My 18 year old daughter bought a Jeep compass from this place less than 6 months ago. It has had nothing but problems. They have replaced the transmission which was surprising however it still has issues. Recently it completely stopped running in the middle of the highway and they towed it and now it's a $900 repair. My details are below. Gastan promised a reliable vehicle and all I got was a piece of crap along with broken promises, lies and deception. I went to them based on a referral from my coworker as I just moved her from the west coast and did not know where to go. 11//18/14 My coworker took us there and introduced us to his friend Gastan. We all sat down and discussed how Gastan could help get us into a vehicle. Gastan told my husband and I with My coworker sitting there, that he would put us into a reliable vehicle and that for the first 30 days if anything went wrong with it bumper-to-bumper he would take care of it and the next 30 days if anything went wrong he would cover half the repair. My coworker left and Gastan took out to his lot and showed us two Kia Sedonas that would fit our budget. He advised that the one we ended up with was the best out of the two due to the mileage and all the work he had put into it. We then went into his office and started the paperwork. When it came to the as is warranty, I did not want to sign it and he reiterated his spoken warranty that for the first 30 days it was covered bumper-to-bumper in the next 30 days he would pay half the repairs and the paperwork was only for the bank purpose, so we signed. 11/26/14 On the way back from the hospital, the van started making a loud crunching and clunking noise from the front passenger side. Once My husband got me home, he called motion auto sales and spoke to Misty. She advised him to take it to the nearest repair facility to find out what was wrong with it. He took it to Midas where they advise the wheel bearing had gone out. My husband called her back and she asked that paperwork be faxed to her with a quote so she could see if it would be approved. After waiting a while with no response Toby told them to fix it because we could not drive it in its current condition. Later that day Misty call My husband back and told him it would not be covered because it was a normal wear item. Later that day Misty called my husband again and told him they would go ahead and credit half of what we paid on our first payment. 12/4/14 When I got in the van to leave for work the check engine light was on. Later that day, I called motion auto sales and spoke to Misty. I told her the van was sputtering and the check engine light was on. She she told me to bring it to them. I then advised her I did not get off work till 5 PM at that point she told me to go ahead and bring it in when I got off work and she would have someone put a scanner on it to make sure it was okay. When I got off work I drove to their location and she was gone but Gastan and his mechanic were in his office. I explained to him what the van was doing and that the check engine light was on. He told me don't worry about it, It probably just needed a tuneup. He said he did not have time to look at it until December 20. After scheduling an appointment his mechanic left the office. I told Gastan I was concerned because of the way it was sputtering and was afraid of being stranded. Gastan then told me if the light started flashing or it broke down he would send his tow truck. I had brought up his 30 day warranty because of what happen with the wheel bearings and he said that the 30 day warranty is only good if I bring it to him for the repairs that he was kind enough to split the cost with me. He then told me if I did not want the van he would give me my car and my down payment back I said okay and I left. 12/11/14 I had left work and was driving on the freeway when the van started sputtering and it died out. I was able to pull to the left side of the road. While the van was in park I tried to start it, it cranked but would not start, so I called and spoke to Gastan. I explained to him what happened and he told me everyone had gone for the day and his hands were tied. I then asked if I should leave the van on the side of the freeway and he told me it was my van and my call. Being extremely upset and scared, I then called for a tow truck and had them take it to my work and Greenwood Nebraska. 12/12/14 I called and spoke to Gastan. I told him that I had to pay a tow truck to come and get the van off the freeway. He then proceeded to tell me to get the van to him and he would fix it. I told him that I already had it to him and he turned me away and now I was out of pocket the money it cost to get it towed. He then said it wasn't his problem just get the van to him and he would fix it. I then told him that he misled me and he started screaming at me. Once he stopped yelling I told him I did not want his van I was taking him up on his offer that I wanted my car and my money back. He said fine, leave the keys under the mat and he would have his tow truck pick it and he did. After leaving many messages he called me after 5pm on 12/17 and told me to pick up my van. He said his offer to unwind the deal was only for the day of the offer and the financing just went through so it mine. read more

This place deserves a 10/10 rating! It doesn't seem like much but you definitely won't be disappointed! Gatfan is the owner, and a very good man. He will take care of you, work with you to make sure you get what you want while making payments responsible. My boyfriend and I both got our vehicles with him and I've had no problems. Like I said super great guy and management!! I bought a Jeep and the windshield had a tiny crack and he paid for it to be fixed, and much more. And no credit checks! Easily one of the best experiences I have ever had with buying a car. Gatfan the owner was incredibly nice and genuine. Only had minor issues which were easily fixed but you can expect that with a used car. They were even kind enough to switch my payment date around when I got a new job and my pay schedule changed. Motion Auto Sales, more like Crook Auto Sales! If you belong to the minority group...do not buy from this guy, he rip you off thinking you made a good deal. Once you go for a test drive, Gatfan, supposedly the "good raised son" immediately starts putting things in your head trying his hardest to hide every detail that's wrong with the car so you won't notice it. Yapping and yapping about how he is a good dealer, and that you have nothing to worry about. He also turns the music pretty loud to distract you from the details that you can hear from inside that matter by the way. I decided to trust him like the car drove fine that day which was a mistake. Like he told me he'd work with me if anything goes wrong. Not even a week of having the car, realized car would make ugly cracking noises and shaking when driving, and a really loud type of fan noise also starting coming from the engine. Sounded like I was driving a truck around which is really embarrassing. Took to the dealer for inspection they Figured it was engine problem, I thought it was something that could be easily replaced, didn't say anything...boy I was wrong! The car motor started startling and broke down 3 months in while I was driving to work. Disappointed called Gatfan and said I had to bring the car if I wanted him to help. This was the disappointing he refused to help and charged me another money, although the contract was if any engine problem that he will fix it! Hmmm, He is good at watered down apology after the car was fixed, on the second month of having the car, two tires failed which is a pain in the butt. I left a good review before because I honestly thought this guy was the real deal. I was so wrong. I only got my car 4 weeks ago and I've already had to buy myself a new car from somewhere else. Gatfan (the owner) is such a crook, don't believe anything he says. When I came in he was telling me how different he was from other dealerships. He told me if I did not like my car within the first 30 days he would give me back my money. He even did the hand motions of tearing up the contract. He also told me that if anything happens to my car he would pay for the impairments 100% the first month and 50% the second month. Of course when he told me this I was east ic to find someone who would do this at only 9% interest rate. Only a week after I bought my car I started hearing noises, I went to him and said "let's go for a drive, tell me what you hear." He told me "it's just a plate over your something or other and it's rusted." He then went to tell me "it's a used car ally, you need to expect it." Yes I realize that but when I just bought the car a week ago...I should not hear anything out of the ordinary. But I just shook my head, smiled and said okay. When I brought my car in for him to fix it he stole from my car. The item was there before I dropped my car off to him and was gone afterwards. I called him and asked if the item fell out. I not once accused him and he started yelling at me. I said sorry for any misunderstanding. Also, when he "fixed" my car, he didn't. The noise was still there. I was driving my car a week, two weeks and the noise would get worse and then I heard rattling, like something was going to break off. That's when I decided to buy myself a new car and to go to gatfan and to get my money back. When I went in he denied that he ever said that and that I was a liar. He asked what the problem was with the car and my friend told him, not rudely at all. He went on to say "little girl I can offend you and make you cry!" My friend is 500 pounds so what was he getting at? Was he trying to point out the obvious? I told him "okay this has gotten out if hand and ill just come back tomorrow" I came back the next day with my mother and he started screaming at me. I got mad after a while and said "ANYWAYS, I did not come here to fight with you. Can I just pay you the money and go home?" He continued to tell at me, tell me I'm disrespectful and repeatedly told me that he is not a crook like he was trying to convince himself of it. It's in the contract that he has to fix my car but he still refuses to. This story is still being written. Don't go to this man.
