Because Andrew takes the time to explain things to me in plain simple english, no big Insurance words to confuse me. Like when the price went up. The analogy Andrew made to explain it to me was priceless! I always tell andrew he has to explain things to me like I am a five year old and he does that without making me feel stupid. I was really upset when my car insurance went up really high, and I had not done anything wrong. Not only did Andrew and his team try to find me cheaper insurance, but when they couldn't , Andrew called me himself to explain because I was really upset. He explained to me how all insurance went up for everyone, with so may new uninsured drivers and accidents. If I remember correctly the analogy he made was something like, comparing other peoples accidents to peeing in a pool. "I didn't pee in the pool but enough people did, and now the pool has to be cleaned and everyone has to pay for it. " That was priceless. I was laughing so hard I could not really stay upset that much anymore. Now if you could just please remember to email me a receipt every time I call in to pay my bill , then you would be almost perfect! Thank you, Shannon read more

We had recently had our policies with State Farm shifted to a new agent with which we weren't familiar. We were hoping to work with someone that we already trusted and were reminded of Dan Fortune. Great timing! Having recently moved we could do with a little tightening of the belt in relation to our insurance numbers. Dan took our policies and ran a bunch of numbers from different companies to see what he could offer. In the end, we were able to save hundreds of dollars per year AND get better coverage! It was absolutely a win for us. Dan was thorough, not pushy at all and was able to explain each item very simplistically for us. He takes care of all the paperwork and jumping through hoops so the process is very easy from a client perspective. We look forward to continuing to work with Dan as the years go by! read more

I heard about FirstMark on KIRO radio's Dori Monson show. I eventually called their phone number because I couldn't reach their website - (still can't). I figured they must be rebuilding it. Talked to Gail Welfinger and she was friendly and patient with my different requests. She got back to me without delay and offered a quote which doubled my coverage, included renter's, and was still less than Geico, which is impressive because I had received a dozen other quotes which couldn't beat Geico. When all was said-and-done, Gail was true to her word and the new policy reflected her exact quote -- no hidden fees or charges. I am recommending her to friends, family, and getting a quote for my contractor business. Thanks, Gail and FirstMark! read more

I called FirstMark Insurance hoping to find a better rate for insurance. The agent that I spoke with was John Applegate..He was very professional and knowledgeable..He was able to find us what we needed at a fair price that covered our needs. He made sure everything was done in a timely manner and everything went smoothly from start to finish..I really like the fact that now we have a personal insurance agent to call when we have questions and someone who has our best interest in mind..I highly recommend John and FirstMark insurance . read more

When I moved to AZ from MN, my MN agent spent a lot of time looking for an agent who could provide me with the same level of personal service to which I had become accustomed. They connected me with Andrew Cowan and team at FirstMark in Anthem AZ. And they have been phenomenal. They have taken care of me with every situation, large and small, and smiled along the way. The people are caring, responsive, smart. Just an amazing crew both at the Anthem office and in Washington. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

We had an absolutely fabulous experience with First Mark Insurance. From our initial request for comparative quotes, to our subsequent signing of our new contracts, Andrew gave us excellent service. His prompt sending of quotes, answers to our multiple questions, and no pressure selling was very refreshing. We now pay half of what we had been paying on our automobiles with our previous carrier! Needless to say, we will recommend First Mark Insurance and Andrew to our friends. read more

Absolutely the best. My other insurance had doubled before the new " No counting your credit score" I called FirstMark. Not only cut the new renewal in half, added collision, and my coverage with F. Had been 30/50/30, now it's 100/500/100. Had no problems when I changed vehicles and home, when I got billed from F. even though I was paying a month ahead. Rob has been a wonder through this all. I tell everyone to check out FirstMark, and have sent a little business their way. read more

I have recommended First Mark Insurance to my other family members and friends. They are terrific to work with and provide excellent customer service. I recently had someone hit my parked car and opened a claim with their insurance company. John, from First Mark, checked in with me on a regular basis to see how the claim was progressing and if I needed his assistance. I could not be more impressed by the level of customer service I received. Great Job! read more

Gail was diligent in providing quotes over 3+yrs as I was price checking my previous carrier. The persistent problems I had despite switching agencies for my previous insurer, which included a cancellation due to them not processing my autopayment credit card being changed, drove me to search for a new insurer. Gail got pre-approval from a FirstMark insurer's underwriter which then made it secure to make an insurer change. read more

Very fast response. Ken spent plenty of time with me to learn about our needs and then crafted a great set of policies for us. Plus, they saved us a LOT of money. Ken made the process of updating our insurance enjoyable, quick and a great use of our time thanks to the outstanding savings. Everybody talks about providing great customer service but Ken and FirstMark actually deliver it. read more

John was a great agent to deal with. He carefully examined our needs and recommended we not change companies, but he suggested some policy changes that actually lowered our rates. There was no pressure at all, and he demonstrated a high level of knowledge and integrity in dealing with us. We had just "walked in off the street," and we have since recommended him and FirstMark to friends. read more

For years I have struggled to get personal attention from the firm that handled my business insurance. I switched my coverage to FirstMark and already I feel like I was given a breath of fresh air. Great Service, Incredible value, Not only did I save hundreds of dollars, I was told we needed an additional 300 K in insurance due to current market values, and current high costs to rebuild. I would certainly reccomend checking out Firstmark before you commit to another insurance company. read more

Andrew with FirstMark has been professional, responsive, and helpful for us. One thing I especially appreciated was his willingness to mark down how to pronounce my wife's name. It's a small detail, but says a lot about his character and how he goes about his work and client relationships. read more
