This place is pretty rad. They have instruments available and the guy Managing the place is really chill and pretty hilarious. My degenerate band went there to record. We got the back room and in a good space to make horrible music even though we had run a gauntlet of pop punk bands to get there. Have fun!!!!!!! read more

Been coming here a long time, I think 2006/2007. Riff Haus is a great place to rehearse, and they have the best prices around. They have decent gear available for you to use if you don't want to lug your own stuff and their PAs are good. Each room is a little different and they have a kickass stage room you can rehearse in if you're preparing for a big gig or want to make a music video. They have onsite recording services available through Fuel Music Studios that are good too. The place is friendly and has good vibes. Definitely recommend read more

This place is weak. Went to go see a friends band here, and it was super tiny. Literally the size of my room. The security guards are total jerks too. I laughed as I saw them grab 13-15 year old kids by the neck and act like they were tough, yelling in their face. (CAN THEY EVEN DO THAT?!) I've been invited numerous times to shows at this place and have denied it every time. Never going back there, not even if The Ramones came back from the dead to have a show there. read more

It has changed over the past few years since my last visit. The drum equipment was in horrible shape. Could not tighten the knobs on any of the cymbal stands, my standard clutch for the hi hat didn't fit, the toms were worn, out of tune and the kicker was peeling. The room was like a tool shack-no insulation bits pieces lying in the corners and the mics taped to the stands. The amps had a humm and you could see the wood all around the amp box. I went to pay and it was cash only-something he might have mentioned on the phone. A trashy excuse for a dog pound, we'll never go back. read more

Me and a few friends were bored and wanted to jam so we called this place up. It's nothing glamorous but they have everything you need. It's a cozy room so don't expect a big rehearsal area. They had the mics, guitars, drums, bass ready to jam. Service was great and the guys were incredibly helpful setting us up. Great people to be around. Def recommend this place if your a band wanting to jam and practice or if you just got that itch to jam it up. By the way reasonable in price I think it was $25 for 1 hour or $35 for 2 hrs and they only accept cash read more

The band has been practicing here for a few years now. It's a great, reliable place to jam. The owners and staff are awesome and very accommodating. Some rooms definitely sound better than the others and the provided equipment can be rough sometimes... but that's mostly the fault of the multitude of musicians that have come through there with a lack of respect for the equipment. I've been to several hourly studios in my nearly two decades as an active musician and this place is a cut above most of them. Though I haven't attended one yet, I think it's cool they put live shows on in the big room. It's also pretty sweet that it doesn't interfere with the hourly studio business. I've caught a few moments of sets from a few shows here and there. Seems like a good place to play, and a better set up than many of the dives and clubs I've experienced. I haven't utilized their recording studio or venue yet, so I can only speak to the rehearsal experience. Totally solid. read more

Pretty stoked to find this place. I moved from a house to an apartment 6 months ago and have mostly been playing through head phones...... bummer! Just put together a new pedal board and haven't been able to plug in. Called the number. Told the guy my situation, he gave me the info taylored to what I needed going in by myself. 10 an hour solo. Great deal to plug in. I got there at 5 and a guy named Adam was there. Friendly. He asked me what I needed. Me: electricity...... He asked if I needed a microphone? I sing first..... guitar second so..... Great news for me! Got me set up in a sound proof room . Had a great time playing and singing. When I was finished, Adam gave me the tour. Different sized rooms, at least one with a stage recording studio , and drum sets and other equipment to use. Will be back. read more

Decent sound, good equipment. I did not use their amp but they look okay. Guy upfront was helpful and friendly. They do not take debit or credit cards, only cash for payment so bring cash because they are located in a business area and a bank or ATM is not very close. read more

The smallest, most cramped and claustraphobic rehearsal studio I've ever been in, I didn't like the acoustics, the PA system was substandard, the bass drum had a big-ass hole in it; however, my bandmates said they liked it, so I guess that's cool. read more

This has quickly become a favored rehearsal studio for me after only a couple of visits. Rates seem reasonable, the rooms are much nicer than other places I've been, and it's close to some good drinking holes. I may be alone in my principals here, but I view a rehearsal studio as a workspace and not really a hangout spot or even something to be judged asthetically, but rather functionally. And this place functions for me and my bandmates pretty well. And the amps are cool too. My previous studio only had solid state Marshalls, which suck. This place has solid state Kustom, Randall, and Crate, which all sound cooler to my ears. read more

The only thing that keeps me from giving this place 5 stars is the security and size. The security during the times I went are either oblivious or get too touchy with people for stupid reasons. The size of this place is also too small and has very little ventilation. You'll have swamp ass by the end of the night if it's crowded. Other than that, the place does have its kickass perks such as no problems with stage diving and mosh pits and they don't rip you off for the much needed water. For those that want to protect their hearing, they also sell earplugs on site. Parking isn't much of a hassle either unless you get to the place late. Even though the place is close to the train tracks, most bands drown out the sound of their horns pretty damn well so you know the place is sick. read more

Had to do some mastering of me band's live show for our video. The audio had different problems that required a unique skill set to make it sound the best it could be.
