There's so much variety! You can even get Buckeyes packed in an Ohio State Themed Buckeye box. On my first visit, I bought the 16oz. Milk Melt-A-Way Mints and we took it to a family's house. Once we got to the dessert (the mints) there was silence. Everyone was in Nirvana. I secretly sobbed inside when we left the remaining mints behind. It was then I realized I should have just brought half of the box, but I digress. On this current visit, I chose to make my own half pound box from the counter case. Who am I kidding, it wasn't like I just jumped over the counter....but Mackenzie (the manager) was very helpful. Basically, you get 16 pieces, which does not include truffles, so I said, "Just give me two of each flavor from the milk chocolate creams and two from one of the dark chocolate creams." There are 7 flavors, and it seems you cannot find them on the website. So I guess if you want to custom build your box you have to do it in the store. But don't worry, there is so much to chose from on their website! I will definitely be back and try their Buckeyes. And get some more melt-a-way mints.

The ambiance in the store was rude and negative and was not an experience I enjoyed. The children said the candy was good but I believe it was overpriced and they were out of stock with many items. They seemed annoyed when the children walked in which made them very upset. I overall did not enjoy this experience and neither did my children.

The person that answered said that they were currently allowing people to come in but if I preferred curbside pick up that they would be happy to assist. I placed my order, paid ahead of time so I could just pick up the order and drove over to get my items. Upon entering the store I noticed that the floor was clearly marked with tape showing one way through the store. I followed the arrows until I reached an associate. My order was marked with my name and ready for pick up. I grabbed my items and headed back out, following the arrows to the exit. The candy that I picked up was perfect, made locally and went perfectly with a gift. The person that received the gift said the candy was excellent and loved it. I appreciated the courtesy staff that took my order as well as handed me my order when I arrived. I appreciated the safety ,ensures that they put in place for me and the other customers.

The toffee is good, pretty hard so none for Baby K or anyone with bad teeth, wrapped in rich dark chocolate. Haven't tried the brittle yet, but come on, bacon, you know I had to get some. Yeah, yeah, there are peanuts in there, too. I bought too much, and yet am afraid I will run out too quickly. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for- this is good stuff. Glad to see local businesses making it through this. Glad this place is here. I'll be back. Note: the sign says Eagle Family Candy, not John Eagle, and it's a tiny place so use GPS and be careful. I called the number listed here soon after they opened, and inquired about getting 18 boxes of 6 buckeyes. They were able to accommodate me the same day, and had everything ready beautifully! Furthermore, we were so pleased with how friendly they are. We purchased a couple buckeyes to try for ourselves and oh my goodness, they were divine! I will definitely be recommending this shop for anyone looking for chocolates and buckeyes. Finally, our friends came from all over and had amazing things to say about the buckeyes.
