Visited Got Lobstah a few times and love it. Most recently last night at the seafood festival in Johns Pass. We had a total of 4 lobster rolls (for research purposes) from 4 different food trucks and GL was the best of all 4! Also, service has ALWAYS been so nice! read more

We've had Got Lobstah on numerous occasions at local breweries and it is something I would definitely drive out of my way for! Friendly staff, even though they are constantly busy, and the food is delicious. The cold lobster roll is great but the warm roll with butter is phenomenal! Highly recommend! read more

Delicious food, great atmosphere great, lobster tail wonderful people met some really great people regulars, and amazing. Amazing drink

I try to get to Got Lobstah every time it's fairly close. Love their food. It's the best. And their crew is awesome. Renae even texts me personally when they are going to be close. Sad to say I have no car today. Keep up the good work!! read more

Oh my gosh absolutely phenomenal!!! we actually try to go see them at the John's Pass seafood festival in a couple weeks back and they literally sold out to people before us we ended up getting some blackened shrimp and a hotdog as that was all that was left, but it was really good. We were finally able to go over to safety Harbor today. They were parked in front of troubled waters brewing - that was an excellent combo and we finally got to get our lobster rolls. They were to die for!! so glad we finally got to try them. Also, the staff was so nice and friendly. There is a middle-age guy with a beard who was there today as well as at the festival who is so kind and always on top of things and then a few younger kids working as well. My husband and I were both impressed about how well cleaned both the inside and outside of the truck looked- I feel like they really take pride in what they do and I am very glad we were able to drive over and see them today!! I will certainly be keeping an eye out on Instagram for where they go in Tampa in the next couple weeks to go back again read more

These lobster rolls hit the spot! I had the warm option with butter. My partner had the one with double meat and drizzled mayo. Plenty of lobster in both versions. We always try to stop at this food truck when it's nearby! read more

This food truck was just eh. Nothing exciting about it. The lobster as a little rubbery and tough. (Bit into some lobster shell in the meat) The flavor was good, but just not really fresh; the bread was just a piece of white toasted bread. The potato salad was very chunky and had a very strong onion taste. The cole slaw was very tasty! It's a little pricey for the amount of food you get. read more

I haveggn a follower of this food truck for years. I have purchased a loyalty card. However on 4/5/25, my daughter and SIL visited the food truck in Westchase. They bought to bring home to me, a warm lobster roll and lobster mac n cheese. The lobster was rubbery and overcooked. Also chips need to be purchased now??! I am very disappointed in this visit and am not sure I will revisit as quality has diminished. Please return to provide the quality of the past. Linda Anderson read more

Enjoy lobster but can't make it up to New England? This is the food truck for you! They bring the lobster down from Maine and serve it in several ways. I haven't made it past the warm, buttery lobster roll on the menu though! Each lobster roll is stuffed full of lobster meat so it's filling. The seasoning and the butter are perfect. And if you're getting it to go, make sure to ask for it to be "deconstructed" so you don't end up with a soggy roll when you open up the box. The lobster and the butter are separated into a container for you to warm up when you're ready. Plus, you might not see it on the menu but they often have whoopie pies from a bakery in Maine. Those are worth a try too! Glad they have a text notification system for when the truck will be in my area because this food truck is tops in my book read more

Wow! I was skeptical about finding a good lobster roll here being that I'm from the northeast and have had really good lobster rolls there. But, this lobster truck is the real deal! There are no fillers here, just a bounty of buttery and delicious lobster chunks. Everyone I've interacted with at the truck has been really kind, too! read more

Definitely the spot that attracted a lot of customers this year at the Fords Pass Seafood Festival. The down fall was the wait for food. Of course I wanted to try the Maine Lobstah Roll and finally got my hands on one after a little over 2 hour wait. Yes, before you say anything this was a ridiculous time to wait but I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. The service seemed pretty quick once you got to the front of the line but again, 2 hours is way too long for any food service. The food itself I'd give a solid 3-3.5. It was fresh and you definitely got a lot of lobster. However, I also had a few small pieces of lobster shells in my lobster roll which was disappointing. The price was a little high, even for inflation at $23 ($25 after tax) for a roll and some potato chips. read more

Why 4 stars? Because this is a solid option when you're on the hunt for lobster. --- --- --- My wife and I share a love for lobster, and specifically, lobster rolls. While we already had food at the house that we needed to eat, she recently texted me one day that she had been stalking Got Lobstah on social media and saw that it was actually going to be near our house that evening. Should she pick some up and bring it home, she asked? Is it worth it to save my leftovers for one day later when they are already kind of borderline, in order to eat lobster tonight? Yes, yes it is. So she brought home a hot, butter lobster roll, a lobster grilled cheese and lobster mac and cheese. I didn't love the mac and cheese. Well, I loved the lobster portion. The pasta and cheese part was just okay, in my opinion. The lobster roll was definitely tasty. Small, like most lobster rolls are, but filled with a solid amount of delicious shellfish. And the lobster grilled cheese turned out to be the best part! It was essentially a carbon copy of the lobster roll, just with melted cheese, but the flavor of the cheese went well with the lobster. And the cheese also held everything together much better, so there was less lobster spillage than with the roll. If I ever see this truck out in the wild, I'm sure I'll be patronizing it. I can't say I've ever been in a mood where lobster doesn't sound good - and these folks do it well! read more

Yum yum yum!!! Literally all that went through my head after devouring the traditional Maine lobster roll and lobster Mac and cheese. Had the honor of having them serve their food in my apartment complex. I wanted everything but settled with the traditional lobster and Mac and cheese. The prices are obviously reflective of what's going on in the world (cough inflation cough) but that didn't stop me. Their roll is buttered and crispy. Layered with a lot of meat and just enough Mayo, the sandwich was just amazing. The roll came with kettle chips which in my opinion, far superior to fries (yeah I said it). The Maine lobster Mac and cheese was also yummy and loaded with meat. Fan of the pasta used and all in all, I hope they come to a location near me again. read more

Got the chance to try this food truck at a brewery I was at. I only got a lobster roll (butter/hot) and it was soooo good. This is exactly how you hope a lobster roll tastes every time. This is a must attend food truck when they are in your area. This is actually a food truck to drive to if it's evenly remotely close to your area. This is my second review of this truck because I swear their food has gotten better since the last time I had it (not sure how because it has always been perfection)! Today I stuck with a personal favorite, lobster Mac and cheese. They boil the noodles to a perfect temperature and texture. This is important because you want your noodle to hold as much cheese as possible. They have mastered this beautifully. They then scoop a blend of (I think 4) liquid cheeses on top and they make sure every noodle is covered. Then.. the masterpiece is complete by adding on fresh, huge, succulent lobster. I lived in the northeast (RI) and this lobster does not disappoint. This is a treat I wish I could have every day. I believe the cost is $12 for a huge portion. I would pay more for this because of the quality and quantity. This is my absolute favorite food truck and it's always a pleasure to get to taste their food when they are in my area. Thank you for making my Sunday super! read more

If you love lobster...then this is the food truck to follow! I don't do social media, so I downloaded the StreetFoodFinder App on my phone, just so I would know where they will be when I get hungry for a "Lobstah Roll"!!! Best Lobster Roll I've ever had! read more

Food is pretty good, although as some other reviews note, they can't get a handle on timely (or even reasonable) prep. I waited 30 minutes for a plain hot dog and an additional 30 for my lobster roll. If you're asking people to stand in 100+ degree heat for food, ya gotta pump it out in a timely fashion. The line continually grew but I rarely (if at all) saw food actually come out. I was second in line and I can't imagine the wait times of the people behind me! Wouldn't recommend, unfortunately. read more

Decided to support the food trucks that come to our building so I walked up at 8:02. Still putting items away and cleaning up and says, "sorry we closed at 8". Seems kinda rigid, private owner seems like you could possibly bend the strict rules to make a customer happy. All you have to do is exceed expectations by 1% and you have a customer for life. Clearly you don't care but now you lose out on a decent sale, was buying for 3 and I absolutely will never buy from your truck and will recommend no else does either. Go to Boardwalk Grill at Johns pass instead read more

Fair amount a lobster for a $15 roll. Was it the best lobster roll ever? No, but it was one of the most affordable Foods at the sun west shrimp and crab event in Hudson. Compared to what my husband got from another vendor, my lobster roll was 1000 times better. The owner seems very nice, little dry sense of humor, but all in all pretty Speedy for the amount of people in line. read more
