I just had the best car-buying experience I've had in a decade, and it happened at Gorges Volvo. Will took his time with me, answered every single question with so much patience, and walked me through everything -- even explaining where he was going and what he was doing so I felt informed. Will really listened to my likes and dislikes, never judged what I could or couldn't afford, and made the entire process genuinely enjoyable. From start to finish, the customer experience was smooth, fun, and stress-free. read more

Gorges Volvo - 2023 XC90 B6 Plus - Car Dealers Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Had to bring my older Volvo in for some general maintenance, and my service advisor Corey, and the rest of his team were excellent!!! They it was a very fast and smooth experience and I currently have a very hectic work schedule, they were very flexible with pick-up time. Highly recommend! read more

So organized and professional! They washed my car too and it looks brand new! They gave me a loaner car which worked out well and helped heat it up because my child was with me! Cant say enough good things!great Service Department!!! read more

We bought a 2024 XC60 SUV. Totally new to the brand. A used car brought us in at the beginning, but we ended up looking at a new one. The test drive was smooth and felt luxurious and solid. The vehicle is laid out comfortably with tons of leg and shoulder room. Lots of tech and amenities. The showroom had a quiet, zen-like quality. Totally the opposite of a typical dealership with other brands. A smooth, honest and direct experience. No pressure, just a friendly, supportive experience with an attentive and friendly communication style. We highly recommend Chandler, who helped us select our model and smoothly executed every detail in set-up. Fantastic and cool experience. read more

Bought my 3rd Volvo from Gorges. Mike Percival was my salesperson and he did a great job each time. We did 2 overseas deliveries and had an amazing time. This last one was our 2024 XC90 Recharge. Super car. Mike is personable and knowledgeable. Also, their service department is great as well. read more

Color me impressed. I recently inquired on a Volvo they have for sale and was paired with Haley as a sales associate. She was kind, extremely helpful, and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. I've dealt with lots of Volvo dealerships in the past (I've owned three Volvo's), and I was most impressed with the sales team here. Sadly, I live in Seattle and the sale didn't work out on my end (the added time and cost of flying out and getting it or shipping it to me was too high on top of the actual car). But I still felt inspired to write a review, so that should at least say something in itself! read more

Great cars, service & people! We don't put a lot of money into our Volvos other than regular maintenance. The folks at Gorges are friendly and always get the repairs to our Volvos done quickly. We just bought our 7th Volvo at the dealership & are making plans to purchase a new XC90 next year... Our 8th Volvo. It's great to have a dealership you can rely ... Only drawback is they're in Omaha & we live in Lincoln who's is 50 miles away--- but they're service makes it worth the drive! read more

Great service and working with Corey is the best. Corey knows me and my vehicle history. I always feel he has my best interest in mind when discussing service. I have an older Volvo and repairs are expensive so having someone I trust is extremely helpful. read more

I have been looking for a new Volvo xc60 for a while and thought I would check out Carfax to help me find one. Mr. Birge emailed me right at 8am on Monday morning and sent me more pictures of the car and was super helpful. He was extremely patient and not pushing at all which I appreciated since sometimes people can be too pushy! My mom is a cheap accountant so sometimes she's hard to work with since she wants the best deal. Dan was so polite and professional and worked with us to get a deal that we were both happy with. When I got to Omaha to pick up my new car, Dan took us on a test drive and showed me all the cool new things my car could do. He even spent the time to help me connect my phone to bluetooth! I couldn't have had a better experience buying a car than I did with Dan at Gorges. I love my car and can't thank him and Joel enough! read more

This was our first vehicle purchase in Nebraska. We found the sales and finance teams to be friendly, honest, and transparent about their process. Aaron was friendly and enjoyable to talk with while the team evaluated our trade-in. The process was handled smoothly, and we didn't feel any aggressive or sleazy up-selling techniques when we walked through negotiations and different warranty options. Material was presented for our consideration, but it was not shoved down our throats. We left satisfied with the price on our purchase, pleased with our experience at Gorges Volvo and through working with Aaron, and delighted with our vehicle. When the time comes for our next vehicle purchase, we'll be sure to check Gorges Volvo first. Thanks again! read more

I had the worst customer service experience I've ever had at any business in my lifetime here. It's been 5 years and I still can remember that day. Whenever Volvos are brought up, and I'm a long time volvo owner, I will always mention my experience here to another. Unforgettably bad read more

Not only does Gorges sell arguably the finest automobile on the planet, their service and support staff are without peer! I bought an XC70 in 2010 and the salesperson told me I would discover it to be the finest motorcar I'd ever owned. No brag, just fact. I also own a german turbo car (Audi) and I would sooner take a beating than take it to the Audi dealer in Omaha. In all fairness, I haven't been to the Audi dealer since it changed hands but my past dealings there make it unlikely I ever will. Gorges Volvo is a world class business! read more

It didn't take long for me to find the family SUV I wanted online through Gorges Volvo Pre-Owned cars. I filled out everything online to save me time in the dealership. I got a fair trade and a great car! Everyone was super easy to work with and it was a very low pressure sales pitch. read more

Purchased a used VW at Gorges less than two weeks ago. I have but about 600 miles on it so far. The first time (only time so far) I stopped to put gas in, I discovered the release on the gas door is broken. After messing with it for about 45 minutes I was able to get it open sliding a credit card in the side. Good thing since the car was on empty. I called the sales person to see if it was covered under a limited warranty, of course not. They actually suggested I take it to a VW dealer. Today check engine light is on. The in transits still in the window and I have not even made the payment. I have not called Gorges back, I will just take it to another dealer and have it thoroughly inspected. Buyer beware if you plan to buy a used vehicle here. read more

My wife and I are full-time realtors and although I drive a large truck, my wife needed a reliable car, with good lease terms, while also being family friendly. Over the course of 6 years I had developed a relationship with Mike P. at Gorges and although I had not bought a vehicle from him before, he had been nothing but helpful every time I had a question or wanted to learn more about Volvo cars. Having never owned one, Mike was patient with all my car questions and never pressed for a sale. Finally, when the time came to put my wife in a new car, we looked at BMW and Volvo, and simply couldn't get a better lease on a great car that met all our requirements and then some! The dealership has always been very good to us, and the service since the lease 2 years ago has been fine although like most Volvo's we never seem to need anything but normal scheduled maintenance. All the sales people seem great, but if you call Mike P. and tell him that Michael and Tammie Rheiner of The Rheiner Crew- CBSHome, sent you I know he'll take outstanding care of you! At Gorges, relationships matter...and we only refer services and business that do business the way we do business! read more

Took my car into their service deptartment for it's 50,000 mile check. The service guys were great. It was easy to book the appointment on-line and the Saturday hours were helpful. They took care of everything. read more

Avoid at all costs! The service department is horrible, extremely rude and provides no service. I recently purchased a used Volvo and it has a vacuum leak. The forums I found are talking about it being a recall, so I called to see the status on the car. When I gave them my VIN and asked about the recall, I was told that it was not a recall, they don't have recalls, it was a TSB and the car was outside the limits for their service. When I asked if it was the original part or if it was previously repaired, they refused to answer that. So I have no idea if their replacement part is also a failing piece. Or if my car has the replacement part. When I asked about the replacement part since it's very easy to replace with proper tools, I was told it was not something they would sell without first inspecting the car. Well, that's what Ebay is for, and it's probably cheaper anyway. read more

This dealer truly delivers the best value in luxury vehicles and very personalized customer service. Our salesman Dan encouraged us to test drive more cars than we wanted to because I had already picked out what I saw online. At the end I'm very glad he did because I could have found something that fit me better and it also allows me to know that I picked the best one for me. The entire staff is very professional and process is faster than most. I was offered a price 8-9 grand below asking right off the bat so there was no negotiation involved and that was the least hassle I've ever had in buying a car and I buy a new one every 2-3 years. I love my new 2017 Volvo S90 Momentum T6 so much that I had my employer get me a rental car just so I don't drive my too much. I've never had that kind of love for a vehicle in the past but then again I've never had a Volvo either. It truly is amazing! We were contemplating on either a mid to full sized Toyota and a luxury car. In two weeks I test drove the 2017 Toyota Avalon which was not impressive. Better than my Prius but not a "wow" factor there. Then we started looking at luxury vehicles. We knew they cost more but in the end it's something that we've worked very hard and had discussed this off and on for a few years. It was always "when we get to this place in life then we'll do it" but since I'm a workaholic I had to be pushed by the fact that my 16 year old got her license and she is taking my 2015 Toyota Prius. I test drove BMW and Porsche and my impression is yes those were very fine cars but I didn't feel like I had to have one and paying close to 100k for what caught the eye was too much. Then after I saw my S90 in Volvo's show room, I looked at her before test driving and I just had the feeling that it belonged to me. This car is so much value. We got the best deal ever and just amazing amount of car and luxury for the price! I am spreading the word around and I can't see myself driving anything else rather than a Volvo now. Too much to say about the service and car itself, you just have to try it!!! Comfort+performance+luxury!!! read more

Listed car as certifies. After we agree on a price the came back and now say I need to pay an additional $1800 for the certification. There are far more reputable dealers out there. I would think twice about using this dealership. read more

On August 5th I had a 1:30 apt to look at a Volvo. Appointment was set, we were driving from out of town, had a description of the car and I was excited. We pulled up and the car that I was described was pulling away with a family in it. It was explained to me that someone else decided they wanted it so the promise to me to even look at it was taken away. This to me says that these folks have no ethics and their word can not be trusted. There are lots of car dealers out there don't trust these guys. BEWARE. read more

Not sure how the other posts ended with such an experience---because mine has been very different. To put it simply---my wife and I are very impressed with this dealer! Bought from them a used S-80 last year with 85,000 miles--dealer-certified. The price adverstised was perfect and at no point did we have double-cross or high pressure sales. I know other folks may disagree with me--but you don't buy a used car and expect it not to be close to having tear and wear things surface faster than a new car(Ex: emblem peel off, brake pad wear, engine tuning, etc). Any doubts: My other car is a used SAAB that I bought from another dealer and still drive at 215K miles. That makes for a good story in another forum and with a good pot of coffee nearby. On our S-80: Make no mistake about it--Gorges is a dealer that stands by their product. For the few minor quirks that this high mileage car brought (the car has NEVER left us stranded), the dealer stood right behind the product unconditionally, and made the repairs at no charge---just as promised at the time of the sale! Seems to me that they take the Volvo reputation very serious AND personal---and they make sure that their customers don't forget what their product stands for! Even with a used Volvo---any time we approached them--there were no excuses and no insulting your intelligence. It appears for them it has to work as promised and to OUR complete satisfaction. Oil changes were done and continue to be done promptly and efficiently--the car returned to us in "showroom-condition" every time. This is our second Volvo--and can't say enough good things about these vault-solid machines. As far as my wife and I are concerned, this is the kind of reputable, no-nonsense place you want to get your car from and be serviced by. read more

Bought a new Volvo years ago from another dealer in another state. Moved to NE, just down the road from Gorges. Had some repairs needed covered under warranty. Had this same issue with the car before moving to NE and knew the routine. I specifically asked them to make sure my personal property was returned once the part was repaired. Was told it would take over 6 months. After about 9 months, I inquired and it seems my property was sent to Sweden with the defective part. I was offered $15 to compensate. Not only was this unreasonable, due to the personal attachment to the property, but I never received the compensation. I've been toying with buying another Volvo, because I particularly like the vehicles, but certainly don't want to deal with the dealership again. Still a bad taste even though this happened over 8 years ago. Just thinking of it now again because I really really really want to buy another Volvo. read more
