Nothing is too much trouble, and you aren't even made to feel bad about calling a vet out in the middle of the night! We are cat breeders and it is great to feel that we can have an experienced vet on hand at whatever time without being made to feel guilty. The receptionists are also extremely efficient.

He had to have surgery and stay in for a few days and well, he didn't want to come home! They are well cared for and loved by all the staff there. They use their name to make them feel at home. I was given an initial quote which seems very reasonable although after the surgery they said they had complications which then increased my bill which is understandable. It is quite a busy little pratice but they do make room for you if you call for an appointment. There are emergency consultations too. A great vets and the only one I ever go to now.

Despite the website stating direct claims with insurance companies can be agreed I was told no and payment is required every 24 hours. I challenged the lie we were told by the clinical director and she ignored it. A complaint was raised and I received what appears to be a copy and paste mission statement. Despite being with the vets for 14 years and paying thousands of pounds in bills on time they simply don't care. Money is the one and only focus of this practice and not the pet's immediate care. We have thankfully found a family run practice with the best interests of our pets at heart. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement.

They have seen two of our cherished pets from puppyhood through to that awful last goodbye, and their compassion and support could not be bettered. At one point when we discovered that one of our young Springer Spaniels needed complicated orthopaedic surgery, our fears for the little lad were calmed by realising what incredibly good hands he was in. Everything that Mr Elwood said would happen, did happen, and our boy was given many more years of happy and active life. Even when we moved away for a short time, we still continued to use them and were happy to travel in order for our dogs to keep that wonderful level of care that all the members of the surgery gave them. We had a Fantastic 14 years with JD and when the time came we opted for an individual cremation and a canister with his ashes so when the time was right we could decide as a family what we wanted to do !! When we went to collect JD there was an A4 envelope that contained his four paw prints and a lock of his hair, this blew me away!! Thank you again for the time you took to bring memories I didn't know I even wanted but feeling blessed my boy his home and in his rightful place 2

Finding a vet who is competent in the treatment of small rodents is difficult, and with Haven I couldn't be more happy.

The vet sits right behind a supermarket so access is easy through the supermarket car park. The waiting room is a little small meaning that you have to wait outside if like me your dog does not like sharing a small space with other animals. The only thing I do not like it that the majority of the vets are not English and so sometimes struggle to fully understand what I try to tell them. As with most, the costs are high for the little that they do but we are happy with them.
