Being a new mom is stressful enough so having a safe and comfortable environment, staff, and team of doctors to turn to for the care of your child means so much to me. The front desk is really helpful and goes above and beyond every time I'm there with my baby! Felicia went above and beyond to approve my baby formula and gave us samples to help during the approval process. Also our first doctor, Dr. Lateesa, is so patient and kind and simply walks me through the process step by step every time I'm there. I am so happy that I chose GPM Pediatrics for my baby's care. Amazing office Front staff are always so helpful. Doctors are really caring and always available! Yes there is sometimes a wait, but we are never rushed and our kids get taken care of properly and that's what is important. If you call the office in advance and ask how the wait is? They will communicate with you. Overall the care we get at GPM is great. read more

I love GPM and the staff...however, I'm sad to hear nurse Alexa is no longer working there. She went above and beyond to answer any questions I had for my daughter in the office and out of the office. I was able to reach out to her any time of day and knew I would have an answer. We've been going to gpm for over 15 years. The doctors and nurse practitioners and nurses are wonderful. Front office staff need training to be more professional. I understand they deal with difficult people. But there really is no reason to be rude to clients. Everytime we go the front office staff is different, maybe that is why? They just can't find decent staff/good help? I don't even mind the wait to see a doctor or NP because they are all excellent, but dealing with the girls in front/office staff ruins the whole experience read more

As like many other reviews, the wait time is horrendous. I had a 4pm sick visit and my child was not seen until 5:30pm. I go this office to see 1 nurse practitioner in particular because my child loves her but the wait is too long. They have a terrible system. I found their zero talent sign to be hilarious since they can't even follow "being on time". If you are looking for a pediatric office, DO NOT go to GPM unless to have 1.5 - 2 hours to waste - even if your child is sick. read more

We have been going to this practice for 15 years. Changes in the office staff and changes in the office in general have made this a place where it is extremely difficult to bring children. When we go there, they tell us we are first or second in place, and then we wind up seeing person after person continually go in front of us, and we are left there waiting with our sick child for hours at a time. They come up with excuses as to why they are letting people in front of you, and the office staff does not really give a damn how you or your child feel. They laugh, and then make you wait. With what should be an experience of no more than an hour, you could be in this place for up to 3 hours. If you don't have hours to sit and wait with a sick child, I suggest you try to find another place to go. What was once a warm, welcoming place, is no more, and it is very dissapointing. read more

Wait times were upwards of two hours like others said, parking was also difficult to find. But that's not the worst part. I took my child in for well child checkups and was charged as sick visits (child was not sick). They were more interested in collecting the co-pays and lab fees from me, very unethical medical practice. The doctors didn't take any blood or urine samples, so I was ripped off twice. Wish I knew about the name change from Gabriel Pediatrics to GPM from the fraud scandal ahead of time. read more

The most recent one was for a referral and when I called they said come in, no wait. But still waited 2 hours. Not convenient at all. Yes, the wait is long. Bring snacks, an IPad, and lots of toys. I owe my life to Dr. Gabriel. I knew since birth there was something wrong with my son, but no one believed me. I brought my son to Dr. Gabriel. He instantly started to make changes to his diet and I saw an immediate change. He is thorough and leaves noting to chance. My son was diagnosed as autistic, and with Dr. Gabriel's guidance, he is thriving, speaking perfectly and gave us our life back. He is truly dedicated. I now have another child and Dr. Gabriel and staff are wonderful. I have some health issues myself and are aware of that and look to help us every step of the way. read more

Been going there since my daughter was 3. Over the years we went once a year but sometimes it's been more than 12 months between appointments. Once we skipped a year as we were overseas. Every time I called to make an appointment they'd grill me on what doctor my daughter has been seeing since the last appointment and I tell them none, she has not been sick. Last time it was 15 months between appointments and they told me that her file had been archived and they did not want her as patient any more. 12 years we'd been going to this practice. Even after that fraud scandal where the doctor was jailed. To be told "get lost' because clearly we don't represent enough revenue for them is truly an eye opener. Be prepared to wait 2 hours just to be seen by an average, run-of-the mill pediatrician, the likes of which you can visit anywhere else for a much shorter wait time. A friend of mine had an early morning appointment for her son to take a fasting blood test and they had been waiting so long, her son passed out from going too long without eating. Parking is also ridiculously difficult to find in the surrounding area (not abnormal to spend 30-40 minutes just looking for parking). Harvard-trained surgeons, these are not, so I don't get why it's always such a difficult and time-consuming process just to get your child seen expeditiously by a pediatrician at this practice. read more

My two sons have been coming to this practice since they were born. One of my son had low iron levels on his last blood draw. We wanted to have his blood tested for iron to see if it is back to norma or not. We have been making appointments for him to tag along with my younger son, who is going for well visits every 3 months. Since my older kid is in day care for the first year, he always had a runny nose or a cough most of the year. We had to cancel and reschedule 3x for the blood draw because the doctor would say we should wait until he's well. So we were charged for a sick visit each time even tho the doctor did not do anything with my older son, since he was tagging along w my younger son for a well visit. Each time I paid because that was the rule. Now after a year. I have a bill for $60 because they said I did not pay any of the copay even tho I clearly remember I did. I don't like having a balance so I made sure I paid. I did not save any receipts and I paid cash. Now we are stuck paying twice for services we did not receive. The doctors here have a high turnover rate. We like some doctors and others were just a waste of our time. We like the convenience of the location since we live a few blocks away. Been going here for both of my kids since birth (now 3 and 6). The doctors are fine but can't say the same about the rest of the staff or my experience there. Even if you have an appointment you need to expect to wait at least 2 hours before its all said and done. Out of those 2 hours you get to see the doctor for maybe 5 minutes if that. Does not feel very personal at all. As working parents we have limited free time and spending 2 hours AFTER I already made an appointment is just absurd. To be honest there really isn't any difference if you have an appointment or if you just walked in from my experience. Again this doesn't reflect the doctors capabilities there but rather the whole experience for me and my children. read more

We absolutely love this practice and especially my son's doctor, Dr. Zachilli. Sometimes there is a long wait but it depends on the time your appointment is. We find that lunch time is typically the best. One thing that I absolutely love is that there are always doctors available 24/7 for whatever your child needs. I've had a lot of emergency phone calls with them as a first time mom and it's been incredible to have them so available. I'm very glad we chose them! read more

Good doctors, courteous staff, and a well kept office, but expect to wait anywhere between 60 to 90 minutes even when you have an appointment. We have been here probably more than 3 dozen times and it's been the same every single time, weekdays or weekends. If you're a working parent, you'd better take a half day off when visiting this office. read more

I've been taking my daughter since was born. Dr. Perrone is an amazing doctor and has always taken genuine interest in my daughter. We started going to the Staten Island location, but when we we moved to Brooklyn, I was happy we were still able to see her! Even some of the other girls work both locations and have been happy to see my daughter as she grows and my daughter loves them! I recommend this place (especially Dr. Perrone) to anyone who needs a doctor who genuinely cares about their kids! read more

Hands down the best practice ever! I will wait two hours so my son could see Dr. Gabriel although the rest of his medical staff is totally competent. I saw his dad when I was a kid and my entire family comes to him. I trust him completely. I wish we didn't have to move to California so I could continue to have my son under his care. He's so caring he told me I could call him anytime I have questions and I have called him while living over here. Dr. Gabriel has always returned my call even when it's 9pm and he's home eating his dinner. What doctor does that?!!! This man who is kind, knowledgeable and selfless and puts his little patients first. He administers vaccines on a delayed schedule so not to put your child at risk for bad reactions. They have sick and well waiting areas which are on opposite sides of the practice. Choose this practice you will not be disappointed. read more

To many problems arising , many of their diagnosis are wrong and they do not keep in touch. I have to constantly call for test results and the staff is usually unpleasant on the phone. They are getting paid to do their job, I should not have to hound them. How long do I have to wait to get a prescription? It should not be a week. I should not be getting a call back at 9:30 pm when I have been calling since 9am. Here goes another day that my daughter will not have her prescription. Truly lousy service. read more
