This is a very clean, unassuming shop that clearly is focused on their customer and their craft. Everything on the menu sounded appealing and I was happy to have some locals around to share their favorites and narrow it down for me. I loved every soup of the day that I had, loved every sandwich/wrap that I tried, and I found myself wanting to try something new in town but being unable to. I had to come back day after day. We ordered 1/2 pans of fruit salad (great premium fruits like black raspberries), potato salad, and Greek pasta salad. We also ordered veggie, cheeseburger, steak, and chicken bacon wraps. I personally ate the cheeseburger wrap which was full of flavor. The steak wrap was also excellent with pepper inside. The pasta and potato salad were also excellent. The price is a steal. The 4X Cheddar (the sharpest version they make) goes under the name "Adams Reserve" when sold elsewhere. I've seen little chunks of it for sale in gourmet stores in Boston and NYC for more money than what at Freeway gets you a big brick of no-nonsense, wrapped-in-plastic-wrap, tangy, crumbly deliciousness. Milder versions (3X, 2X, 1X, medium, mild) available too. If you like good cheese, fresh curds, and/or local products, this spot is a great, easy stop off the highway.
