There are signs posted around town about a meeting to discuss what I perceive to be improvement s to the park. This would be a great spot to place different amusements for kids such as swings, slides, monkey bars, etc. This is only one of two parks that I know of that are federally compliant. Federal law requires public parks to be able to facilitate complete access to all of these places pinpointing the physically disadvantaged! Just a few amenities for children ( along with some updated rules ) would be nice. A new playground available to all children would bring a lot of much needed business to the Main Street area. Great picnic or family spot too! My small kids had no problem making it through. There are multiple spots to access the trails and two playgrounds, bench swings, picnic tables, park benches all along the trail and restrooms.
