If you schedule an appointment, you will have a minimum of a 2 hour wait before the tech will look at your car. This is highly unacceptable. If you bring your car in for a possible warranty issue, they will do everything they can do make you pay for the whole thing and say that your warranty is voided for said service. Baxter used to be an honest dealer/service place to take your vehicle. No more, they could care less about customer service and your satisfaction. If you bring a concern to their attention, their idea of making it right for you is to give you a complimentary car wash, which really isn't a car wash, they just spray your car down with water. In what world does this make a customer happy? Also, if you need a loaner, it is like pulling teeth, if they even have a car to loan. Find another dealership/shop to have your car worked on. You see the name Baxter, run away to some place else. I know I will be looking for some other service center that isn't Baxter. So mad and upset that I will never buy or get a car serviced from them ever again and you shouldn't either.

Sales said it was"frozen" whatever that meant. No offer to fix it before purchase. Following the test drive I shut off the car and the salesman came out to move it and it would not start. The owner and another man came running (literally) with a battery charger and confessed that they had to jump it that morning! It would not start even after a charge. They had this lot 6 months and never checked the battery (it was the original 2019 battery that came in the car new. They didn't fix the running board or tell me prior it did not work. The salesman said he himself drove it 1000 miles last summer. This car would have left me stranded on the 100 mile drive back home!

    I just got swindled by the service department…read more Yesterday my engine started sputtering and the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone and they checked the error codes for free. It was code P0302 which means the cylinder 2 was misfiring. I replaced all 4 spark plugs and coils, took it for a drive, and it drove like new, but the check engine light stayed on. I did some research and found that there is a well documented catastrophic engine failure issue with the 2016-2020 Kia Optimas associated with that specific code/cylinder. So I took it into the dealership to have it checked. When the associate, Shane Clap, told me that it was going to cost $232 to diagnose the issue, I said that I was going to just take it back to autozone, have them clear the code, and see if the light came back on. Especially since it is driving fine. Shane smooth talked me into getting it checked it out, stating that the code should have cleared itself if there weren't any further issues. $232 dollars and 4 hours later, I am told that there weren't any further issues. My replacing the plugs and coils fixed the problem. He just said they couldn't clear the codes without doing a full diagnostic first. In the end, I had to pay a "stupid tax" of $232 to get to the same place I would have been if I trusted my gut and had Autozone clear the codes for free. I own two Kia's, a 2018 Optima and a 2021 Telluride, but I will never bring a car to that service department again.

    If I could give less than zero stars, I would…read more I purchased my Jeep from this dealership a year ago, and the experience has been nothing but disappointing from start to finish. My vehicle had only six miles on it when I took it home, yet no one installed the required front license plate bracket--even though the state mandates a front plate. The salesperson was friendly enough, but mostly unnecessary since I already knew exactly what I wanted. Before filling my tank or giving the required full charge, he asked me to complete a review for him. I never received a full charge from them (I purchased a Jeep Wrangler 4xe)--not at purchase and not since. The biggest issues came from the finance department. I was given misleading information that increased my purchase price significantly. When I confronted him about the numbers, the price was quietly adjusted--but he took my tax break for himselves without informing me or asking for permission. That alone was beyond unacceptable. The only reason I've returned at all is because the purchase included a couple of free oil changes. I'm here today for a SCHEDULED oil change and was just told it will take an hour and fifteen minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. This dealership has been nothing but a headache. Between the dishonesty, the lack of communication, and the consistently poor service, I HIGHLY recommend that no one comes here. They are a complete joke, and I regret doing business with them.
