I can't compare it with other vets pricewise, but am sure that they are pretty competitive. Our cat was seen there all her life, and when, unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep, it was done with sympathy and empathy. They even sent a little card through with a lovely poem in it - although upsetting, it was really a nice touch. Parking outside can be a little difficult as there are only a few spots, but as it's on an industrial estate, you can normally park easily just along the road.

Elwood and Briggs have been there, not just for our beloved dogs, but for us too, for the past…read moredecade. The care and professionalism that they have shown is second to none. They have seen two of our cherished pets from puppyhood through to that awful last goodbye, and their compassion and support could not be bettered. At one point when we discovered that one of our young Springer Spaniels needed complicated orthopaedic surgery, our fears for the little lad were calmed by realising what incredibly good hands he was in. Everything that Mr Elwood said would happen, did happen, and our boy was given many more years of happy and active life. Even when we moved away for a short time, we still continued to use them and were happy to travel in order for our dogs to keep that wonderful level of care that all the members of the surgery gave them. Wonderful vets! I was very worried about my beloved Westie and also in an emotional state due to…read moresome bad news I had just received by phone in the car park. Mrs Wharmby was lovely, she was very calming to both my dog and myself and as an owner who loves her pet like a child was extremely professional in explaining everything she was doing and why (my last vet was very stern which is why I left) and also allaying my fears after I had googled my dogs symptoms stupidly before going! My dog was treated and given medication and food to take home and within 4 days all symptoms had gone, much to my relief. A very busy vets but I was given an appointment on the same day and was seen within 5 mins of my appointment. Staff were polite and cost was reasonable. Large car park, which is needed as people were also driving in with horse boxes x 10/10
