I ended up being put in touch with Scott Wooster who had a very thorough and fun conversation with me where he learned about my insurance needs and situation. I responded to an email so he could review my whole picture that afternoon. The following morning I had a very detailed email with his thoughts. He recommended I stay with my current insurance carrier but then proceeded to suggest ways to reduce my premium there. I did those things that dramatically increased my coverage and reduced my total premiums by about 20%. I can't recommend FirstMark and Scott more. In the future I will be able to change my coverages and Scott will be the first one I call when that day comes.

Jerry is not just an insurance agent or owner of an agency, he's a friend who cares about you more…read morethan I realize at times. While going through a tough time in my life he called just to check in and say hello and see how I was doing. NO selling, just a friendly call. After a few, lets say "incidents" my auto insurance was going to go up. I had to make a switch. After trying to quote me several different policies he said to go get some other quotes and there's bound to be someone cheaper. WHAT?? Yes, like i said he cares about his clients and understood the position i was in and he knew i would be back after some "things" started to fall off my driving record. I still kept my renters insurance and life policy and my father has all of his policies with Jerry. My father has been with Allstate for over 37 years so not only does Jerry really take care of you he works for one of the best insurance companies there is. Thank you Jerry and to all of your wonderful staff who ALWAYS answer the phone during business hours...how do they do that anyways? Never once have a i received a voice-mail when trying to call in. That's dedication!

My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.

And I still am in most cases, but John and Camra at Interstate Insurance found me decades ago, luckily for me and my family. Their help in finding and maintaining insurance coverage for cars and home is invaluable. Like another poster here, I have been shown new ways to protect myself and family, and they keep my account under review to keep my costs as low as possible, my protection lean and in line with my needs. Another unique service they have provided is that, when I tell them I want a change in coverage, Camra or John will caution me and even contradict me where I may ignorant of a misstep. Imagine the courage and commitment to their clients that it takes to argue with them in their own best interest! Camra and John have consistently saved me money and steered me to the best courses of action time sand again I can't believe I haven't reviewed this business before. They have been steadfast in protecting me and my family longer than any other business in my community. 28 years! I wouldn't think of changing, and cannot recommend Interstate Insurance Agency enough.

Plus added peace of mind that I have coverage when I need a car rental. My car and home policies were transferred to Tom Lusich in Shoreline after Frank Fu in Seattle/UDistrict retired. This is a comprehensive and long overdue post (8/3/23). I have not met Mr. Lusich or any of his office associates in person. However, dealing with them via email or telephone has been seamless and professional with additions or changes made to specific policies. Most recently, I am finally dealing with a windshield ding that became an extensive crack across the driver's side. I received a referral from my long time service advisor at a local car dealership. I called Tom Lusich's State Farm office, got the authorization based on my policy, all the logistics were dealt with, and my windshield replacement appointment was scheduled all within the same business day. Timely, thorough, and professional service!
