My beautiful little 8 month old pedigree dog was booked in for a microchip and small hernia repair. When I went to collect her SHE HAD BEEN SPAYED. There was no medical reason that this had been done. The veterinary nurse had hand written on the consent form '+ spay' then when I challenged her she blatantly lied and said that she had discussed the spay at the time of admittance. I have continuously asked what would have prompted her to discuss this as I had never requested this procedure and the Vet admitted this to me. This question has not been answered and the practice are refusing to admit to any error. I am appalled that this kind of thing could happen anyway but for the practice to then not even acknowledge wrongdoing is immoral and cruel. read more

Have been using for over 2 years and service as always been good, staff very polite and helpful, but if you are paying using insurance your bills get really expensive, my dog needed a small op to remove a cyst from between his toes I was quoted £250 - £300 but when I said I would use the insurance bill suddenly went up to £550, I know vets will have to wait longer to get paid from insurance companies but with my company I needed to pay first and claim back from insurance company so I was shocked when bill doubled read more

I have been a client at this practice for over a year and as I have 3 CKCS we took out their pet plan option and have found it very beneficial. I have found both Richard and Jenny to be highly professional,caring and adept at their job. Richard dealt with a leg problem that had flummoxed other vets on one of my boys Bryn,and it is thanks to him that Bryn had one of his best years. Unfortunately Bryn became suddenly ill and it was Jenny who cared for him. She was a great help and tried many avenues which helped in the short term but inevitably Bryn was p.t.s. this week. The kindness and compassion that was shown during this time was exemplary and I cannot thank them and all their lovely staff enough. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice ,and do so regularly to people I meet.
