I've worked with Hear No Evil to record music several times over the course of the last few years…read moreand the experiene is always excellent. The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

As an artist paying for studio time, that's incredibly distracting and disrespectful. I did not feel valued as a client. After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...

Nice big room. Plenty of space for a large ensemble or a band and some spectators. Clean. Private…read more I was impressed. There's no other practice rooms, so you don't hear some other band pounding through the wall. You may hear some drum lessons or otherwise going on next door in the Rockstars school. (which this is part of - you go talk to them when you arrive) Our band plays pretty loud, and the PA could be heard clearly over the instruments. Actually, some of the clearest vocals we've had. Usually the smaller spaces cause too much feedback. This space allows you to spread out a little and keep the mic away from the speakers. We didn't use the backline gear aside from the PA, so no opinion there. Private restroom inside the unit is great, too. At some spots, you have to wait in line when you're in the middle of a rehearsal... paying by the minute to stand around. Private air conditioner was cool, too. (no pun) It kept the room comfy. All in all, great deal for a great space. We'll be back.

Frank's teaching style is very open and catered to the student and he makes learning very fun and is also very encouraging especially for beginners! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a drum teacher/lessons, Frank is very helpful and knowledgeable!

I am completely dumfounded that someone could leave a negative review of Frank's efforts in any…read morecapacity, whether they be studio drumming, lessons, recording--you name it. He is a consummate professional and one of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life, who makes this look easy (doing music professionally). The only people who would leave a negative review are posers and reverse-shills. Having worked with Frank in nearly every facet, short of being taught how to play drums (I have taught with him though for years), it goes without saying for me, that he is worth every star I just gave him, because that is what he is: a star and a sun. If you don't believe that as well, it is because you reside in the shadows, where you belong. A bright star casts a dark shadow, and there you are. Frank has played on many of my songs and has recorded and engineered on more songs than I can count well beyond my meager contribution to music as an art form. You don't need to take my word for it. Try him yourself, and then one will not be speaking from a place of ignorance, in the shadows.
