It was actually minimal damage, but within a week I had my car back in one piece and the physical therapy road could begin. Did you know in Washington State Farmers insurance allows you to create your own treatment plan with PIP? I suppose it depends on your coverage, but since my car accident the only work I have been able to find is Doordash and they offer the supplemental delivery driver insurance too. $15,000 into recovery from a minor fender bender, I don't want to know what the price tag is on totals and serious injuries. So, thankfully I listened to my agent - Janet, when she stopped me from removing collision coverage down to the bare minimum cause I never had an accident before. Yeah yeah I knocked on wood, but murphey's law will get you eventually. So folks, I understand, the idea behind wanting to cut coverages to reduce premiums, I just about did it myself, but if I hadn't of had that uninsured driver policy with PIP I'd be paying a helluva alot more than my premiums and be without a car. So, just a heads up. EVERYONE!!!!! Check your bill!! I have had Farmers Insurance for years. And…read morefrom day one I have had my bill on autopay. Thankfully I was forced to get a new Bank account with another banking institution because yet another Monroe business stealing from it's customers. So I called to simply update my card info to just keep my automatic payments continuing. So I get a call from Farmers Insurance in Monroe saying that I need to sign some form to allow them to be able to deduct my payment from my account. Well with everything else that is going on, much like everyone else. Life gets busy and things get missed. So I never received, or who knows tossed the form while going thru all the junk mail and bills. So recently I get a call again about this form. Of course they always call at the worst possible time.. So they leave a message saying that I need to get the form filled out or my automatic payment would be cancelled and I would lose the discount associated with it. Well again life took over and got busy once more and totally forgot about it once more. Cut to this month when I receive my bill in the mail.. So I opened the bill only to discover my bill had dropped by $6. Well I'm sure as hell glad I lost that discount I was receiving from having automatic payments set up. Now $6 dollars a month extra may not seem like much. However we are talking about an extra $72 dollars they have been stealing from me AND YOU!!!!! A year For absolutely no reason...... So my attorney, as well as the Better Business Burrow, and the Attorney Generals office all found this fact very interesting. Specially when I played for each of them the exact message I received. Stating that my "discount" associated with my Automatic payment would be removed if they did not receive the form back to allow them to continue to deduct my payment from the new account. DO NOT CONTINUE TO ALLOW FARMERS INSURANCE TO STEAL FROM YOU!!!!!! Check your bills.
