When I kept getting notices of proof of insurance being required, I was helped out. I don't have a printer so that I could send these documents but thanks to my agent I could electronically sign, and they sent it directly to Progressive, who kept bugging me for the proof of coverage. So, this is a good start. I hardly ever spoke to my handlers back in NJ, and may not here either, but so far, I'm glad that they're pleasant to deal with.

I will spare you all of the bizarre details except that I was a 25-year SF client who'd just switched to this agent when an employee accidentally sent me an in-house email she'd written about me to someone else. It was incoherent, full of profanity and impatience about me for reasons that are still totally mysterious. It seemed to be putting her out that I wanted to buy a policy? Lots of weirdness ensued until I finally got a message from Karrie Dubose, and her response was terse and cold, no apology, then totally ignored my question about the policy itself. Honestly I'm still mystified! I found another SF agent and he's been awesome.

I now have damage to my roof from hail and storm, and the Claims Adjuster William Parker stated it also had other circumstances associated with the roof. I was told by Mr Parker that the roof would be totally replaced in the amount of $xx. Instead, the settlement received was in the amount of $x; half the size of what was told to me. My happiness over Safeco is now very sad. I am assuming since Safeco Insurance is a very reputible company, and recommended to me by Crest, that this issue will be solved and resolved.
