I stopped by this gas station on my way home from Fremont. I needed to get some gas and since this gas station was right off the freeway, it was convenient for me. When I came, they had two pump station taped off so I had to go to another pump station. I just put a little bit of gas to get me home. I paid with my credit card and selected yes for the receipt. The receipt didn't print, so I had to go inside to ask the cashier for it. He was nice to me and printed me out my receipt. read more

I almost contributed to this dump by buying gas. Thankfully I went in to check to see if the bathroom was open First. Turns out the bathrooms are not open. Do not buy gas here unless you are literally desperate. Gas is way overpriced, and the mini-mart is a complete dump. read more

Rude lady works here ordering people around. I walked in and she tells me with an attitude "YOU NEED A MASK TO BE HERE", I looked at her and walked out. She should have said hey can you put a mask on there's a sign with small print that I made with a pencil that says to wear one. Not act like a jerk. Then when I return and say she was being rude she says " oh I won't service you" like lady you don't even sell mates so I was gonna buy anything anyway. B please. Freakin Gross! We stopped by for gas on the way up the hill and decided to do a BIO. The bathroom is rank. It 'looks' clean but there were at least 6 flys buzzing around as you are trying to do your business and the disgusting smell of urinal cake vs. vomit. I had to hold my breath, and Im not a weak at heart type of guy. Ill go next door to the Shell next time. read more

I drive up to Lebec a few times a month, and this is my favorite gas station. There's almost always a line for the bathrooms but it moves pretty fast. Bathrooms have always been in pretty good condition CONSIDERING the nonstop traffic they see and skeleton crew staff. Coffee has always been ready, strong, and good supply of cream etc. Full line of beverages and snacks. I like the brand of beef jerky they carry too, Jakes Grandpa or something like that. Tends to be moist, chewy, and tasty, not tooth breakingly hard like some gas station jerky I've tried. If you're towing a BIG trailer and the outside pumps are busy, Chevron might be better. Otherwise I come to 76 when I'm in Gorman. read more

I am surprised at how low the ratings are here. I thought about writing a review because the lady attendant has twice made fresh coffee for us in the middle of day in the last month or so. Prices are rather high, but look where you are at. The restroom is why there is not four stars. I have used the men's room and it is very dirty, but again, look at where it is at. 500 feet from I-5 and almost always a line of people waiting. They would have to have an attendant shut them down for probably ten minutes every hour to take care of that. And there is many times only one worker. The fuel is good and when I think it is too pricey I just get a little to get me on into L A or back to Bakersfield. read more

I wanted to use the restroom before I pumped gas and I waited as it seemed rude to just walk in with no one at the counter and it's dark outside . Then some woman with dark hair in the back room yells out " the restroom is through that door what else? there's nothing else here!" . Such a RUDE B****. Ok for Gas Purchases- But inside is WAY over priced Mini-Mart Items, and expired foods. The Gas Station Attendant (Im Assuming the owner) Will make up prices on the spot for your inside purchases. $20 for 2 smart waters, a pack of gum, and a Expired "Kind" bar. Can't really say too much about this place, other than the fact that the odometer on my rental car showed a Gas Range of 0 for about five miles before I came upon this station, so they were a lifesaver. This station has signs posted everywhere, seemingly with the purpose of justifying the cashier's rudeness. If you don't know your pump number, they are rude. If you ask about why there is a fee on a debit transaction, they are rude. I asked why there was a debit card fee on my purchase of snacks, it wasn't even for fuel, I didn't see the sign until my transaction was complete and they didn't say anything when they asked if I wanted to do debit or credit. Their response was "because it is like an ATM." However, they also had a sign refusing to honor cash back. Restroom line was also extremely long. Limited facilities. They had some skanky magazines, but no books or magazines that I could get to entertain my kids on our road trip. Avoid this station if you can. There are others close by with the same pricing on gas. read more

I need to share what happened to us on Saturday, while driving up to OR to see my grandparents. We stopped at a 76 to refuel and get water. I carried Aiden in, not wanting to deal with the wheel chair. He's heavy and hard on my back, so I use both hands to hold him. After I paid, I asked one of the two employees to help me carry my stuff to the car. They declined- multiple times. The reasoning? They had a sign. It said "No service to disabled persons". **** The lady did eventually help me out, after I practically threw a fit*** Needless to say, I filed an official complaint with the ADA and 76. I hope they get fined big time. read more

Most of the pumps and card readers were out of service at this 76 gas station. The restrooms are filthy. I ended up having to use the men's room and there was no soap in the dispenser, so you know the male cashier is not using soap and water to wash his hands, which means that he's handling the snacks and beverages with the same dirty hands he's also using to hand you your change. I would not return to this gas station unless absolutely necessary. read more

Much better service than Chevron. I went to Chevron to spend $28 and change, walked away with them stealing $20 of that. Chevron has some incompetent people working for them. However, I went right over to 76 and they were more than nice enough to me. Rather than just having some old guy tell me that I was wrong. Like, wtf Chevron? I swiped my card to purchase $40 of gas. The cashier told me that their network was down and I would have to pay in cash. Duh, if I had cash, I would pay for my gas that was since it costs more to use a cc or debit card. I told the cashier I would go across the street to Chevron. Hmmm...I saw other people using their cards so I was suspicious. The cashier charged my card and wanted cash... what a scam. I hope the swollen faced hungover tweaker gets fired! read more
