Today we purchased stuffed clams, crab cakes, and a large salmon fish head. We roasted the fish head spiced with fresh parsley, curry, salt, pepper, dill, and lemon juice along with heirloom tomatoes. See photo for picture. Yes, the salmon head was enough for two at lunchtime. We loved it! We are having the crab cakes and stuffed clams tonight. The seafood department is a favorite of ours, but let's not forget about others at this fine store. Fresh produce is always just as they claim--fresh! The selection is broad. The meat and deli departments are noteworthy--varied cuts of beef, poultry selection galore, sliced cheeses/meats, and unique salads. Note that homemade shrimp salad is at the seafood counter. Fresh-baked desserts, wide frozen dessert and shelves stacked full of dry goods makes Weis ideal for your shopping pleasure.

Also whenever I ask if they're ready they tell me "no sorry" without even checking! I didn't give you a name so how do you know they're not ready and why is everyone in front of my picking their photos up ? Terrible place. You're better off spending more money at CVS atleast you'll get your pictures in a timely matter.

I had turned around to consult with my son about New Years dinner. I told her I was just about to close it, and she said yeah right, do you do that at home. I admit she hit a nerve I've worked in customer service for 35 years, and I never thought it was alright to make inappropriate comments to customers. I wanted to hit her, but I didn't. I worked on Christmas in a store that is essential, and is open 24/7- 365, (I work every holiday, full shifts, unless it falls on Saturday or Sunday) we were slammed on Christmas and understaffed, and then I had to go home and cook Christmas dinner. But telling me she had to work on Christmas because of a refrigeration issue because of people like me was not the way to go. I shop at Giant because I don't like the cocky attitude And lack of customer service at WALMART. Seriously, I am in there once a week. Typically, on Saturday so I seriously doubt that I had anything to do with the issue that caused her to have to work on Christmas. She is on the clock being paid to be nice, it is part of the job. I would have never gotten so upset, had she kept her comments to herself, or at least muttered them under her breath to herself.
