Bend Electric also upgraded the circuit to code (maybe the reason for the failure of a 20 year old 200 foot cable) and added an electric vehicle charging station. Can't say enough positive things about their guys. Shaun and his two electricians (Ben and Colton) blew me away with their professionalism, quality and speed of their work. There is no question that we will call them for service next time we need help.

This specific config isn't super common; power management group both wall chargers dynamically sharing the same 60 amp circuit. High Lakes Electric knew exactly what this setup was and quickly got me scheduled. Installation went very smoothly and both chargers worked as expected dynamically splitting the load across the 60 amp circuit. Eventually I plan on adding powershare once it becomes available in Bend, and I know who I will be contacting for the installation!

Great to have on your side when it counts, and when you really need a plumber, believe me, that is when it counts! Thanks Travis, Bryan and Josh, without whom the repair would not have been possible. (Stripped, but half open, corroded cartridge retaining nut requiring close quarters, below deck work on a Roman tub on the Butte. No water condition until temp fix. Eventually, fully repaired, while I was out of town.) Max (ops mgr) answered the phone on Sunday, even though I just wanted to leave a message. He ordered the parts and came out and repaired the faucet in a very timely manner. Works great. Also noticed toilet running and replaced flapper as part of his full service!! He also diagnosed our Kohler kitchen sink and replaced a cartridge for us. In addition he said to call Kohler for another part that they will send for free rather than us paying him to do it. Pricing for repairs was reasonable, especially because we thought we were going to have to replace entire faucet in bathtub by tearing out tile to get to controls.

And that's fine except I got a charged an hour for drive time for him to measure. And there was no appointment scheduled for that. 2. Then he came out the next morning and measured why do I have to pay twice for that? That's a pretty expensive billing rate and then you get paid an hour drive time for the day they do the work on your house at very expensive rates.. 3. The inspector came by to do the inspection, and I had to end up, caulking for them. The bill was about 3 to 500 more than I would've expected . They did hit another line and they did repair it without charging me for that and he was nice enough to let me know the wire and everything I need for my hot tub, so there were some good and bad takeaways.

The work was completed well, and I'm happy with the outcome. When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

** one star and unfortunately, it's well deserved **…read more Our experience with Severson Plumbing started with an issue involving our sewer tank and work that was already covered under the company's warranty. You would think resolving an issue with previously warranted work would be relatively straightforward. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The first point of contact was Stephanie, and dealing with her was like pulling teeth. Her communication was consistently rude and unprofessional. On two occasions, information provided to us was simply not accurate, and that same misinformation was apparently relayed to Jason Severson, the owner, who was out of town at the time. I understand that people travel and take time away from work. However, when a customer has an unresolved warranty issue, some level of communication and follow through should still be expected. After waiting more than two weeks, Jason finally returned my call. Unfortunately, rather than taking the time to understand what had happened, acknowledge the frustration or make an effort to resolve the situation, he came into the conversation without having the facts straight. What followed was even more disappointing. The conversation was condescending, dismissive, and completely lacking in any meaningful effort to understand or address the underlying issue. Rather than taking ownership and trying to find a resolution, Jason spoke down to me and ultimately hung up on me. Let that sink in. This is the owner of the company. Customer service starts with the first person who answers the phone, and it certainly doesn't improve when the matter reaches ownership. Mistakes happen. Warranty issues happen. What distinguishes a reputable business is how it responds when something goes wrong. In our experience, neither the initial customer service nor the owner's response demonstrated the professionalism, accountability, or basic courtesy that customers should expect. I'm leaving this review because I believe other homeowners in our community deserve to know what our experience was like before choosing this company. I would not recommend Severson Plumbing & Mechanical. The issue itself was frustrating, but the way we were treated throughout the process was ultimately what made this experience so disappointing.
