He was extremely transparent and showed us the capacitor readings beforehand which it was at 0, confirming it was completely dead. After replacing it, he walked us through everything step by step to make sure it was done correctly. We're very picky about who we let work on our home, and Jesus was professional, patient, and thorough. We've owned multiple homes and dealt with our fair share of tradespeople, and H-Town AC & Plumbing is truly at the top. At least two blower unit rebuilds, a control card, multiple capacitor replacements, and a few pounds of refrigerant every couple years. This year the refill exited far too quickly and I called Heights A/C for a quote. Thomas replaced the old unit and re-worked the ducts for a great result. The house feels better with the new duct work and the system is amazingly quiet.

Thomas then refused to fix the fan motor because they didn't install the AC. Even so, they had done AC work 5 previous times, including the broken fan motor. I had to file a dispute in small claims court, which I won. In court, Thomas said one misstatement of fact after another, but the judge must not have believed him. Be careful dealing with them.

Backstory: We just recently moved into a 20-year-old house in the Houston area and we love the house, but this house has a lot of internal things that still need to be fixed or serviced. Long story short after our service request call last night, the Texas Comfort Systems technicians came out the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problems with our AC unit outside. Apparently, it was the AC capacitor for our downstairs AC unit. After finding the problem, they quoted us a decent price and we felt it was fair and accepted it. On top of this, most people should not be replacing these AC parts themselves, unless they're completed by trained HVAC technicians, like those who work for Texas Comfort Systems. Overall, great service and professionalism! We're back to nice AC indoors. Thank god! The technicians, Stephen and Julio, who came out today were super professional, knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and clearly represented the great customer service of Texas Comfort Systems. My condenser unit was on a small balcony on my 4th floor and the evaporator coil/air blower unit, Furnice were in the attic above the 4th floor.
