfast. read more

My family and I went to Gram's for Mother's Day. The entire restaurant was full and we hadn't made a reservation which was dumb on our part. The owner got us a table right away! They were featuring some specials and drinks which my husband and I ordered. I had the lobster eggs Benedict and a raspberry lime mimosa. Both were terrific and something you wouldn't expect from such a small local diner. They really did it right for the moms. We will be back again and again! read more
