Oh my gosh absolutely phenomenal!!! we actually try to go see them at the John's Pass seafood festival in a couple weeks back and they literally sold out to people before us we ended up getting some blackened shrimp and a hotdog as that was all that was left, but it was really good. We were finally able to go over to safety Harbor today. They were parked in front of troubled waters brewing - that was an excellent combo and we finally got to get our lobster rolls. They were to die for!! so glad we finally got to try them. Also, the staff was so nice and friendly. There is a middle-age guy with a beard who was there today as well as at the festival who is so kind and always on top of things and then a few younger kids working as well. My husband and I were both impressed about how well cleaned both the inside and outside of the truck looked- I feel like they really take pride in what they do and I am very glad we were able to drive over and see them today!! Excellently prepared melt in your mouth. My husband to be had Lobster Mac and Cheese again a delicious treat with large pieces of meat including claw meet again did not disappoint. I would totally recommend this Very Special Food Truck. I understand they stop by The Soggy Bottom Brewery in Dunedin once a month. They also have stops at a lot of the Breweries in our area! (Bit into some lobster shell in the meat) The flavor was good, but just not really fresh; the bread was just a piece of white toasted bread. Enjoy lobster but can't make it up to New England? This is the food truck for you! They bring the lobster down from Maine and serve it in several ways. I haven't made it past the warm, buttery lobster roll on the menu though! Each lobster roll is stuffed full of lobster meat so it's filling. The seasoning and the butter are perfect. And if you're getting it to go, make sure to ask for it to be "deconstructed" so you don't end up with a soggy roll when you open up the box. The lobster and the butter are separated into a container for you to warm up when you're ready. Plus, you might not see it on the menu but they often have whoopie pies from a bakery in Maine. Definitely the spot that attracted a lot of customers this year at the Fords Pass Seafood Festival. The down fall was the wait for food. Of course I wanted to try the Maine Lobstah Roll and finally got my hands on one after a little over 2 hour wait. Yes, before you say anything this was a ridiculous time to wait but I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. The service seemed pretty quick once you got to the front of the line but again, 2 hours is way too long for any food service. The food itself I'd give a solid 3-3.5. It was fresh and you definitely got a lot of lobster. However, I also had a few small pieces of lobster shells in my lobster roll which was disappointing. Yum yum yum!!! Literally all that went through my head after devouring the traditional Maine lobster roll and lobster Mac and cheese. Had the honor of having them serve their food in my apartment complex. I wanted everything but settled with the traditional lobster and Mac and cheese. The prices are obviously reflective of what's going on in the world (cough inflation cough) but that didn't stop me. Their roll is buttered and crispy. Layered with a lot of meat and just enough Mayo, the sandwich was just amazing. The roll came with kettle chips which in my opinion, far superior to fries (yeah I said it). Why 4 stars? Because this is a solid option when you're on the hunt for lobster. --- --- --- My wife and I share a love for lobster, and specifically, lobster rolls. While we already had food at the house that we needed to eat, she recently texted me one day that she had been stalking Got Lobstah on social media and saw that it was actually going to be near our house that evening. Should she pick some up and bring it home, she asked? Is it worth it to save my leftovers for one day later when they are already kind of borderline, in order to eat lobster tonight? Yes, yes it is. So she brought home a hot, butter lobster roll, a lobster grilled cheese and lobster mac and cheese. I didn't love the mac and cheese. Well, I loved the lobster portion. The pasta and cheese part was just okay, in my opinion. The lobster roll was definitely tasty. Small, like most lobster rolls are, but filled with a solid amount of delicious shellfish. And the lobster grilled cheese turned out to be the best part! It was essentially a carbon copy of the lobster roll, just with melted cheese, but the flavor of the cheese went well with the lobster. And the cheese also held everything together much better, so there was less lobster spillage than with the roll. If I ever see this truck out in the wild, I'm sure I'll be patronizing it. I waited 30 minutes for a plain hot dog and an additional 30 for my lobster roll. If you're asking people to stand in 100+ degree heat for food, ya gotta pump it out in a timely fashion. The line continually grew but I rarely (if at all) saw food actually come out. I was second in line and I can't imagine the wait times of the people behind me! This is a must attend food truck when they are in your area. This is actually a food truck to drive to if it's evenly remotely close to your area. This is my second review of this truck because I swear their food has gotten better since the last time I had it (not sure how because it has always been perfection)! Today I stuck with a personal favorite, lobster Mac and cheese. They boil the noodles to a perfect temperature and texture. This is important because you want your noodle to hold as much cheese as possible. They have mastered this beautifully. They then scoop a blend of (I think 4) liquid cheeses on top and they make sure every noodle is covered. Then.. the masterpiece is complete by adding on fresh, huge, succulent lobster. I lived in the northeast (RI) and this lobster does not disappoint. This is a treat I wish I could have every day. I believe the cost is $12 for a huge portion. I would pay more for this because of the quality and quantity. This is my absolute favorite food truck and it's always a pleasure to get to taste their food when they are in my area.
