Needed to place a last minute bouquet order for a friend that lost a family member and found this place via uber eats. I was nervous because of the negative reviews but thankfully didn't let those reviews deter me. I called the florist asking if uber is a good way to get a delivery and confirmed the estimated time. She received a beautiful bouquet well within the delivery time and the flowers are still as beautiful as ever 4 days later with no maintenance. If I could give this business a 0, I would. They are unprofessional and violate the Internal Revenue Code. I worked as a driver and needed to prepare my back taxes. The business refused to provide me with the EIN number. Employees Anne Marie a​nd Minnie gave me the round around for a week. Minnie stated that I would get the full EIN# ​number on Saturday when a particular employee comes in. That was a lie! The company has hindered me in filing my taxes. I will have to go to the IRS for help and file a complaint as well! I am disabled with mobility issues and going there is a hardship. This company is disgusting!!! I ordered Valentine's Day flowers through 1800Flowers, which were fulfilled by Graceland Florist. 1st, the flowers were NOT delivered on Valentine's Day, and then they sent a half dead bouquet of flowers the next day. Very long story short. My first arrangement was $70 from 1800 flowers and what I actually received was laughable so I asked for a replacement. When the replacement arrived I was told I would have to give the original one back. After some back and forth I obliged because I was not going to argue with the delivery driver. Turns out the delivery driver works for the florist and according to 1800 flowers the florists get angry and ask for a return of the original merchandise to spite the customer. Said delivery driver accused me of stealing roses out of the original arrangement before giving it back to her. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. Be careful when purchasing from 1800 flowers in the lower hudson valley because it it likely the order will go through them. Be prepared to be embarrassed of what gets sent on your behalf. read more

If you'd like to be dissapointed & have the WRONG flowers delivered to a loved one, make sure you order a bouquet from 1800Flowers & Graceland Florist!  At work, my team wanted to order flowers for a co-worker of ours who recently had surgery and was returning to work today 09/27. We ordered what looked like a beautiful bouquet on top of a vase shaped like a martini glass. It was just about $70, + next day shipping which was $15.  When the flowers arrived we were beyond dissapointed!  The bouquet was not at all what we ordered. Not even close! The dying flowers were weak, dry and stuffed into the wrong vase. We called at around 11am and asked if they could send the correct bouquet which they agreed to. 3pm came along and we did not receive the correct bouquet or even a call.  We decided to ask for a refund which was not an easy task!  The 1800Flowers rep kept trying to convince us to wait until tomorrow to receive the bouquet we initially ordered, does that make any sense?! The rep was not at all understanding of the fact that we ordered these flowers for this day for a reason and next day delivery for a mistake on THEIR end is unacceptable! After plenty of unnecessary back and forth, we were finally refunded the full amount and we gladly rejected their offer of a $25 coupon for "next time."  1800flowers and Graceland Florists should be thoroughly embarressed. read more

I placed an internet order through AVAS Flowers for my 99 year old godmother, and in turn Graceland got my order. All I have to do is post the picture from AVAS's website and then show you pictures of Graceland's rendition of matching that picture. You will see the half dead flowers and the scant number of blooms, it's almost like they threw what they had in a vase in the dark, no creativity or special style; it looked and smelled like rotting stems. If you don't have fresh flowers then don't send it, they did, I spent $75 and received a bouquet that barely looked like I spent $10 on it. Cons: this is the second time within the past 6 months that the same driver has delivered flowers without wearing a mask or gloves. I was very concerned about his lack of COVID protocols. My boyfriend sent me flowers on valentine's day. I'm sure he had to pay extra for it to be delivered today...but it was quite disappointing once i saw how ugly the flowers were. It had 4 roses..and one other flower in the middle..everything else were leaves and extra stuff you just put in to make the vase fuller...but worst of all, the flowers were in terrible condition. The flower cake for my wife's birthday arrived on time, the flower cake was smaller than I thought it would be for what I paid. The biggest complaint for me though was the person who delivered it today, just left it sitting in front of our front door. They didn't knock or ring the bell to let us know the cake was there. I made the mistake of ordering from 1800Flowers about a week before valentines day, to be delivered on valentines day. I chose a purple arrangement of tulips wild flowers etc. What my wife received was a bunch of red roses and like 3 small purple flowers... I specifically chose this arrangement because my wife does not like roses. so as you can imagine I got a call from a pissed off wife complaining about how "I don't even know what she likes". GREAT I called and complained and the woman answering the phone was very friendly but the option presented(pick up of original order, and delivery of new flowers) is just not viable. In addition to this, the flowers were half dead and a number of them hadn't even bloomed yet. So yeah. while there may not be a whole lot you can do to avoid this place when ordering through 1800Flowers, if you have options otherwise, choose a different florist. read more

Our wedding was held on October 28, 2018.  I had been using Graceland Florist for all of my flower needs for more than 15 years and I knew that the only person I would trust with my wedding flowers was Anne Marie.     While I love flowers, I was a little overwhelmed about where to start in planning for the big day was concerned. I looked at a lot of arrangements on Pinterest, which helped to generate some ideas, but I wasn't really sure how to consolidate these ideas into something that would work for us.  Several complications were involved: Our wedding was in the fall, but my Mom's dress was a gorgeous steel blue, so I didn't want to go with the typical fall colors.   In addition, we had an interfaith Jewish/Catholic ceremony that would incorporate a chuppah.     Anne Marie worked with me every step of the way to address all of our needs and concerns. She helped me to pick out some gorgeous plums and violets that complimented both my Mom's dress as well as my sister's (she went with a lovely lavender).  For my bouquet, we incorporated some mini calla lilies, which represented the same flower we used for my husband's boutonniere in white and my sister's bouquet in plum.  We picked beautiful orchids for Mom's corsage and for my niece's headpiece, a crown of purple and white roses. The ornamental cabbages in purple provided a beautiful fall touch and brought all of the colors together.   Since I am not Jewish, I wanted to incorporate my family's history in the chuppah and decided to use my mother's fabric wedding cape on the top.   Mom worked very hard to sew the cape to tulle fabric so we could hang it.   The day of the event, everything was absolutely stunning.  The designer did a beautiful job of bringing it all together.  The flowers and branches that comprised the chuppah were absolutely stunning.  And Mom's cape was such a special touch.     Since we used the same room for the ceremony and the dinner, we didn't have anywhere to put the tall centerpieces.   However, the florist came up with the brilliant idea of leaving them on the floor, which proved to be a stroke of genius. The tall arrangements around the room made us feel like we had been magically transported to a gorgeous garden!   The team was also really flexible.  Since we used the same room for the ceremony and the reception, the team had to quickly jump into action following the ceremony to dismantle and remove the chuppah. This was something we hadn't really planned for, but the florist was extremely flexible and accommodating. read more

Update Thanks for the response but in regards that flowers overtime would look better if taken care of well i didnt want to wait for it to become fuller thats why i paid for it to look good at the moment of arrival and didnt say anything about the fruits the were fine.
