I hate to write a bad review but I am so disappointed and fear for future clients here. This is my third visit and usually my experience is great, but I went in for eyebrows and chin and I came back looking like I got in a fight. Notice the photos posted. I didn't notice upon leaving my CUTS because my eyes watered per usual, so my vision was blurry. I have gotten my brows threaded multiple times as well as my chin since I take supplements that quicken the growth of hair. Anyway, the older woman who I didn't catch the name of helped me today. It was a little more painful she was slightly agressive on my brows....more than usual and when I got back to work I noticed cuts and blood on my skin. I have never experienced this in all my threading and waxing days. See photos and they speak for themselves. My eye is actually stinging and slightly swollen and my chin is slightly swollen as well. You can still see redness and it has been four hours since I've got them done. Hopefully I didn't experience bruising or scarring. Of course I won't be going back and I recommend everyone stay away and I will now be going back to Beauty By Dolly in hillcrest who was my original threader. Be warned ! read more

LOVE this place! I was going to their Scripps Ranch location for a few years, even though I live in Mission Valley. Then they opened here and it's so much more convenient for me! I've tried a couple of other threading places and they don't compare to his place. The girls are personable and know what they're doing. I was here this past Friday morning and the girl helped to not just thread, but shape my brows as well. I don't remember her name, but she has super long hair that she keeps tied back. I always make sure to come in when it's her since she knows my face. Will be back in a month, per usual! read more

I've been here twice now and couldn't have been happier with the results I've gotten. The salon (or whatever it may be called) is very clean, modern and comfortable; by appt or walk-in (I've done both), I haven't ever had to wait very long; the girl I've seen both times has been very professional, courteous and does a great job (don't remember her name), but the other employees seem equally as nice. Overall, for $10, it's a great deal for my eyebrows, especially since it lasts a lot longer than waxing - very happy with this place! read more

I've been going to Grace Threading since they first opened their store in Scripps Ranch. Everyone is always friendly and professional although my go to person is Rana. She always does a great job with my eyebrows. She's fun and so sweet! Since she has moved to the Hillcrest location, I drive 30 minutes to go see her. Totally worth the extra drive. This place is the only place I go to for threading. No appointment necessary. I've walked in many times and have never had a problem with them fitting me in. read more

You cannot find a better threading place. One your eyebrows, upper lip, chin, etc. are done if you ask for aloe over witch hazel you get a nice little facial massage! read more

These ladies are great! I wish they still did tinting, but I have been going for months while growing my eye brows out and they look so much better than when I started. Be sure to tell them what you want (arch, thicker, etc) and they will make it happen. I don't break out like I do with waxing, and they are cheap too! read more

Walk in any time, for a small fee, walk out a few minutes later with perfectly groomed brows and no red skin! I have to give this place 5 stars because every time i go i feel like chewbacca and they make me feel amazing after they clean my brows up. AVELEN is so sweet she knows that i am not about that chola thin eyebrow look so she keeps me looking great by letting my brows grow and not shaping them thin at all. I bought the Groupon for this location, $15 for 3 threading sessions is too good of a deal to pass up. I went for the first time yesterday and was very pleased with the service. Rana threaded my eyebrows and she was very receptive to how I wanted my eyebrows (still thick, clean up, and arch) and made sure to make them even (I could feel her using the thread to see if they were). She was also very nice/chatty which either made me not pay attention to the pain or she actually knew what she was doing so it wasn't super painful. I've always been more into threading than waxing bc I have sensitive skin, however every threader isn't the same and I've still had other painful treading experiences and red skin after. Here at Grace Threading I had no/minimal redness after and the pain was way less than usual (usually my eyes are watering up a storm). Would definitely be back with or without the Groupon, but will definitely be back 2 more times with my awesome Groupon deal. Definitely want Rana again next time! read more

I am consistently happy coming here. All of the employees are very helpful and they always ask what shape I am looking for before they start. Eyebrow threading is $10 and they are always gentle. I've been to others threading places around town (beauty by Dolly and Aliyah's) and they both cut me! I've been to Grace several times and I know I've found the right spot for me. They offer a loyalty card (after ten eyebrow threads, the eleventh is free). They will also give you 10% off if you refer a friend. read more
