Chris Jones has literally been a good neighbor for about 15 years now, and that's not just a slogan…read more-- it's the way he treats people. From the first time I talked to him, he's always been professional, patient, and genuinely caring. Over the years, he's helped me through all kinds of insurance updates and changes, always taking the time to explain everything clearly so I knew exactly what I was getting. I've checked rates online extensively -- believe me, nobody beats what Chris can offer. He finds the best coverage and the best value, and you can tell he truly loves helping people. He's also the friendliest person I've ever spoken with in any business -- I honestly felt like I was talking to an actual celebrity. Chris goes above and beyond for his clients, and he does it all with humor, heart, and enthusiasm. At one point, he even sang the "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there!" jingle to me -- with full energy and pride. That moment summed him up perfectly: genuine, upbeat, and completely dedicated to making people smile while getting them taken care of. If you want an insurance agent who knows his stuff, delivers unbeatable rates, and treats you like family -- Chris Jones is the one you want on your side.

Front desk or assistant called the next morning and played 20 questions. I finally asked why do you need all this info for just a simple quote?! She said do you don't have to bring it in later. Brianna called back with a quote. I returned her call to get someone else. Come to find out they also did a credit check WITHOUT CONSENT! Guy tried to explain it's only a soft pull. It won't affect your score. That's beside the point. Your front desk didn't say you were pulling my credit! And how'd you even do that without my SSN? Name and DOB. Beware of this shady place. And you can't ever talk to the same person twice. Not to mention their quote was double what I found with another company for better coverage. Run far away!

I've recently received the following phone message from my State Farm Insurance carrier, telling me…read moreState Farm was not going to renew my homeowners' policy. (Not my agent, his assistant.) "The reason for the non-renewal is just basic claim activity. I know there's two claims in 2022 neither of them out any amount, but we're looking at frequency here, so they still count as two homeowners' claims, you know within the past year or so. So, the underwriting team has decided to non-renew the homeowner's policy, you have until June 29th." I was a bit confused because this was the only two inquiries since 2017 when we started our policy coverage. I called the Washington Insurance Commission to help me understand what just happened. The representative was very helpful. She explained that when you have a question to see if something is covered, do not go to your Home Insurance first, ask the Insurance commission. Some insurance companies base renewability on activity not just claims and State Farm is one of them. The representative advised I might consider a brokerage to solve the issue I'm in right now. I went to Yelp, read the reviews and I called Westphal Insurance and I was not disappointed. Julie is great. I was so worried about not having coverage and she just started working on it immediately and I am so grateful to have found them. Julie gave me comprehensive solutions and educated us on the coverage options we do have. As scary as it got, we are all so grateful and relieved.
