My wife and I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing. Some trees were priced higher and asked to see ones as advertised. The gentlemen who helped us took us in the back and helped pick out a beautiful tree. We went to pay and told him we members of the chamber and received a slight discount he threw in a bottle of Plantabbs Prolong to nourish the tree. They put the tree in our SUV and home we went. The tree is beautiful for what we paid for it. See pics. I also go here for my Propane and the staff are always polite and efficient. Slim picking right now because of after summer planting and fall plants just starting to come in…read more Very small selection of Mums and other fall flowers at this time. Stars still stay at 4 because of the awesome service. They are so helpful with telling you what to put on your plants to make them bloom better. Please note that when them tell you just a little of the product will work....believe them. I decided that if a little was good (fertilizer) then a lot must be better...WRONG. My plants did not die, but the result was a lot of greenery without a lot of blooms. Too much nitrogen is not good. Next year I will listen better and remember my mistake. Brian gave me a quote ($500 for 300 sq ft of sod), made some some sod recommendations (fescue), and in general it was a smooth, pleasant convo. However, the driver arrived 1.5hr AHEAD of schedule. This wasn't ideal, as I had errands to run... and then I was charged $540 vs $500 as was discussed. There was no heads up about this. Again, I'm impressed with the initial communication and the quick turnaround, but you can't add an 8% price increase without letting me know about it in advance. I wanted to support a local biz, this price was now closer to Home Depot eliminating the savings. Just something to be mindful of, when working with Oceanside Nursery.

She told me to go to the self service machine and follow the instructions. So I ask another employee if they could assist me with copying some keys. They said they would contact someone to come help me. No one ever came to help me and another person who was also asked for assistance. I'm not sure what's the point of having a key section if you're just going to tell customers to go to the self service machine.
