Great spot for an overnight! Peeked into the laundry room which had several washers and dryers. Ladies restroom looked like it has been updated with nicely tiled showers and new curtains. My husband said the men's needed updating. I gave it three stars because I feel it's still a bit of a diamond in the rough. However, I can see work is being put into the campground and facilities. For an overnight, it was perfect!

You have to clean everything and remove the trash using your own trash bags. If you choose not to use a caterer be prepared to work every aspect of your event As it is an enclosed tent setting for the building, using this facility during hot months is not recommended

Now that we are back the ground is dry and though it's hot and humid we realize this place is due for four rather than three stars based on comparisons of other parks. We also noted this time they have 90' pull-throughs here. Original review: We recently retired and we met friends here to borrow a truck and trailer and learn to use it so we stayed a week.  The staff are quite nice and helpful. The sites are all in the open and level, and I think they are all full service.  The place is quiet other than muted train rumbling that I've only noticed if I was already up.  They have a small playground in very good condition though I've seen few kids here.  They have a laundromat and shower building that is sanitized daily though we have a washer dryer and have yet to look at their facility.  We plan to return at the end of our trip.

The owner and his grandson were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, greeting us personally and making sure we had everything we needed--even sharing a personal phone number in case we needed anything. The gravel sites are well-maintained and spacious; ours was a generous 32'x60' and backed up to peaceful trees. Full hookups with 50/30 amp shore power made setup easy. The park is clean and quiet, with a small general store onsite that the owner offered to open if we needed anything. Pet owners will appreciate the nice dog park, and while we didn't use the shower room or laundry facilities, they're available for guests. It's also conveniently close to Bankhead National Forest, making it a great base for exploring the area. We spoke with a few extended-stay guests who had nothing but praise for the park and its management. Overall, a great spot with genuine Southern hospitality. Highly recommend!

Being right in downtown makes it easy to step out for dinner, coffee, or a quick wander, while still driving out to explore the rest of the area. It feels central, intentional, and elevated without trying too hard. The suite is where it really shines. It has the polish of a boutique hotel but the space of an Airbnb. Separate living area, king bed that feels indulgent, private balcony, and design details that actually feel curated. Plush robes, premium bath products, Dyson hairdryer, stocked minibar, a mini refrigerator AND freezer, two oversized smart TVs, fast WiFi. Nothing feels like an afterthought. And I have to mention the Nespresso machine. Not a Keurig. A Nespresso. Morning coffee felt like a ritual, not a compromise. Dinner downstairs at Jubilee Kitchen and Bar made the stay even better, and we absolutely visited Seven Daughters Scoops more than once. It was very interactive (or you could choose to be shy-lol). It is for everyone whether you are a showboat or a wall flower. The food was good and the service was well constructed as to timing and presentation. Arlington House is worth the visit. Very nicely kept and interesting. I will be doing another Southern Ghost Girls Tour in the near future. Don't wait as long as I did!

Somehow I even talked 3 of my friends into going since it was my birthday weekend. 5 stars all the way!!! These are fun an interactive. If you ever wondered how the ghost hunters use their equipment, this is the tour for you! We got lucky at the Lowry house with lots of activity, and at one point my name came through the spirit box. That was spooky! Can't wait to do another!
