It's amazing that my Godson chose Memphis TN as our 'halfway' point to spend a hotel night during our drive to the 32nd Redemption TCG National Tournament this weekend in Wilmore KY. It's when after dinner last night we noticed one of my tires losing pressure about 20 miles from our overnight hotel. I call it a miracle and Divine Providence that a tire that started showing low pressure last night is successfully replaced by Audi Memphis. They didn't have my regular run-flat tire but miraculously had a high quality brand new Continental and all at no cost covered by my road hazard warranty. And as all Audi dealerships do, I shud be able to leave the dealership in peace and w a complimentary car wash. If it fits my trunk space, I plan to use the new tire one day, have it installed in a cheap rim, and make it my donut as new Audi's have no more spare tires and provide run-flat tires. I'm an old man still adjusting to this technology. This dealership is highly recommended when y'all are driving long distance from Dallas TX to the Lexington KY area as it's a halfway point especially when you need/want peace of mind by doing a quick check up especially if your vehicle is still covered by Audi's comprehensive service etc warranty. So this service center sucks. I have been bringing my Audi to them since 2022, and hope I never have to go back. in the beginning, I dealt with a guy named Justin. He was always upfront and transparent about the work being done on my car. He no longer works there, so I began dealing with a young man named Travis. Travis is the opposite of Justin. And he and the service team have changed my want to have them continue working on my vehicle. At the beginning of this year, I started having issues with a lot of different alarms/notifications popping up while I was driving (ABS system, brake booster system, battery icon, my sensors were not as effective, etc.). I do not know the most about vehicles because I work in healthcare, but I honestly felt because everything along with the battery light that my battery may need to be replaced. I sat on multiple occasions, 3-4 hours at a time, before choosing to leave because it was taking a while. I was never told about a shuttle process, and because of the strict unrealistic conditions they have for service vehicles, I would choose to wait. When I finally did leave my vehicle, they sent me a quote for a new brake booster system that cost over $2000; my car is only 3 years old. So I got a second opinion (a reputable nationally known auto shop), and they immediately called that I needed a new battery. After replacing it, everything stopped popping up. Audi also performed an oil change on my car back in Feb, but more recently I have noticed a leak (spotty leakage) in my garage but figured maybe it was melted snow or rain; I just didn't think much of it. Last week, a notification popped up saying that my oil had reached its minimal level, with 4000 miles left until my next oil change. My husband inspected it and said the ring was loose and that old oil had piled up in the space of the pan. Today, I had an appointment to have them correct the recalls on my vehicle, so I asked Nick to also have them address that. My husband did top my oil off so I can drive for the week, and some spilled in my engine, so Audi inspected that and cleaned my engine and said there should no longer a leak (of course not now lol), but we shall see. If there is no more leaking noted, I will not be back to this place. And honestly, I would not recommend it to anyone else. They also left my backseat in a mess, after finishing my work. I would have at least expected them to make sure my things were back the way they found them, but they continue to be rude and unprofessional, never mind that they are the reason for my bad experience with them. Probably the worst customer service that I've ever experienced in the auto industry. The used car Manager Kyle Isbell isn't someone that should be in a customer service role. I purchased a 2022 Audi S6 the second week of November 2024 and there was a gash taken out of one of the tires so they said they'd replace 2 tires and put them on the same side of the car instead of both on the back or the front. I made a point to tell the salesman Michael that the last thing I want to do when I spend $60K on a vehicle is worry about having to buy new tires in 6 months. Well 3 months and 3k miles later I move out of state and have the check engine light come on and take it in to have the Houston Audi dealership tell me I need 2 new tires, the right side were at 3/32 and 4/32. I get connected with Kyle to see if there's an type of help they could provide and he started off the conversation telling me that it was my responsibility to inspect the car and once I left with it it's on me. Then it was the Houston dealership telling me I needed tires just so they could sell me something. I expect a dealership the brand caliber of Audi to sell a safe car and have a level of expertise to call certain things out. I got heated and did used a couple of choice words, I was frustrated. I then asked for the GM's number, he said no (3x) I then asked for him to call me and he said maybe. He then hung up on me and I heard in the background **ck You. Buyer beware, bring a mechanic because the Gossett Audi dealership will throw there hands up once the signatures are dry. $1650 later for 2 new tires and an alignment. I took my Q5 in for the 80k mileage service. I was quoted $1200. I was sent an email with inspection report with suggestions of services needed. I clicked on recommended service and total came out to $2681. I approved. Upon check out the total was $4138. Way more than the approval I had given. As a person who has owned Audis for years and gone to several dealers' service departments over the years, It brings me no joy to say that Audi Memphis' service department is no longer on my list for repairs beyond oil changes, tire repair, or wheel alignment. I called roughly 4 weeks in advance to set my appointment to have my Audi A7 seen for service and left a detailed voice message for the service manager. I did not hear back from the service manager so my expectations for this visit were already low, but I tried to remain positive. I arrived on 10/11/22, the day before my service to explain the issue again, with the associated warranty documentation from the Audi Website after contacting other Audi dealers, certified mechanics who specialize in working with Audis of this era with the 3.0t and 4.0t engines engine found in various Audi Models. I had done so in an abundance of caution after being notified that this issue of Crankcase Ventilation Valve or commonly referred to as "PCV Pipe/Valve" failure was a well-known problem, that in all likelihood, my car was within the warranty requirements both regarding the model year and the mileage restriction. I explained the issue to the service specialist, and he recorded my VIN and made a copy of the warranty that Audi themselves offered after verifying that It was attached to my VIN. I arrived 10/12/22 the next day to drop my vehicle off and later that day received a call that the issue was not the well-known PCV pipe/Valve failure but the oil separator. I asked about what was done hoping for details regarding the diagnostic. I was simply told, "it was done and that was not it". During the same call, I was told that they could not verify the warranty despite him verifying it the day before citing an issue of a different name being associated with the VIN of the extended warranty although the paperwork says in pertinent part that "The warranty, as extended, is fully transferrable to subsequent owners", that the repair would be roughly $1100 including parts and labor. A few minutes later, the same associate told me the price would be substantially higher and that it would require eight (8) hours. These errors further prompted me not to proceed with the repair, because it appeared as if neither the specialist nor the only master tech on duty, were able to explain the remedy required and that neither were knowledgeable enough explain the problem or sudden change in price, which I also found to be very disappointing. Later that day, I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, I requested to see evidence of the test done, or any further information to show where the symptoms had been noted and a detailed explanation of the diagnosis and why the PCV pipe failure was ruled out. There was no evidence was provided. I referenced earlier that I was told via phone by the service associate that "it had been done" in reference to the portion of the diagnosis. Upon closer examination of my work order the master tech placed the words "video" on the service sheet. I find this statement to be intentionally vague. There was no "video" was sent to me, nor shown when I requested further information regarding my vehicle. I decided to show the service specialist a video from another Audi dealership on a well-known platform showing the same issue from an Audi with the same engine in the affected group, complete with the same symptoms my car exhibited "whistling at idle, that stops once the oil cap is removed", citing the well-known PCV pipe/valve failure as the cause. I have since had the repair done at a competitor shop at the aforementioned price of roughly 1100$ & that the repair was previously as I stated it to be the PCV pipe and that the oil separator mentioned at Audi memphis was a competent of the same piece that if they were an Audi dealer would've covered under the warranty. What I do find to be most disappointing however is that this visit, contradicts the experience I had while at the Audi Nashville service department. While there, my service specialist explained my previous issue which was a coolant leak, walked through the mechanical issue itself, and answered any follow up questions I had with detail and full pricing. They did not simply respond with a short vague sentence. The repair as a result was not usually expensive for an Audi, and the technician inspired confidence. I was also given a health report with further details regarding my vehicle. I did not even feel the need to provide paperwork as they already had the documentation prepared. In summation, I find the lack of transparency regarding diagnosis for repairs and pricing for such repairs to be troubling. I hope no other Audi customers experience this as they well designed & engineered vehicles. read more

I hate to add to the negative reviews but I no longer take my Audi Q5 for service at Audi Memphis. Shortly after my 80K mile service the engine light came on. I was told not to worry about it and probably something minor. After 6 months of looking at the engine light I took it to a friend who had a basic scanner and it pointed to a timing chain issue and they suggested taking it to a shop that had a scanner that was built for European / Audi cars. Audi Memphis wanted over $200 an hour to scan and diagnose the issue. I found another shop who did the scan for no charge and they verified that it was a timing chain issue. After they made that repair they commented that it did not look like the car had been serviced to what they considered to be an 80K service. From memory the sales experience was positive when I bought the car, the fellow that runs the service department is top notch - but I am not sure I got what I paid for for the additional services I purchased. read more

Sales manager will actually put you off from buying the Audi of your dreams. Do yourself a favor and get your new Audi from Nashville. On 04/07/2022 I bought a car from Audi and I drove about 10 miles from the dealership back to work and noticed the bumper was coming apart. I called the sales rep DeAndre DeShields and told him about it and his response was 'there's nothing we ca do'. Now I did purchase it "as is" and bought a 2 year warranty but I'm pissed at the fact that the body appeared to be damaged free and I have pictures to prove it but really they botched the bumper and now the shield under the car has fallen apart. I took the car to the shop and they quoted me 1,800.00 because the lower bracket is broken and said I might as well get the bumper replaced too cause it wont be long before it falls completely off due to the right and left bracket broken. I haven't ran over anything or hit anything. I barely drive it. The car was already damaged but wasn't visible and its so unfair and should be against the law that I was sold a car in this condition. I really thought I was safe purchasing from Audi but NEVER again and people please if you do purchase from Audi avoid DeAndre DeShields as being your salesman; He is not trustworthy. Beyond incompetent. I can't speak to the sales side but certainly can for service. Twice I have set up appointments to have my windshield calibrated and both times after making the 25 minute drive they proceeded to tell me the technician just left and they will have to reschedule. They didn't bother to even call me to cancel and The second time they didn't even know that I was getting my windshield done. When they told me on the second appointment instead of simply apologizing the guy in-service told me and I quotewelcome to my world.I wasn't aware that my incompetence had wasted part of his day twice. So I bought a 2020 Audi A3. I took it in for my 10,000 mile maintenance and a noise coming from the front end and to get my window fixed. I already had rude service at the beginning. Then the service manager only called me once. 3 weeks went buy never heard from anybody. I had to call him and he said it will be ready Monday when in fact They haven't even started on it. So 42 days yes 42 days later I get my car back and it's still making the noice. They said they replaced the wheel bearings but evidently that wasn't the problem. Then I was told to come back on Monday so a tech could ride in the car so they can hear the noise. So if you heard the noise before and you thought it was a wheel bearing . If they would have drove the car after they so called fixed it they would have heard the noise. The buying experience was awesome. Chip and Jason helped out a lot but still my car is still messed up. I'm so irritated. There's no communication at all. I had to get chip involved so they would do something about my car. When I finely get my car back I'm going back to bmw. I'm not bashing Audi but they need to fire some people and start over.. Looking on here most people have the same problem with the service department. I guess I'm going to half to take it somewhere else so they can figure it out and I will tell Audi what wrong with it. I'm over it. I think I've been more then patient. I don't even know how they are still in business. Whole team needs firing. I took my truck to get the A/C fixed last year and it didn't hold up for a month. Called to get it back in and didn't get a app until this past April. Fast forward, took it to them in August and it's October and they still have it. Ain't fixed the A/C yet then their techs caused my truck not to start and called me to say I need to pay them $3000 to get it back running. Then another $3000 to fix my A/C. What can I say... Where to start? Gossett Audi is absolutely the worst of the worst. Having owned higher end vehicles from Lexus, Range Rover, and Audi, Gossett scores a Negative 10. No customer service whatsoever. Had a flat in the last 48 hours. When I finally reached some one in service after so many messages, they told me I'd have to wait over 2 months for repair and I paid $800 for tire and rim protection when I purchased. I finally called an Audi dealership in CA and spoke to the GM. He told me if I were out there, they'd have a new tire for me changed and out the door in 25 minutes. I have lived in Tahoe, Palm Desert and Simi Valley Ca and all of those Audi dealership were wonderful.....Reno....Westlake Village, CA and Rancho Mirage, Ca .... that's why I continued to buy Audi..... great customer service..... but what we have received here in TN is plain awful! I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the picture. The next closest Audi dealership is 130 miles away and they know this. Originally submitted an online service request for 20,000 mile check. I heard nothing for two weeks. Resubmitted another online request, heard nothing again, took a screenshot and emailed the GM. Heard nothing again, called and left VM for GM and Service Center. Finally got a returned call from the Service Center but they couldn't get my vehicle in for 3 weeks. That was somewhat understandable since there were several corrective issues with 2018 Q5's. However, in speaking with the Service Consultant, I was informed to not use the online scheduler and to call the Memphis Service Center. Get with the program, Audi is a luxury car and should have a functioning online service scheduler (Principle Toyota has one that works great for my wife's car). After all this, I received a call from the Service Center less than 48 hours before my appointment telling me they needed to reschedule due to being short-staffed. Fortunately, they were able to reschedule within a few days. Perhaps I've just had really bad luck with the dealership but it has been extremely frustrating to say the least. However, I'm inclined to think this is the norm with Audi Memphis - the Brand Specialist I'd originally interacted with never returned my email after we'd spoken on the phone and I emailed him the specs I was looking for in a 2018 Q5. A few days went by, and almost like what now seems like foreshadowing of my future interactions with this dealership, I heard nothing. As far as car dealerships go (and I have dealt with four now, this is my favorite. There is no pressure, for the cars sell themselves. We were caught between a high pressure Acura dealer and Gossett Audi, and drove both the Q7 and the MDX. The car made up my mind for me, and as polite and friendly and promising as our Acura dealer was, it was a bit much, and I just wanted the tighter, smoother-lined Q7. Our car leasing process was non-traumatizing (which is about as good as that process can go, am I right?) We loved Bink Hare, our salesperson, and everyone else who helped get my car ready and acquaint me with my new baby did a great job. Service: The Audi driver is appreciated, and earns respect because she is respectful. The drop off area is immaculate, with great graphics and architecture. Don't know why I even try anymore. Went here to purchase a vehicle I saw on the website. Salesman was perfect. Showed me the vehicle and explained all the features. Curtis more than did his job. I explained to him what I was willing to pay and corresponding monthly payment which then he relayed my numbers minto the sales manager. This took about 15-20 minutes. I have no idea what this "managers"name was, but he came back quickly with, "they could make it work". Over two hours later I meet the business manager to begin signing paperwork and the monthly payment is nearly $200 more than we had discussed. Yes, I have bought quite a few cars in my life and I expect them to be a few dollars over my "max", but oh my god. I have to say this is a Gossett "thing" and I was skeptical to begin with, but I have never felt so used and had my time wasted as in this dealership. If you ever fell like having your day wasted and being misled, then by all means please visit this dealership. It's impossible to overstate how awful this dealership truly is. To give you a good idea of the service at Audi Memphis - if your car is under warranty, and the check engine light comes on for the 2nd time in a calendar year, they will be kind enough to schedule a service appt for you NINE WEEKS in advance. Once you deliver your car to them, they will then let it sit on the lot for an additional 3 weeks without it having even been looked at. You will call and call and call, asking for updates, and you will get answers like, "ma'am I don't know what to tell you." Everyone you speak to will be condescending and indignant when you question their scheduling practices. You should be so fortunate as to worship at the feet of your local Audi service manager. 2014 Audi A4 I took my car to Gossett Audi March 2019 because my check engine light was on. They replaced my Waterpump under recall. January 2020 my check engine light came on again engine coolant leaking contacted Audi they told me it would take a month to repair my car but if I had it repaired I would be reimbursed. I had the water pump replaced again 2nd time in 10 months. I called the water pump lawsuit representative and was told since my Waterpump failed after December 2019 it would not be covered. I called Audi Corparate and was told that since Audi didn't make the recall repair it would not be covered. November 2020 the water pump has failed again thank God the company I used has a great warranty program and replaced it. But he made me aware that Audi is aware that the water pumps they are putting on their cars are garbage but they refuse to issue a recall because of the money loss in sales. read more

This is the most technically challenged service team I have ever met in my experience of owning an Audi. I have to bare through the nightmare of going to this service center every time I need to, because that's the only one in town. This is ever since my first experience, and they have done very little to improve that relationship. The guys are so challenged that they find it hard to even explain the type of service they have performed on the car!! Every time I feel like I am asking hundred questions to find an answer. How hard is it explain what was done? Sometimes I feel they are even trying to make stuff up like. I was lied to that they did the tire rotation as part of scheduled maintenance, only for me to see the rim with a spot mark in exact same location, untouched. One occasion I brought in for something else & asked him to check out engine oil as it was low. After service he said it was topped off, but the indicator level remained the same!! They always try to do the bare minimum and create a story around it rather than diagnosing the actual issue. Service department is HORRIBLE! I asked for a loaner and got screamed at by Shauwn (sp?) and he then told me to go rent a car for $35 a day. I am from out of town and have NEVER received this kind of treatment for any other Audi dealership I have ever dealt with! I am now on the phone with my local dealership in TX to see if they can help me in any way (The reason we asked for the loaner was because we have 2 large dogs and do not necessarily want them running around the dealership, so I think it would have been understandable that we wanted to get a loaner to avoid the headache.)
