Also, there's a large and small dog park with good sturdy doggie bags with handles. I loved this park so much that Sneakers and I spent hours hiking and relaxing. We covered 4.2 miles. I wanted to share this hidden gem with y'all since I was surprised that Baytown has such a fun park!!

I don't have much to say here…read more It's a park. There aren't many in the area where you can take your grandparents to sit and watch/feed the ducks. They had a good time which makes it worth it. There are benches to sit on, a trail/track/pathway - I don't know what you would call it. I'm pretty sure they have tables, but I don't remember. There are trash cans in case you need to throw stuff away. #dontlitter Also, the best part in my opinion... THERE ARE DUCKS!! Who doesn't love ducks? My grandpa was a little sad that we didn't have bread on hand, but we had sonic tater tots. So he shared a couple, but told my grandma not to be TOO generous with his precious tater tots lol. (That has nothing to do with the park. I just thought it was funny lol.) Anyways, fresh air, benches, shade to sit in, and DUCKS! It's a nice place.

The pier is fairly new and the views are beautiful. Parking is a little bit skeptical at first but I parked in a location where I could easily see if my car was alright. I would go with a friend next time to be safe. I had to keep looking behind me often to make sure there wasn't anyone crazy walking up behind me but maybe that's just the paranoid person that I am. :) Awesome fishing spot. I saw a lot of birds landing in my location during my visit so there's definitely fish here. I saw about three 3 ft long fish swim by me while I was out there. Crabbing is decent. Went around October 2018 so not as big as I'd like. You may need to bring a few traps out there. The small ones hang on longer but the bigger crabs are smarter and swim away as soon as you pull the bait up slowly. Gotta be quick with the net!
