This was our first time to stop here. It was very early win the morning so there were not many around. The restrooms were clean and well cared for. The entrance and exit drives are long so it is easy to get in and out. There seems to be more than adequate parking places for cars, trucks as well as RV's. It is a very large area with lots of clean picnic tables to sit and enjoy a meal. This will be a regular stop when we travel through this area.

Dog walk at the start of the downhill

I like this rest area because it has a great dog walk that is mostly shaded by the trees, and has a great perfectly sized little hill to go up and down. He is getting good at finding his way back to the car from farther distances. It is said that Minpins don't come back, but from my limited experience with mine; that certainly does not seem the case. I lost consciousness again last night, and I can not tell you how fantastic he was at helping me. This time he was trembling horribly, but he kept his composure, and was A+ perfect with absolutely every tiny thing. Our first big experience with me needing help, and it went better than I could have imagined at this point in time. I could not be happier/more thankful/grateful, and proud. It's a little spread out for Parking which I enjoy. Has lots of trash cans, and a lot of snack and drink options.

This place could do with a little bit of an update. It's quaint enough. Nice place for you and your doggo to stop and tinkle. Some of the vending machines take debit/credit cards as well as cash, which is convenient. Usually a security guard on the grounds. Easy to get in and out of the rest stop and back onto the road.

Went here for the lore of it all. This place is huge. Is it a gas station or a grocery store or a…read moremall? The answer is yes. Their marketing is too notch, I don't think it's possible to walk out of there without some sort of souvenir. It's well lit. They have Buc-ee's children's books, Buc-ee's swimsuits, Buc-ee's everything. I walked out with an assortment box of fudge, cotton candy-watermelon,strawberry banana, and regular. Watermelon one taste like it was made with the baby bottle pop watermelon dip power-amazing. The strawberry banana actually tasted like individual flavors coming together the banana flavor imitated the banana laffy taffy I was impressed, and they were like only $2. They have rock candy suckers here! You don't see those everywhere, they feel like a cannon event. I noticed they have a huge deli Jekry style. A whole bakery fudge style. And the people that work there in cowboy hats which I thought was really cute. Was it worth the hype? Sure. Be prepared to spend at least an hour on your port break during a road trip. The view at the pump is beautiful as are most views in Tennessee. Saw some things I've never seen before even in the checkout line, energy packs that look like zyns. And specialty mints in interesting flavors.

This is my first and possibly last Bucee's experience…read more Outside: YES--Cheapest gas--a full $0.70 cheaper than any other stations along the highway!!! That alone was worth the stop, but the rest of the experience was less than expected. By the pumps, there are no windshield washer squeegees anywhere, so you cannot clean the bugs off of your windshield. The pay-at-the-pump interface was frustrating. It would not accept my Discover card. I used my Visa, and it locked into selling me only 15 gallons. The only great part of the refueling experience was the price and the zero wait for a pump because they have so many of them. Also, this location has a car wash, and the purchase option was imbedded in the gas purchase--I didn't want it, but accidentally got it. I guess that would be one way to clean the windows, but be aware as you're trying to buy gas. Inside: The inside is huge. It's like someone took a Walmart and placed restrooms and food kiosks in the center of it. The women's bathroom was awesomely clean. It's huge with individual doored stall-rooms along the walls with green (open) and red (busy) lights above the door, so you can quickly find a stall that's open. The entire center of the bathroom is full of sinks/soap/paper towels. It was spotlessly clean and the highlight of the whole experience. Food: Having seen another Yelp review, we got 2 XXL BBQ Brisket sandwiches and Buc-ee's chips and 2 $0.99 fountain drinks. We also picked up a small bag of chocolate covered pretzels. That lunch cost us $41, and there was nowhere to sit to eat it. The expectation is that you go back out to your car to eat. After being in the car for 6 hours, I didn't want to eat in the car, so we found a lamppost in the shade that we used as a "table" and stood to eat. Service: Everyone working at this location was helpful and friendly, so the service is great. Recommendation: If you are looking for a clean bathroom and cheaper gas--this is an awesome place to stop!! Of course, the cheaper gas price is how they draw you in, then they make up the loss in inside sales, especially food. There are many food choices, which is also good, as long as you intend to eat in the car. If you get the BBQ sandwich, I would get the one without the sauce.

I really appreciated that they even provide disinfectant and cleaning products so you can wipe down the toilet seat before using it--a small detail that shows they care about cleanliness. The selection of food and drinks is outstanding. Whether you're looking for hot meals, fresh sandwiches, cold grab-and-go items, snacks, or desserts, there's something for everyone. The coffee station is impressive too, with so many creamers, flavors, and toppings that you can customize your drink just the way you like it. I also loved the fresh roasted nuts--warm pecans, cashews, and other varieties that smelled amazing and tasted fresh. The store itself is huge and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling crowded. As an EV owner, I was especially happy that I could charge my Ford F-150 Lightning while taking a break. Being able to recharge both myself and my truck in one stop made the experience even better. Overall, Buc-ee's is much more than a gas station--it's a clean, convenient, and enjoyable travel stop. If you're passing by, it's absolutely worth stopping.
