And I still am in most cases, but John and Camra at Interstate Insurance found me decades ago, luckily for me and my family. Their help in finding and maintaining insurance coverage for cars and home is invaluable. Like another poster here, I have been shown new ways to protect myself and family, and they keep my account under review to keep my costs as low as possible, my protection lean and in line with my needs. Another unique service they have provided is that, when I tell them I want a change in coverage, Camra or John will caution me and even contradict me where I may ignorant of a misstep. Imagine the courage and commitment to their clients that it takes to argue with them in their own best interest! Camra and John have consistently saved me money and steered me to the best courses of action time sand again I can't believe I haven't reviewed this business before. They have been steadfast in protecting me and my family longer than any other business in my community. 28 years! I wouldn't think of changing, and cannot recommend Interstate Insurance Agency enough.

While going through a tough time in my life he called just to check in and say hello and see how I was doing. NO selling, just a friendly call. After a few, lets say "incidents" my auto insurance was going to go up. I had to make a switch. After trying to quote me several different policies he said to go get some other quotes and there's bound to be someone cheaper. WHAT?? Yes, like i said he cares about his clients and understood the position i was in and he knew i would be back after some "things" started to fall off my driving record. I still kept my renters insurance and life policy and my father has all of his policies with Jerry. My father has been with Allstate for over 37 years so not only does Jerry really take care of you he works for one of the best insurance companies there is. Thank you Jerry and to all of your wonderful staff who ALWAYS answer the phone during business hours...how do they do that anyways? Never once have a i received a voice-mail when trying to call in. That's dedication!

I ended up being put in touch with Scott Wooster who had a very thorough and fun conversation with me where he learned about my insurance needs and situation. I responded to an email so he could review my whole picture that afternoon. The following morning I had a very detailed email with his thoughts. He recommended I stay with my current insurance carrier but then proceeded to suggest ways to reduce my premium there. I did those things that dramatically increased my coverage and reduced my total premiums by about 20%. I can't recommend FirstMark and Scott more. In the future I will be able to change my coverages and Scott will be the first one I call when that day comes.

What was not disclosed was that I also needed to have a bank account on file for autopay in order to avoid extra fees. A month later, I received an email saying I still had a balance because of this hidden requirement. This was never communicated upfront, and I only found out after being charged unnecessarily. I have never had an agent do this before. Now I have to spend my own time fixing something that should not have happened in the first place. While the agent said she can remove the fee, the lack of transparency and the hassle it has caused me is unacceptable. I had hoped to be a long-term customer, as I was with my American Family agent back in Minnesota, but after this experience I will be switching agents when my policy is up. Very disappointing and frustrating. I cannot recommend this agency.

My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.
