Hey. What can I say, I love this place. It's walking distance. Drinks are cheap…read more You know what you're gonna get. Just don't be an asshole. Also, they offer Heggie's Pizza. I've gone in, ordered a beer, maybe played some pinball and get one of these to go cause they can slide it in a bag old school style. And sadly, Heggie's, made in a good oven, is probably gonna be better then what you are going to get at some of the places around. Wanna watch a game? Shoot pool? Darts? Pinball? Chill and just hang out? Ted's has it all. Just don't be an asshole.

The Country Lounge is a local dive bar - the kind of place where everyone turns to see who you are…read morewhen you walk in the door. I happened across Country Lounge and I stopped in to see if they had any burgers. I was also curious because it looks like a vintage place that's been around for a long, long time. It's only a block off of 61, clearly visible when you drive by, especially at night when the big vintage neon sign is lit up. So... There are no burgers but plenty of Heggies Pizza if you have the munchies. This is obviously the watering hole for locals. It seems like everyone knows each other. Everyone stared when we walked in. But once we took a chair and started on our drinks, people finally stopped staring. The bartender was nice and on top of her game. The drinks are cheap. I missed Bingo. They were taking it apart when I walked in. They also have pool tables and pull tabs. One thing that was a little weird is there's no music. And it was pretty quiet when I was there. But after I had a few drinks, the quiet atmosphere didn't matter as much. I won't be back. But if I lived close by, I'd probably drop in once in a while. Three stars. -Daddy Maxx Retro

The 5-star reviews describing this place as a cocktail lounge or having met interesting people must be locals having a laugh at those of us who were looking for something unique in WBL. This is not it. It was loud, full of drunk people shouting at each other, and too busy for the single poor bartender trying to keep everyone served. They had a decent bar for mixed drinks but only serve Heggie's pizza for food. They only take cash--unless you're a regular (then they'll take your plastic). So bring cash, get one drink, and then run down the street to somewhere with a better menu and your choice of whiskeys.
