I ended up being put in touch with Scott Wooster who had a very thorough and fun conversation with me where he learned about my insurance needs and situation. I responded to an email so he could review my whole picture that afternoon. The following morning I had a very detailed email with his thoughts. He recommended I stay with my current insurance carrier but then proceeded to suggest ways to reduce my premium there. I did those things that dramatically increased my coverage and reduced my total premiums by about 20%. I can't recommend FirstMark and Scott more. In the future I will be able to change my coverages and Scott will be the first one I call when that day comes.

I was communicating with Crystal about liability insurance for my farm. Initially, she said "no…read moreproblem" and quoted me a reasonable estimate. A few days later she called and said that the insurer she had in mind no longer offered what I needed and she would look around. She called back with a an estimate of $1800 a year and limits to the amount of coverage for damages caused by my 2 mini-horses and/or 7 hens. I said that was too high and she said she'd keep looking. I really appreciated her effort. Here's where it got bad. She left voicemail with a quote that was reasonable, but animals were excluded. I called back 3/19 and I was told she was busy and I was sent to her voicemail. I said I would take the insurance. I didn't hear back. On 3/22 I called again and again I was told she was busy and again I left voicemail. It is now 3/28 and I have not heard from anyone at the insurance company. I have been ghosted and only assume they do not want my business. It is a very unprofessional way to let me know.

My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.

Plus added peace of mind that I have coverage when I need a car rental. My car and home policies were transferred to Tom Lusich in Shoreline after Frank Fu in Seattle/UDistrict retired. This is a comprehensive and long overdue post (8/3/23). I have not met Mr. Lusich or any of his office associates in person. However, dealing with them via email or telephone has been seamless and professional with additions or changes made to specific policies. Most recently, I am finally dealing with a windshield ding that became an extensive crack across the driver's side. I received a referral from my long time service advisor at a local car dealership. I called Tom Lusich's State Farm office, got the authorization based on my policy, all the logistics were dealt with, and my windshield replacement appointment was scheduled all within the same business day. Timely, thorough, and professional service!

Like another poster here, I have been shown new ways to protect myself and family, and they keep my account under review to keep my costs as low as possible, my protection lean and in line with my needs. Another unique service they have provided is that, when I tell them I want a change in coverage, Camra or John will caution me and even contradict me where I may ignorant of a misstep.
