Definitely on the upper end of mid-tier sandwich shops. It was actually hot, bacon was crispy, bread was better than bad. hard to finish the second half though. so salty

Best sandwich on the planet!!!! Grab n go subs!!!

Stopped in here for an early lunch one day. Place is spacious. I did not realize they are a local chain with several locations around town. I ordered #16, the scilian to go. It was pretty good. The bread was a little chewy but good. It could have used a little more spread for more moisture. It is a good size. Staff is friendly. Decent amount of parking in the lot. Some street parking is available. They open early for lunch but are not open for breakfast. A good place for a quick sandwich.

Love this place! The owner is so nice the place also clean and the service is fast and great. Usually I order the Greek Feta salad and a Tuna Sub or the Vegi sub. The price is reasonable and I already back to this place several time and ill keep going. Highly recommended :)

Largest grab and go I have seen!

This is the largest grab and go I have seen. The actually have a huge selection of other things I have not seen from other locations. Only issue I have here is there is only 1 restroom for men and women and employees. Had to time myself to be able to compete against everybody.

Absolutely Amazing Wrap Spicy Turkey n Avocado Wrap..

I was about to give up on this spot but the new staff are awesome. The Spicy Turkey Avo Wrap is really good. Best deli in Kearny Mesa IMO.

The food is was great and one of my favorite spots when I'm craving middle eastern wraps- I did built your own pita so of course I like the ingredients. I loved my pita bread (it's much different from the Greek style if you haven't tried it before!) and the enjoyed the steak in particular. It had a lot of warming spices (nutmeg and cinnamon maybe?) and the flavor is pretty unique! I added bell peppers, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tahini sauce, and garlic sauce. I also got a piece of falafel - I always gotta judge a place by their falafel and this one was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside which was perfect. Next time I need to try the halloumi cheese stix with fig jam! Place was very clean and the decor was nice. I also love the Finjan coffee spot next door.

The staff is also consistently warm and kind, which makes the whole experience feel good from the moment you walk in. My only real frustration is with the wait times on online orders, and it's significant enough that I have to mention it. I work 10 min away and only get a 35-40 minute break. The app consistently quotes around 20 minutes- but honestly, 20 minutes shouldn't even be necessary. I've stood there and watched them make a bowl. It takes about two minutes. Other similar restaurants have my order ready in five minutes, consistently. So when the app quotes 20 and then I still end up waiting at the 20 minute mark on top of that - in a nearly empty restaurant - something is off. Today this happened (I hit the 20 min mark with no food), and I had to go up and ask them to make my order. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's happened enough times over the years that it genuinely deters me from coming here on my break. To their credit, there was a stretch where it seemed like they had it figured out, so I know they can do it. I just wish that consistency would stick. If you're not on a time crunch, absolutely go. The food alone is worth it. But if you're relying on a quoted pickup time, build in a buffer- a bigger one than you'd think you'd need.

I assumed maybe they were out since I noticed a missed call afterward. However, the same thing happened again today. When I called, I spoke with Veronica, who was very kind and professional. I explained that if I'm paying for the more expensive subs, I expect to receive everything included. She placed me on hold to check with the staff and came back saying I didn't pay extra for bacon--only for avocado--and that bacon had been added to the salad. My concern wasn't about adding extras, but simply receiving the order as intended. Unfortunately, the preparation didn't follow my instructions this time either. I had also requested the relish on the side to avoid the salad becoming soggy, but it was still added directly on top. Again, I appreciate Veronica's help, but it's frustrating when the order isn't prepared as requested. Don't plan on going back !

Cheese does not overpower making it a good combo with the peppers and onions. I had the Father Joe - meatball sub. I know an unusual choice but I've been dying for a good one for a while. This one didn't disappoint. Spicy sauce with perfectly sized meatballs made from beef, not pork. Have to also say something silly. Their soda fountain was great. C lately wherever I've gone sodas have felt off. Their mix was just right - I always have Dr Pepper. Hands down the fries were a huge hit. Mine were garlic and parsley. Over the last few visits in the last six months I've noticed the meat quality, overall, has gone down. The meat tends to have chewy, gristly bits throughout, often resulting in me spitting bites into napkins and losing my appetite, not to mention being very cautious not to draw attention from other patrons and turning them off. Yesterday was the worst experience. The entire sandwich was unappealing. It was not only chewy but the flavor was off. My wife and I dabbled at our garlic fries and made our way. Sadly, we have lost our desire to return.

Both establishments take their tea very seriously, so I had to support both with a delicious oolong milk tea (25% sweet); didn't even need to ask them for lactose-free milk options cuz they get me like that. My favorite was popcorn chicken, the chicken was so tender and flavorful, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, tasted even better than some popcorn chicken in Taiwan. The side sauce of basil mayo was not a common for popcorn chicken, people in Taiwan don't dip there chicken with sauce, but it surprised me cause this basil mayo cleaned my palate after eating too many piece of fried chicken. I was most excited about the mapo tots, but it was soooo salty and heavy, it might be weird to say but I thought it should come with rice lol. The mapo tofu on top was good but the flavor was too strong for me, and with oily tots, I felt I could drink a gallon of water when eating this. The hainan chicken tacos were good, very mild flavor compared to the mapo tots. But the tortilla broke apart when eating this, I thought it was too wet, and speaking of hainan chicken, I expected there would be some scallion oil flavor but there wasn't, so this was mild for me. The hojicha latte was great though, very strong hojicha flavor.
