I also needed someone to procure materials and project manage as I live 2K miles away. After searching for a couple of months and being frustrated by no callbacks and outrageous quotes I contacted VRC Management and couldn't be happier that I did. Jozef and his team were extremely attentive throughout the entire process, completed the work in a very reasonable time frame, and had competitive rates. Jozef even walked me through a couple of additional items that made a huge difference in the remodel including painting the cabinets instead of replacing (I don't know how they did it but they turned out perfectly), moving a cabinet for better sight lines, making a waterfall edge to update the counter, and putting a light in the newly installed stand up shower in the bathroom. All of the work is extremely high quality including some of the best tile work I have seen (and there was a lot of it). Bill was very polite, called me over the weekend to set up the time and said he'd go to the jobsite to get his guys started and then come and meet with me. He just sent me a text message (not even dignified enough to call) at 8:30pm the night before saying "We are currently too busy to take on any new jobs until September. Call me early summer." Bill is what gives contractors a bad name. Sure he might do good work, but he does not respect people's time and schedules. A simple, "Sorry, would love to help you, but we are booked through September" would have done fine at the first call. Terrible customer service and I imagine this speaks to how you might be treated as a client if he did manage to get in your door.

Handy Fellas was hired on May 11, 2019 for a $23,800 project quoted for completion in 3-4 weeks…read more After many delays Jacob agreed to finally "wrap" the project on September 23, 2019. He has been paid 90% of the project amount to date and left behind inferior workmanship, debris from demolition, and zero communication of how he plans to resolve this despite multiple attempts to contact him. We were willing to come to a resolution with Jacob so long as he provided satisfactory work, but due to his unresponsiveness, we have since hired a replacement and are looking at another $9,100 to FIX + COMPLETE the work that he was initially hired for. Our experience with Jacob & Handy Fellas was incredibly disappointing. Jacob was able to do the entire job in one day (running a conduit from the floor to behind tv, setting up new electrical outlet behind tv, mounting tv, etc.) Working with Jacob was awesome. Prior to Jacob, we had others provide estimates on the job and they completely exaggerated what needed to be done. This was not the case with Jacob. Very reasonable prices. We paid about half up front with balace at completion. We did have some add-ons, which Christian priced out for us, so there were no surprises come final payment. The crew was punctual every day and worked very quickly. They were also very patient with us as we made some adjustments, i.e. paint color. Prior to starting, we provided Christian our Home Depot credit card so he was able to buy all the materials. No problem with that. At completion, he hauled away all the debris. He was quick to reply with our initial request for a quote and came by the next day to check out the projects. He priced the work reasonably - was quick to complete the work (stained the roof deck, tore out the carpet on the other deck and installed new decking, even dog-proofed it, to boot!), he paid great attention to detail, and did an overall awesome job.
