Look. I went to graffiti's 3 times. To get a nose and belly piercing and a tattoo. Getting my belly button pierced was a good experience! But then I got my nose piercing. The piercer was so high that she was gonna pierce the very side of my nose. I had to tell her where the piercer. Trust me. I am a VERY big 420 supporter. But don't do it if you dealing with other peoples bodies. And then my tattoo. The stencil looked good! And then once it was done, there were harsh stops from where he wasn't drag stopping he was just stopping and lifting up. And the first letters of every word Are like 2x smaller then all the other letters. I tried giving them chances and I was just disappointed. read more

Holy cow. First time getting an OFFICIAL piercing (not one done by Claire's), and they did awesome! Crystal (I think her name was?) did an AMAZING job on my ears and nose, and filled me in on everything I needed to keep both of my piercings from getting infected. I split the payment with my partner, and she was totally cool with it! We were in and out! Overall, my experience was awesome, and when I get my second nose piercing, I am TOTALLY coming back! I really enjoyed working with Micki at Graffiti's. I have been planning on getting my 8th tattoo for a little while, but just having moved back to the area, wasn't really sure on where to go with it. Micki was extremely patient with some of my planning/timing issues. At one point, I got a minor surgery and thought I might get the tattoo the next day, but Micki had me wait until I was healed up, which shows to me that she was looking out for my health/safety. The front of the shop is fairly unassuming, but it's relatively easy to find, especially if you're using your GPS. Inside there is a sitting area. Everyone that I met seemed pretty kind and open. Micki listened to my idea, which I had asked her about previously, and sketched up this really beautiful little design for me. I told her I wanted color and possibly watercolor, but I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted that to be saturated. I got my tattoo on my left side on my ribcage. But the entire process was pretty comfortable for me, to be honest. Although it hurt, Micki talked to me the whole time, and was pretty gentle with my skin. At no point was I writhing in pain. She seemed to take good care of what she did. The shop also sends you away at the end with aftercare instructions. Overall I'm really happy with Graffiti's and would definitely make the drive over to get my next tattoo done there! read more

I went here to get my third and second lobe piercing! The piercer was very nice and informative... The only thing is my third holes were not even. I did say something but she said the reason they look like that is because my ears were a different shape...... But I don't think that's entirely true. Looked at me like i had 3 heads and was rude af when i walked in asking if i could be shown the jewelry selection they had to switch out my piercing. I even called before i came into the place and asked if the piercer was in today and they said yes till 5, and for me to come in person and talk to the piercer bc he can't tell me if they had a titanium option. Graffiti's is by far the most welcoming tattoo shop I've ever visited. I became discouraged by the culture of another well-known shop in RVA and felt that I was wasting the time of the artists. I read some reviews about Graffiti's Ink and saw that they were closer to my house so this past March I went in with my daughter for a piercing and a tat. Great service by Autumn and Ginny. The tat consultation with Ginny was precisely what I wanted and Autumn gave me a second nostril pierce. I had the urge again this week to get a couple of small tats and walked in and the dynamic duo was working! Ginny drew out some detailed work and took care of me in no time. Her artistry is so precise and the heal time is so fast. I can't say enough good about this shop. I'll be back again to see Ginny and Autumn. read more

We have visited Graffiti's several times for piercings (no tattoos yet, but maybe one day) and have always been very pleased with the service. Autumn has been wonderful to work with. She takes her time explaining the process and going over care instructions and is very understanding if a client is nervous about the procedure. I went and got my cartridge pierced here just a spur of the moment thing and y'all Dara was the girl that did it was amazing! She was so sweet and made all my worries go away she answered all my questions and was just so friendly in general! Pricing was so reasonable and she was super sterile. Got my first two tattoos here and they did amazing! Staff was awesome and tattoos look GREAT!

I went here for second hole lobe piercings. The staff was very nice and did a great job explaining the procedure and aftercare instructions. However, I was told to buy my own jewelry for my piercing, because they ran out. After the piercings were finished, one was perfect and one was too far away from my first hole. She left the plastic backings on the back of the earrings, which held blood and did not allow my ears to breathe, or for me to clean behind them. She also said she put the backing on pretty tight, but "you can loosen them up later", rather than loosening it up for me, which made my one ear swell up a lot. read more
