There is a basketball court, baseball field and a playground for kids. Alot of greenery nature spaces. The Honor Tower Observatory deck is unfortunately closed temporarily due to elevator maintenance;it was supposed to open back up at 1 afternoon. From what I know they just opened it up for the public since late last winter. It is made to honor the first responders and initially they were the only ones who can have access to the inside of the tower. Next time am around in SC I will be stopping by. There is no fee for entrance. There is a 30 minute time limit per visit.

The bathrooms up by the parking lot were easily accessible, and the ramp down to the playground was easy. My kids had a great time playing here for as long as I let them, and we enjoyed the brief walk over to some picnic tables. This is a very cute and easy .85 mile trail that goes from the Woodruff leisure center to the…read moremiddle school. Tip: If you are using GPS, then use the Woodruff Leisure Center address which is: 550 Cavins Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388. The start of the trail is right there at the parking lot. The trail is a very easy walk and is all paved. Which would make a nice spot for easy bike rides too. It has been on my list to check out for awhile now, and I finally got out there yesterday. I'm happy I did! It was a nice way to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day! Most of the trail is wooded, with lots of shade. There are plenty of benches along the way too. Would even make a peaceful spot to bring a book and enjoy some nature. I even saw a turtle laying its eggs! They have a new disc golf course too, which I believe is free to use? But don't quote me on that. They also have a little outdoor gym at the start of the trail if you want to get a bit more sweaty. All and all, as little city trails go, it doesn't get nicer than this.
