The Grafton team are lifesavers. My oil filter housing on my Acura was leaking. Solution was to change the gaskets...easy enough. Well, that was until one of the bolts snapped off. The DIY solutions of drilling into your engine block were out of the question. After calling several places they kept giving me the run around about how difficult a job this was and how super expensive it would be, no place I called even sounded confident they could do it. I reached out to the dealership to inquire about their solution. I tried every trick available on the internet trying to remove a broken bolt extractor in a broken exhaust manifold bolt. All I did was waste a bunch of money on "hardened" drill bits, and cuss like the dad from "A Christmas Story" when he was working on his furnace in the basement. And to my neighbors- I apologize. Wasn't a good look- admittedly. It sounds like a cliché, but without a doubt, I wish I would've contacted Sean earlier. He saved my ass for sure, and even came to my house to make the repair, (the motor was out of the vehicle, and I was unable to transport it). A huge Thank You to Sean. He showed up at my location today and saved me a headache. I was trying to replace my side rock sliders for my Jeep with some better ones. The sliders had to connect to the front mount bolt which connected to the frame. The big problem was that the bolt was installed with red Loctite. I added heat to it but not enough and of course it broke off. So, a friend of mine wanted to help by trying his bolt extractor. So, the bolt extractor also broke off. This of course made the job much tougher to fix. When Sean came to look at my bolt he noticed the extractor stuck and he said that it will take a lot longer but he was confident the whole time that he could get it out. Sean kept doing his thing for a few hours and finally got rid of the bolt. He even took my new bolt and made sure that I can screw the bolt in without any problems. Sean was super professional and the person who responded to me to make this appointment was just as professional. So at least now I know if I need help with any future bolt extraction, I would definitely call Sean. read more

After many heart breaking, knuckle busting attempts to remove a broken screw from the filter guard on my dirt bike, I stormed off to the hardware store to see what they would recommend. I had already called 2 other mobile services to get quotes, one quoted me close to $600 and the other guy never picked up. Called Sean and left a voicemail and he called back within 2 hours and asked me a bit about what my problem was. I had a upper thermostat housing bolt shear off while I was rehauling my cooling system on my Jeep. I tried all the home remedies (welding a nut, vice grips, heating, cutting a notch for a flathead with vice grips) it wouldn't budget and ended up trying to drill out myself. My bits suck and my drill was too large to get any sort of progress. He said it wouldn't be a problem. I gotta tell you how pleased I am to have met this man. I just got from visiting his shop. I broke a bolt on my engine case last week's I spend days trying to find anyone to remove the broken bolt from the engine. About 6 machine shops told me it was an impossible job. The only guy who said he might do it said he would charge me about 400 dollars because he could see the desperation in my eyes. I called up Sean and after a brief description he said he could do it. He later asked for pics of the damage. He looked at it, called me back and again assured me it shouldn't be a problem and quoted me about 150. I made arrangements to bring him the bike today, saturday. From what I saw today is his day off. When my bike was done, Sean had brought the bike to good as new, and even did a little extra to ensure the part I was trying to mount fit perfect. When I asked what the damage was, he said 120. I almost fell back at how cheap he was charging me. I ended up paying the 120 and gave him a little extra for him to take out his kids for dinner. This guy does amazing work, is very honest, reasonable and the fact that he came in on a Saturday only exemplifies what a true professional he is.
