I have to say this is the best place to go to, we had so much great food and the lady Aey served us, Aey was the nicest smartest lady with such good service, anything we wanted Aye got it for us, more people came to our table and Aye made our table bigger to accomdate, not only was the food the best but the service and laughter from Aey was outstanding. When go there again I will ask for Aey tables. read more

Love this place just don't like the super long waiting time for a table. Food is excellent. They take traditional Asian dishes and put a awesome twist to the taste and presentation. read more

Service sucks ass. It takes forever to get seated and they'll seat other people who came after you first. Do not recommend at all. Food wasn't even that great, go to Panda Express instead and save yourself the extra buck. read more

I feel terrible writing this because I have been coming here for forever and have loved it BUT over the last couple years it has started changing. I don't come as much as I used to because I don't live locally anymore, but my husband kids and I will stop for dinner anytime we are in riverside. Each time I've been more and more disappointed and this evening I just couldn't anymore. I think we have to write gra pow off . The service is literally terrible terrible. Almost like their customers are inconvenient. They will take your order and disappear. The prices keep going up but the portions are getting laughable. Their dinner portions are about the size of their old lunch portions. The bar atmosphere is fun. But honestly between the horrific customer service dwindling food portions coupled with inflated prices it just doesn't matter how good the food might be on occasion. I hope they can turn it around . read more

Absolutely satisfied customcer my all time favorite is the crab fried rice...tummy for my tummy. It is well worth the price loaded with crab and the veggies makes it an enjoyable meal read more

So went there for lunch and happy hour today. Amazing food and happy hour prices. I highly recommended the dragon wings or the jalapeño cheese balls. $6 each. $3 domestic beers and $4 well drinks. But what we really like is the service. Our bartender Mira is always awesome and funny. Issac is always nice and seems to go out of his way to help with things needed. All of the bartenders and servers seem to really like the atmosphere and their coworkers. We'll be eating here for years to come. read more

The food here is awesome. I have tried almost everything. The one star is for the service. Yes, it's that bad. I live not 2 miles away and avoid this place like the plague. Even calling in for take-out is the absolute worst experience. Sad really. They are the only good neighborhood eats. But I take my business elsewhere. Plan on waiting at least 90 minutes for take out and 2-3 hours for sit down service. read more

It's ok. I was not that impressed with the food. The atmosphere is nice but I expected better Thai food!

I went to dinner here today and it was so bad our server Cody barley checked up on us our food took over 45 mins to come out. I was surprised with how slow the service was considering there was more staff there than customers and they served our food at different times which made everyone more hungry and very disappointed when the food finally did arrive. read more

I have to say that I have been a great customer and advocate for Grapow for some time. I always tell my friends how great the Mission Grove location is as I frequent it. Today is was so disappointed in not only the service but one of the policies that are in place. We specifically go for happy hour as the prices are great. Except for the fact that you say on your happy hour menu that import drafts are 3.00 dollars and charge 4.00 for Dos Equis. I thought that was not a problem. What's one buck! Today I went in and had an order of chicken wings and Jalapeño Cheese Balls. Loved them both as I always have. As I am having my beer, my wife sends me a text to bring home some edamame and chicken wings. So I tried to order the edamame and wings and I am told that I cannot take the order of wings to go. I asked why and I was told that since the wings are on the happy hour menu, they could not be taken out. (Must be a reason for that). So, I then said that I will pay full price for the cost of the wings and was told I still could not order them to go. Are you guys so busy that now you refuse to sell to go food at full price???? I was once a happy customer, but not so much now. I've met the owner a few times, seems like a nice guy, but maybe someone needs to explain to him about good customer service. Has anyone else had this experience?? Just wanted some wings for my wife. P.S. to top it off it was already after 6:00 pm which is when the happy hour prices are over. read more

Always great food and friendly service. The best times to go are for their lunch specials- before 2pm or happy hour from 3-6. $6 appetizers and $3 small beers make this my go to spot and never disappoints. Try their sushi rolls too for a fresh and yummy snack!! read more

I have 2 stars only because we love the food here but the service is TERRIBLE!!! After 20 minutes we're still waiting for water and someone to take our order. If they improve their service, maybe we will be back but this is the third time we've experienced this so we probably will stay away in the future. read more

It's good thai yai yai food I do the like.i will do the come back neck thime.good food

I was very dissatisfied with my experience here. I called to order to go and when I went to pick up my order I didn't receive everything I ordered even though I payed for everything so I had to drive all the way back to pick it up and then all the way back home and I realized they gave me the wrong order, after calling back, they wouldn't give me what I originally had ordered, service was horrible, the food wasn't even good, would never go back! read more

We came here for dinner on several different occasions, food is good , however service is horrendous, half our dinner order comes out at different times , wrong orders, seems to be on going issues. We won't be patronize this establishment again. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. Food was tasteless and service was horrible horrible horrible. Ordered 3 glasses of wine dumbass waitress brought 4 and carried them out in her arms against her chest. Like she was carrying firewood. Disgusting! Two other tables left because the waitress was so horrible. They should be ashamed of them selves and this waitress should be fired!!!!! read more

Food is excellent however the service is VERY slow. It took 30 minutes to get our lunch yesterday and then our server abandoned us.

We walked in and i didn't have a very good vibe about the bartenders. We ordered our drinks my daughters gave $8 tip for 2 drinks and then a dark head girl on Wednesday night asked if we even started a Tab we said noone asked us here's the card put it on this she shoved it to us like those are gonna be our only drinks. It is only 10 o'clock at night so we didnt sign it yet and we left it open we were sure we were going get another drink. Then she is Said you never signed this credit card we said well we added Other wines on it already do you want to add it on there she said no we will close this out and get you another ticket. Which we did not have to tell her about but we were honest and we did. Well we paid that ticket too and tipped again even though she was rude. And as we're trying to finish our wines the dark haired girl pushed over another ticket to pay again for the two wines. My daughter said I just signed and paid for these and tipped. She said where is your copy? My daughter said I left it with the other copy but you should have your copy you ran it and I signed it. The bartender then accused us of not paying that ticket and pushed it to us the sign again. My daughter being a restaurant manager was amazed and was very upset how this could appen. The bartender didn't even let us finish our wine that we paid for and tipped for and had security take us out lol. This is so unbelievable I've owned a bar Be 4 and this was just unbelievable. And my Daughter being a manager of a restaurant and to be treated so disrespectfully by this young Punk badtender was so crazy. I told my daughter I didn't like this place from the beginning she said its cool no problem. Then it ended up like this such a shame it could have been a great place but bad service and attitude and bartender so sad. Honest people to be degraded like this is just unbelievable. read more

Awesome food. Only think I didn't like was that the patio smells like smoke from the bar patrons. Just sit inside and you will love it.

My family ordered take out from Grapow on 2/23/18. We called in the order and was told it would be ready in 35 minutes which was understandable for a Friday night. When I went down to pick up the order there was about 4 other people ahead of me to also pick up to go orders. I stood there for about 20 minutes before someone from the staff asked me for my name. I could hear the people ahead of me complaining about the fact they were only taking cash as payment. As the worker brought out my food he gave me the total ($43 somewhere in the range) and said he was only excepting cash as payment. I asked when the machine was going to be up for payment he said "it will be down for the rest of the night ". This was about 6pm that place was packed with people and when the employees was asked all of these people in here all have cash to pay their bills he said Yes. After telling him that did not have cash he then to told me we are only excepting cash he told me to go to the bank and withdrawal cash and return! I told him to go ahead and keep the food that I was leaving and he then told me that I could return the next day to pay and inconvenience me when their computer issue wasn't my fault. This use to be a good place to eat but after they expanded their location possibly changed management this place has gone down hill BIG TIME ! The service has gone out the window and to be honest the quality of the food has gone down as well. If you are looking to eat there I would tell you to go else where. I'm sure no one from there will contact me, because why would they care about a review if they really don't care about you when you are actually in the restaurant? This will most likely be the last time we eat at Grapow ! I only gave them a 1 star because you can't do anything less ! read more

Best Thai place in town in my eyes, I've gone to many places but tend to get sick for some reason but this place never have had issue. Anything you order will be delicious. The quality of food does not change regardless of its take out or dining. Highy recommend read more

I would have given this place 5 but, I pre ordered my desert and they ran out due the negligence of the wait staff not putting my order in properly so the not getting my dessert for my mom and me the day before Mother's Day when we are celebrating Mother's Day was a big letdown! the mango sticky rice is one of her favorite desserts on top of it all there was numerous problems with our meal this evening I had to ask for the chili tray numerous times and finally I had to get up and get it on my own ,my order was incorrect I ordered the green curry with shrimp and chicken and my order only came with chicken but I have to give kudos on the food was is was scrumdiddlyumptious just very disappointed in the service. For appetizers we had the chicken satay and I have to say it was not very appetizing it needed to be cooked more. The egg rolls are absolutely stupendous. More towards the end of the meal the service started kicking up and it was nice the waiter put the heaters out on the patio for us to make it so warm and comfy. The author of green tea ice cream on him that was absolutely wonderful. Dylan our waiter ended up being wonderful at the end of service. We were very cold on the patio so he put up the heaters. us. So overall this evening hasn't been so bad in the beginning it was very choppy and but now I am ok so I will give it 4 stars instead of 2 like I was originally going to. read more

I really liked it here. A really good place just to meet someone. The food was very good and the staff was pleasant.

I have never had worse service. Our party left after waiting 1.5 hours for our meals. They still charged us for the 2 appetizers we ordered. I've had the food there, it had been good till recently. I don't know what had changed but it is not good. read more

As far as sushi goes the price to quality is fair. Rolls are good, however for my sashimi (tuna) the fish wasn't so fresh. The quality however was not the largest issue as was the wait time for the sushi. On the positive note the restaurants environment is pleasant and clean. The bar has plenty games on TVs. read more

They need a complete overhaul of their customer service - some of the worst I've ever experienced. Takes 20 minutes to (hopefully) put in a drink order. Ridiculous. read more

The food is consistently good at Gra Pow. I have tried the Pad Thai, Yellow Curry Chicken, Chicken with Green Beens and the Tom Yum Soup. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and delicious. The only downside is the service- not so consistent. The servers share tables, and frequently ignore customers. I usually have to ask for refills and the check. read more

4 Stars based on the food. 2 Stars based on service. The place is under staffed. They had one guy serving, greeting, etc. Price is to high. I like the food a lot and can deal with the "nice" bad service. But the price will keep me away. The prices could be 1/3 lower. I bet they have a very high rent due to the prime beach location. I will go back at some point just not soon! read more

I love Gra Pow... although some of the items are pricey, the food is delicious! If you want authenic Thai food, this place is probaly not for you, but if you want really , really good food then stop by! I love the cashew chicken entree, its so delicious, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Also their salsa and chips are the BEST...yes salsa and chips at a Thai restaurant! read more

We just went to Grapow for the first time and we'll definitely be going back. My husband and I had the Orange Chicken and Cashew Chicken take-out specials. So delicious! Better than any dishes by this name that we've ever had anywhere else. The food was so fresh and light with amazingly tasty sauces. The restaurant is very nicely appointed, not a typical take-out joint. Can't wait to try some of their other menu items. Do wish they had their menu online since we like to do take-out. read more

This place is the best. The flavors are outstanding. It is by far the best restaurant in Orangecrest.

weathers looking good, grapow thai is up at bat. the pitcher looks back, looks forward, throws a pad thai and grapow knocks it outta the park! home run!!! this place is a total charm. gotta love it read more

First off, this place is one of the best places to have Thai food in Riverside. Rich dark colors that make it a wonderful place to have dinner or lunch with your friends, romantic enough in its darker ambiance at night for a date. The seating arrangement that is offered at Gra Pow is also varied enough, there is a patio area outside, a bar area so you can watch your games and a healthy amount of tables and booths to meet your seating preference. I'm a booth person so I have to have my booths. On to food - The food here is beautifully presented with some menu items that harken to its authentic Thai roots such as Mee Mee Noodle (a pink noodle dish with tofu that is flavored with coconut milk) that most Thai restaurant do not offer in their menus. It is one of my favorite childhood meals growing up in Thailand as a child and I was very happy to see it offered at Gra Pow. Though not as perfect as one you'd get in Thailand itself, it suffices to capture the general essence of the dish and the nostalgia it provides. There are some non-traditional fusion choices in there, but you have to be realistic, this is a Thai Restaurant in America, so the menu items have to branch out a bit and some of the dishes have been tamed to ease people into the pallet of Thai food. Service was warm and welcoming, I never have to wait long for my seating, its almost as if that's their aim at the restaurant to try to seat their customers as soon as possible. Some nights it does get PACKED in there, but they are much more reasonable than other establishments that close off entire sections and make you wait to be seated (like many American places such as Red Lobster and what not). The effort to seat customers and the busy-bodied movement of the place makes it lively and gives meaning to the ambiance, its a popular place after all. Here's what surprises me the most about Gra Pow, the professional but friendly service that is given to the customers. It is more than obvious when you've head in there a few times to catch the waiters and waitresses greeting some of their clients by name and catch up, its heartfelt to have someone remember your name and just say hello to you with a smile as you head in to have your meal. I love to head into Gra Pow whenever I get there chance to, though sometimes it might appear discouraging to new customers to see a big line of people waiting to be seated, that alone should make you realize that if someone else is waiting there just like you to be seated, the experience of this place must be worth something to try. I'm not surprised that Gra Pow is one of the most popular places to have Thai food in Riverside. read more

The food is good, and I guess that is the most important thing. We tried the shu mai (pork and shrimp dumplings), pad see ew (flat noodles), and sticky fried rice with 2 kinds of shrimp, Thai ice tea, sweet sticky rice with mango for dessert. Everything was great. The service was fair to good. The ambience is nice. It is dark with some asian decorations. Outside seating, bar, TV screens with sports playing. I would say this restaurant is geared toward Americans and Koreans, as opposed to being "authenthic" Thai. Caucasian waiters, and I was the only asian customer there. The owner is clearly Korean, with ads for Korean beer and soju all over the place. They also have sake and some of the dishes are more Chinese (Hong Kong style). read more

I have recently went here and everything was great! No problems food was wonderful and service is outstanding! My waitresses/waiters were very helpful! So I just have to comment on how people are really bashing this Restaurant. I wonder if they have the right place?!? Because what people are saying on here is just outrageous, the location of gra pow is not a dive or a hole in the wall, it is a nice location in riverside, the food I feel is fairly priced, and like I said before service is great, I never sit and wait for anything and the waiters are nice and never rude, I find it very upsetting people are so negative about this place. There is never a time during lunch that I have to wait longer than 10-15 mins for my food. Dinner shift is a little longer because this location is so busy on the weekend, and it is something to be said if they are so busy on the weekend right?!? Guessing other people love this place as well. There is a line for a table some Fridays and Saturdays that I have come in. The owner Patrick and Gigi are very nice and very welcoming as well. I have no complaints, and again I find it sad how people are reviewing this place. It is a treasure to have grapow in riverside. I have recommended this to friends and family and they love it and and they recommend to their friends and family. So I needed to rant and saying positive things because there is unfair and negative reviews that I find wrong and just not right. read more

This place is the greatest. I just celebrated my engagement party here on 11/17/2012. I could not have asked for more. They went above and beyond what I was expecting. Even the owners were on site making sure everything was perfect. We had a party of 40 and everyone was ranting and raving about the food and service. I could not express how much I appreciated all the staff at GraPow. If you have never been here then this is a MUST go even if you live far away. You will not find a friendlier staff and greater food elsewhere........ read more
