My favorite is the Pho 3 meatball and it's always very good and hot! this is very great since Pho is something more difficult to takeout. the staff is very nice and I would love to dine in soon! I ordered the vermicelli rice noodle bowl and omg it's delicious! I always order this dish in other restaurants who offer it. And let me tell you...it's either a hit or miss in flavor. But the sauce was good, the service was friendly, and the place is a nice quiet little nook next to the rusty belt. I would recommend this place to my vermicelli loving friends. I just ordered the short ribs and a thai sweet chili salad with chicken and they were all INEDIBLE so I threw them in the garbage! The chicken on the salad tasted like fish and I hate fish so this is disgusting. The ribs were so tough you could not even cut them with a sharp knife. They were tougher than shoe leather. Not even a dog could pull this meat apart. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! USE A PRESSURE COOKER or bake these low and slow until they're tender!!! I just spent $60 for GrubHub to deliver my meal and ALL of it is in the garbage! From now on, I will stick with their chicken pho and nothing else. Very expensive lesson learned. Now I sit here and wait for Domino's to deliver my pizza. FML! read more

I mean, this place is a gem. the broth that comes with the pho almost tastes like it's healing. I usually get Combo #5 and husband #1. We get the spring rolls which are good. Look, I'm something of a Pho snob. I've had pho all over the country, from the "best" places in LA to the middle of nowhere. Honestly, after a certain point of quality the only difference between really good pho is your own unique preferences. That's where Got Pho lives. It's on the top tier of Michigan locations for pho, difference between them is whatever tickles your tastebuds the most. Affordable top tier pho near me means I absolutely will frequent here. I'll gladly support them in the pandemic and if you like pho you should too. Side note, outside of pho I've also had: Thai tea (great tea but needs a straw that can pierce the plastic top!), and the sesame chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and seemed a bit different than the usual affair. Sweeter than normal and juicier (perhaps it was dark meat?). I recommend trying it if you're interested, I think it's worth getting again sometime in the future. read more

Wanting something new, my girlfriend and I ordered pho, spring rolls, pad pak, and vegetable curry, all vegan. The pho was pretty good -- for $11, it's a helluva lotta food. Noodles for days, and really nice and fresh produce. Most pho I've had is a lot of broth, but Got Pho puts a little more emphasis on everything else. Which, really, is probably not a bad thing.. the broth on its own is kinda bland. Thankfully they offer a hoisin-like sauce and red chili sauce to spruce things up. The vegetable curry is stupid good. A great flavorful curry with a low level of heat (for all ya more sensitive white folk out there!), and tons of vegetables.. of course. The spring rolls are a bit on the smaller side. I dunno what the hell they do to them, but they are TASTY. A little costly at $2 each, but they're worth it. Pad pak has a great char flavor to the vegetables -- really reminds me of Island Noodles, if you've ever had their pop up. Both dishes also come with a nutso amount of jasmine rice, so you'll be full for at least a couple meals. The curry and pad pak were only $10 each and came with three cups of rice each. The pho on its own is a very filling meal with super fresh produce. Vegan or not, Got Pho is damn good -- even if I think their pho may be their weakest menu item. read more

Got Pho is a decent place for Vietnamese, and being a Royal Oaker, I was really hoping for convenience, and excellence in food. Well, the convenience is there, but this restaurant is NO WHERE AS GOOD AS VIETNAMESE IN MADISON HEIGHTS. This is where the true authentic, and amazing food is! There is NO COMPARISON! Trust me. I tried the vermicelli noodles and they were bland and dry. You just don't get the aroma and complex tastes that you do at Vietnamese restaurants, like Little Saigon in Madison Heights. In addition, the Fresh Rolls were dried out and not that tasty at all. True fresh rolls should come with shrimp & Pork! Now here is the good news: Amazing Vietnamese restaurants are right near you! Dequindre and John R Road, have many good ones between 12&13 mile! Also, they are much cheaper and the portions are huge! I highly recommend Little Saigon or Que Huang. Right away, you will see how much more diverse the menu is! Try the Bun Hue, or the Vietnamese/French fusion sandwiches! You will get the best of both worlds! Also, the noodle soups (Pho) come with a plethora of Thai Basil and Lemon Grass! This is a must, if you are eating a noodle soup! I'm sorry, Got Pho, you need a lot of work to compete with restaurants, such as these! read more

Was wandering around downtown Ferndale and stumbled upon a patio with an open table! So we went in to grab menus and got to enjoy some beautiful weather outside. We ended up ordering the vermicelli rice noodle bowl and the pho 2! The food came out very quickly. The noodle bowl was stacked with marinated pork and a couple shrimpies, diced egg roll, lettuce sprouts cucumber carrots, and mint. With some peanuts and fish sauce on the side of course! Everything was fresh and honestly next time def adding more pork it was marinated to perfection! My husband had the Pho 2, packed with delicious beef meatball, steak, and brisket. Very large portions for an amazing price! Also our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Will be stopping by again! read more

As a Vietnamese adult who has grown up eating the best Pho on earth I must say, this place is spectacular! I've been a vegetarian the last 6 years and their vegan Pho is exceptional. The broth has love, not generic stock. Only place in the area that has shitaki mushrooms and bok choy included which is a wise and thoughtful consideration for those of us meat free. Also many places over the years get skimpy w the amount of noodles.....NOT HERE! My family still eats meat and they also really enjoyed themselves (I just can't testify to the details of their meals). I would recommend it to anybody. Ferndale finally has pho! Got Pho is great and makes it easy to assemble on your own when you take out. I was surprised by some other reviews who were upset by the meat being served raw when they got rare beef. THATS THE POINT! When you reassemble it, you make sure the broth is super hot and then it cooks it. Yum. I got the P5, pho with rare steak. I was impressed with their portion size too. I think a lot of pho places don't give you much beef but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount I received. I also enjoyed the fresh rolls and recommend anyone giving them a try as well! Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first. Not that I don't expect it to be bad, I just don't think it will taste authentic. The menu is varied enough, but not overwhelmingly big. Sometimes I hate going to a place with 20 pages menu as it feels very confusing. They serve mostly Thai and Vietnamese dishes, with some typical American-Chinese cuisine like sweet & sour and sesame chicken. My friend went for Pho 1 combo, which has meatball, brisket, tripe, tendon, and rare slices of beef. That's the way with pho, the meat became cooked as they pour the hot broth over it. I went for vermicelli salad instead. First of all, the portion was really generous. I got full even just by eating the toppings of my vermicelli salad and packed the rest home. The taste was very good though! And authentic. My shrimp was perfectly cooked and has this nice squidgy texture. They are not skimpy with the amount of shrimp. I personally would have loved it better if the tofu was just plain instead of fried, but I understand it works better for the overall dish. The deep-fried spring roll has a nice crispy outer layer without being too greasy, hence it still sticks to the light taste of the dish. The way I enjoyed it is I finish the whole topping first, leaving the vermicelli and the vegetables, which I then mix with the Nuoc Cham. The Nuoc Cham sauce gives the bowl a very refreshing taste--light, tangy, slightly sweet, and of course with a hint of umami from the fish sauce. Aside from the food, the service is very good. The place itself is clean and comfortable, definitely a nice place to grab a casual weekday dinner. read more

We decided to try this place, and my partner ordered the beef pho, I ordered the vegetarian pho. I am pescatarian and also ordered the shrimp spring roll. We received the carry out order...so much plastic. Not very environmental. There are many alternatives that are made from bamboo that actually grows in Vietnam. The spring rolls had shrimp...and pork. I accidentally ate a piece of pork. The spring roll was also too sticky, not like what I had in Vietnam. The vegetarian pho was flavorless. I couldn't finish. My partner liked his, but he asked for no cilantro and they added cilantro and he couldn't add the toppings. I tried to pick out the cilantro for him since cilantro tastes like soap to him. We love the Pho from here, and everything else has been great as well. It's nice that you can get some Thai type dishes to make everyone happy, but the Pho is obviously the showstopper. All through the pandemic we've been doing takeout from here, and I love that the broth comes separately and piping hot. My favorite is the Pho 2, everything but the tripe (which just isn't my thing), but my wife loves the #5, with just steak as the meat. So I have not tried pho from here yet. I had a Thai hankering and wanted to try somewhere new. I of course ordered crab rangoons. I noticed they were cheap so ordered 2 orders just in case there were only like 2-3 in an order. They were normal sized orders (5), just happened to be cheap. Awesome. And they were tasty! Good amount of filling and they were good size. Love the sauce that came with them as it tasted more like a chili sauce. For my entree, I ordered drunken noodles with chicken. I did find it odd that there was no spice option (this was on doordash). I thought it was cool that all the proteins cost the same -including shrimp or crab. The entree was $10 so I was expecting a medium size. Nope! This was a huge portion. I was disappointed in the lack of spice but I do realize I probably should have specified my spice level in the instructions since it didn't give me an option to do so. Stopped in during dream cruise and monthly trip to Health food store. 90 degrees outside, nice and cool inside, I ordered Pho # 1. My 1st Pho! I loved it! Nicely seasoned broth didn't taste MSG, the rice noodles were perfect the beef tender. I love anything in one bowl lately and it fit the bill. The table was set with various spicy sauces, jalapeños, bean sprouts and lime as topping. My daughter had drunken noodles chicken and was tasty as well. Service was fast and friendly however it was not busy. This experience inspires to try more Vietnamese spots in my neighborhood. read more
