I won't be returning here because of the way I feel when I leave. Multiple times the women have criticized me for "plucking" my eyebrows even when I've let them grow a full month beforehand. Also, one lady shaped my eyebrows the way she thinks looks good, not the way I asked, and when I told her she told me abruptly that an arch is not the style anymore. I was unsatisfied, but at that point I just said leave them and I fixed them when I got home. I often get ingrown hairs and zits after getting threaded there and that has not happened at other places. I feel like when you get a salon service you should feel relaxed, but I have never felt that there. I will say that after my last negative experience, the front desk girl came outside and asked if I was ok and said she would speaking to the owner. read more

I have been going to Grace Threading several locations for years ! Most recently, I have been going to this one in Hillcrest and I absolutely love it ! They are affordable, quick, and clean. Not to mention their customer service is amazing and they provide great results. Donya, I hope this how she spells it, she did such a wonderful job with my eyebrows on New Years Eve . I have curly eyebrows so they are a bit more difficult to tame. She walked me through tips and tricks to help me and my brows have never looked better thanks to her! I have serious trust issues when it comes to who does my thick eyebrows because I've had terrible past scenarios where my thick eyebrows become thin noodles! Lol but the beautiful ladies at Grace Threading NEVER disappoint. I used to have my preferences when it came to who did my eyebrows but then I realized that each lady has done my eyebrows wonderfully! They do not disappoint and really take their time. They constantly check to make sure every misplaced hair is gone and that you walk out of there looking on fleek and beautiful! Plus the customer service is great and everyone is so so sweet. Love this place. I've been here several times in the last 2 years and love how they keep my brows looking classy and natural. Even though my eyebrows are kinda straight they do a great job trying to create a nice arch. Although the shop is located in a great shopping center, I don't live close by so sometimes I've gone to other threading salons.... BIG MISTAKE. Threading is so much better than waxing, less messy, painful, and it allows for nicer arches. When I lived in L.A. I would drive to Little India, in Artesia to get my eyebrows done. Then, I found this place in Miramesa, I loved it. However, I'm glad they opened a branch closer to me. I've been going here for about a little over year. I've had three people do my eyebrows, but I only trust Rana. The two times, I had different people do them, they were misshapen, lopsided, uneven and one thinner than the other, to say the least. Whatever you do DO NOT let Linda do your eyebrows. She is the only reason I gave this place four stars. I had to draw in my eyebrows and wait a month before they grew out. What's better than one Grace threading? There's two now! Love the new store. They do eyebrows and tinting here. Same low prices and quality of work. Ask for Rana! My eyebrows were in need of a shaping, so instead of having them waxed, I decided to have them threaded this time. Rana had me sign and have a seat until she was ready for me, which was about five minutes. I told her my eyebrows were badly in need of being trimmed and shaped. I've been going here for probably over 2 years now. It's in a great shopping center, however parking can get difficult during peak hours. I like how the salon is very clean and professional. I get my brows threaded and have never waited more than 10 minutes. I give them 4 starts only because their service can be inconsistent. There are some threaders who do better than others, however they listen to exactly what I want and give their professional opinion from time to time. I have only been unsatisfied with my service once, which isn't bad for going twice a month for over two years. Otherwise, I leave feeling refreshed and happy. They also ask you to look at their work before you leave, so you are able to make special requests. read more

I honestly can say they did a amazing job. I'm very skeptical of new eye brow places. Two people worked on me at first, I got a Full face With brows and if anyone has ever got that before it sucks and for me at least it's painfully by the sideburn/ neck area but I hate hair. They explained to me they putting some cream on me before to reduce the probability of breaking out due to my makeup. (No one ever told me that, I've broken out three times in the past.) and baby powder ? Do I know why no but they explained that my browns I ever and they are moving my arch and honestly the most explain I have ever gotten from anyone. I tried Grace Threading out because I got a great deal on Groupon, 3 brow threadings for $15. They did such a poor job that I only went twice... First, the positive: nice and clean salon, ample free parking in Uptown shopping center. That's about it. Now let me start by saying that I've had my brows threaded for a while, and I know how it should feel, how long it should take, and how the result should look. I had the same lady work on my brows both times I went, and I can safely say that she had no clue what she was doing. She was basically using her thread as twizzers, plucking one hair at a time. This is NOT how threading is supposed to be done. Her terrible technique resulted in a lot more pain than necessary, it took her over 15 minutes to do my brows each time, and the result was not as perfect with clean lines as it should have been. The first time, I basically had no arch. The second time, I asked if I could have a little more arch, and she struggled for a while, to eventually leave me with asymmetrical brows and a hole on one side. I was livid. I'm still waiting for the hair to grow back and fill the hole. I went back to my usual threading place and they're helping me fix this major disaster, but it's going to take a while. I'll NEVER go back to Grace. The fact that they work by appointment and are only open till 6PM didn't make it a convenient place anyway. read more

Grace threading is the only place where I go for threading. after experimenting with multiple threading salons in the area, Grace by far is the best. They use and only use thread on your eyebrows compared to other places that claim to use threads but end up tweezing your eyebrows. Cipika (i think she is the owner ) is the best.
