I've been using Blossom Flower shop, on McLean Ave., now for over 40 years. I've never been disappointed with the work they've done. Lately mostly for funerals. I've used them to send flowers to someone special in the past, at her office. It always made her happy. When I call l, I explain what the occasion is, who it is for, and anything else that might help them find the best and appropriate arrangement. I've never had them try and push the sale to something far more expensive. The flowers arrive on time, where they are supposed to go, are always fresh, fragrant, and in perfect condition, as well as appropriate for the occasion. I felt justified during this time of morning, I was taken advantage of. I called to complain and sent pictures via email as requested. Never received a call back. I reached out to the company. They tried telling me the substitutes made were comparable and could.only offer me a 10% discount. I said absolutely not. I asked for a full refund or a new comparable arrangement sent. They than placed me on hold for over 20 mins. Only to come back and offer me a 15% refund. This is a cute flower shop located right on McLean Ave. I've passed it frequently over the years and have always been wowed by the beautiful window displays they showcase; they are truly exquisite and definitely something that draws your eye. I was in the area today for the Yonkers St. Patrick's Day parade and thought it would be a good idea to stop in and pick up some palm crosses for Palm Sunday. Stepping inside, the inside is just as lovely as the outside - they have a good variety of botanicals all beautifully arranged. I'm from California and by the time I realized any online services won't do same day because it was so last minute, I called around to see if I can make a request. It was about an 1.5 hours before closing and most places flat out said no to me. Thankfully Blossom Flower Shop helped me and was glad to make the delivery.
