I'm so glad we made Belle & Union our final stop in San Antonio! My boyfriend and I were looking…read morefor stationery stores when we came across this beautiful shop, and we're so happy we did. The shop manager, Lori, made our visit unforgettable. She was incredibly kind and took the time to show us the fountain pens as well as introduced us to all the wonderful products the shop offers. You can really tell how much she cares about the customers. If you're a stationery lover or even just curious about fountain pens/journals or the paper goods they have to offer, this is absolutely the place to visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in San Antonio. Thank you Belle & Union and thank you Lori for such a wonderful experience!

Because I wanted it NOT to appear as though a toddler had wrapped it, I needed help. Desperately! Hence, I found this quaint, adorable boutique with the assistance of Google. I gave them a call and spoke with Michelle, who was just so gracious. When I described the size and shape of the gift, she assured me that they could accommodate me, even though the weeding was a mere 3 days away. When I arrived at the shop, Michelle showed me selections of paper and ribbon, from which I chose a pretty cream colored paper with gold stars, with some contrasting ribbons. She assured me that they would find a perfect box and even insert some florals. Because the rain makes my back act up, I sent my husband to pick up the wrapped present that was ready just after the shop opened the very next day -- OMG! It looked like it came out of a catalog -- and it was only $15 plus tax! When I was at the store, I had inquired about personalized embossed stationary, and Michelle told me that they did a type of "reverse embossing" (I've forgotten the appropriate term, but you get the picture). I'm DEFINITELY going to explore their options! This boutique may have gained a customer for life! Thank you -- and kudos for quick thinking, putting your creation wrapped in a trash bag to protect it from the inclement weather

The prices are about 50-70% OFF of retail, which is hard to beat. You have to move quickly because what you see is what you get, everything is consigned by everyday people or company buyouts, meaning you can't order more. This makes it a super fun treasure hunt!! The store is LOADED. The staff is super helpful and style-minded. You can also make some cash by bringing in your furniture & home decor to sell. Great selection of art, decor, foliage, even jewelry & designer handbags.

As they requested, I contacted them via email with descriptions and pictures of the items I wanted to consign. I was told they would respond in a few days. So I waited over a week and called them. I was told to resend the info. She would call me to confirm. So, again I waited. The next day I called to follow up. I was told that the email was received and a response could be expected in a few hours. I NEVER HEARD BACK, no email, no phone call! I deserved some type of response. If they couldn't take it, fine....but let me know. There is no excuse for treating your customer with such disrespect! I'm not inclined to sell or buy from this business again!

I saw so many colorful and old/vintage windows and home pieces that could add or enhance your home or add a unique aesthetic to your home. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the pricing, the lack of cleanliness or upkeep of the store, and the disappointment in this store definitely not being ADA complying for anyone who may have a mobility issue or wheelchair bound. There are so many items tucked away in corners and up against the walls here that it just seems like it would be dangerous and compact to try to walk comfortably. Parking might be a thing as we couldn't see any spots in front that would allow us to park. We had to park down the way (alley) and walked over to get to the store. It's really dusty here and although many things are labeled with the year and the type of wood/metal/glass the pricing just doesn't make any sense. I will say if you are down to explore and really take your time to look around to find a unique piece do it but maybe bring gloves? Everything is old and not in the best condition so be forewarned.
