As I was returning to my car, I could see it from a distance, someone had "keyed " scratch, the entire length of the driver's side of my vehicle. It was severe. Rule of thump: put water on a scratch on your auto finish, if the scratch disappears it can be buffed out. When I got home I ran the hose,wet the car, the scratch remained completely visible. As I'm new to Raleigh, and new to NC I didn't know who to call. I opened the Yelp app and contacted several repair shops based on reviews. They all responded promptly and gave a quote except one. The first one to respond didn't give me a quote, he set a time for the next day when he could come see it in person. The day Travis arrived a few minutes early and I was ready. He inspected the scratch and gave me a quote, best by several hundred $$ I was skeptical, I told Travis I was awaiting to hear from a couple more shops but I would let him know either way within a couple hours. I had a good feeling about Travis so even though his very much lower price gave me a "too good to be true" vibe, I needed my car fixed so I texted Travis. We set a time for two days later as I had to work around my schedule. Travis' two helpers arrived early, before Travis. They explained they would prep the car and could start immediately. I left them to get started as I had a project had had to attend. When I looked outside maybe 20 mins later Travis was there his truck unloaded, equipment set up. All three seemed very busy. What they had to do to get that scratch out was unreal. The scratch wasn't just to the metal, the metal was scratched as well. It was a lot of work many steps in the process and it took some time. As they neared completion of the project, one of the guys found me in my backyard and filled me in. I started towards my car, already close enough where the scratch was previously visible, I saw shiny pint. I continued to close the distance, scrutinizing with increased intensity. I was at the car, scanning the previously damaged area with my eyes. I saw no sign of any damage, no residual of the scratch whatsoever. My nightmare was over, Travis and his guys made my car look like brand new. I can once again drive my car with pride. I recommend Same Day Bumper and Grill all day every day and twice on Sunday Than you Travis !!

This is a true white glove service collision center…read morewith top notch service, and it's the only "preferred" collision center for Tesla other than Tesla's own collision shops. I had cosmetic damage from an accident that was luckily cut and dry not my fault thanks to a dash camera. - estimate appointment was available in a week, they only do estimates in-person (unlike some other places that do online estimates using photos). This does seem like a long time, however other shops I reached out to were all 1-2 weeks out and Tesla's own shop was a month out. - you work with one person through the entire process who oversees everything. I cannot emphasize enough how nice this is. In contrast, every time you call or chat in app with Tesla's shop it's always a different person. Things can get lost/delayed/overlooked pretty easily like that. I worked with Brent and he was fantastic. - once I talked to the insurance adjuster and let them know of my choice for the shop and once I signed the papers, I was able to drop off the car in 11 days with 10 day ETA for the repair. Insurance I had a claim through has some sort of agreement with Triangle Collision where they direct bill them and handle all the paperwork for you. I spoke exactly one time with the insurance adjuster, Triangle Collision had me sign one paper via email to get the ball rolling, I then signed a paper at drop off and at pickup, that's it. Very easy. - drop off was a breeze, they are partners with Enterprise and they call a shuttle for you to get you to the local nearby Enterprise branch to pick up a rental car - Brent provided regular updates and the car was done 2 days ahead of schedule - pickup was very easy, they allow you to drop off the rental car right at the shop, you just can't beat the convenience of that I'm very satisfied with the repair, you can't tell the car was repaired. Paint is matched perfectly. I received a warranty booklet for the repair too, hopefully won't need to use it ever! From the research I've done the final cost of the repair turned out to be on the higher side, but you get what you pay for. I would not think twice about choosing any other collision center but this one for my future car body work needs.

the team at caliber are literal saints and all stars!…read more i was rear ended stopped at a light by a driver on their cell phone who failed to even brake on a 45 mph road here in cary. my car was slammed from behind and pushed into the car in front of me and undriveable. it was towed off and then the at fault driver's insurance caught wind their $50,000 property damage limit was likely insufficient for two damaged cars and they left it all on me. enter alora. i needed to get the car towed somewhere to assess damage. caliber was slammed but the only place that came highly, highly recommended. as alora was recommending back up places i started to cry explaining the insurance left me hanging with three costly car seat replacements, a crazy hassle for a comparable rental, and a back and forth runaround that was insane ... and then she took control... she wanted to help. and help me she did: they did more to get things moving than both insurance companies.  she knew my car was likely a total loss and yet alora took it upon herself, busy as can be, to reach out to the regional liberty mutual rep to get them to issue a claim number so she get things moving. i have a business background and if that isn't girlboss, tell me what is. i'll wait. car accidents are expensive. they are a navigation and logistical nightmare. if you're in this situation i am so very sorry. repairs take real professionals. the best thing you can do is go to a team that cares to do right. Not sure how/what...but it stopped my breath & unleashed an ugly cry meltdown. Dent Works of Raleigh is one of several mobile dent removal businesses that popped up online. I sent an ISO message & pics to all. One took several days to reply. The others replied almost immediately, but the quote Brad Rice at Dent Works of Raleigh gave me was the best. He told me when he could get to my car & we scheduled the work. Brad just left my home... the dent is still in my car... much to my chagrin, but I feel that I've been given an honest appraisal, and that's a good feeling. Brad *could* have done the work, taken the money we had already agreed on upfront...and walked away. However, he was honest and forthright and told me that in his professional opinion trying to get the dent out...b/c of the depth, the shape, the condition, etc.... will leave my door w/ 'bumps' ...no smooth finish...and maybe a worse appearance than what is there now. IF I wanted a smooth job, he advised that we take the car to a collision shop like Foster's. Yes, he even gave us a recommendation! Who does that? An honest, fair worker who takes pride in his work and wants the finished product to reflect his pride and effort. We tried to get him to take money for coming to our home to appraise the problem, but he refused. Brad Rice won't be fixing our Honda... we understand and agree w/ everything he said about the dent and the 'possibilities' from repair...but we will DEF file his name and company for reference should we get any other dings/dents. One was able to be seen at an angle where it bends light but the other was very evident and the crease could be easily seen and felt.. I am amazed at the speed and quality of work. When he was done I went to look at the finished job. I inspected the door several times and couldn't see any trace of the damage. Even after he left I sat out in the sunlight looking at the place where the dent was from all angles and am still impressed. The price was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to hire him in the future. I will be recommending his service and showing his skill and quality of work to my co-workers and friends.
