Used to love this place and went out of my way to support them during Covid. The pizza has always been crap, but I loved their sandwiches. This time the meat didn't even cover the length of the bread. The meat and cheese that was there was so thin you could read through it and only a single layer. All I could taste was bread and mayo. My nephew's sandwich was better, but not by much. The quality of the food and staff has been declining over the years as the prices went up, but this was a huge jump. I've had bad experiences at restaurants before and forgiven them, but this time I feel like they reached into my pocket and stole money. Never coming back. read more

The best sandwiches!!! Veggies were so fresh - I've always loved Goody's but I was extremely impressed with the way they have taken it up a notch- times 10!! read more

Worst pizza I've ever had. The taste was ok but the crust was just horribly hard. How can no one from their team figure out about that horrible crust? I don't understand the high stars from others. Maybe their sandwiches are better? I'll never know because I will never go back with my family. read more

My wife and I just moved to town and have been trying a lot of the local cuisine. We ordered garlic cheese bread and two of their pizza bombs. I got to tell you, those bombs blew us away! The dough was perfect, the ingredients tasted fresh, the marinara was on point, and the things were HUGE! From time to time I order calzones hoping they will taste like this and have always been disappointed. No more! Now i know where to go for some great food that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. We will definitely be back to try the pizza and have many more bombs! read more

Goody's - Pizza Near Me - Pocatello, Idaho

Interesting mix of people hang out here! Everyone is always nice though. Bartenders are friendly and welcoming. One pool table and a shuffle board table as well. Pizza is the bomb. Literally! read more

Goody's is the best place to get a deli sandwich or pizza bomb in Pocatello in my opinion. The food is fresh, it's great, and the prices are cheap. Goody's is split in two sections, the rear is a pub that is a great place to catch the game, play pool or shuffleboard. The front is a fresh deli with a pizza/sandwich oven, that has a ton of seating, and a patio with a couple of tables. They have daily specials in the front Deli but they also have a different special in the pub that includes a pint of beer. Its the favorite lunch spot for my wife and I. My favorite menu item is the Spicy Meatball Pizza Bomb. read more

Forgive me Yelp for I have sinned.... It's been 25 years since my last confession. That little thing with the stripper, whip cream and the monkeys, well fortunately no charges were filed and no one was injured. This time It was Thursday and I felt like doing something crazy so I stopped to eat lunch in a town unfamiliar to me without Yelping it. Serious I know but I hope that I can be forgiven... Usually bad choices end bad but this bad choice was good. It was a seriously good sandwich! They're located directly across the street from Idaho State University and were busy but efficient. The Italian had lots of fresh meat and cheese and the vegetables were fresh and generously piled high. The bread was fresh and tasty as well. Similar to most sandwich shops there are a ton of options to build yours to your specifications and there seemed to be something for everyone. I don't plan to make a habit of dining at random places without referencing Yelp, but it was very exciting and everything worked out well. read more

Best sandwich and pizza place in Pocatello hands down. They've also got a very nice beer selection. Pocatello staple! I've never had a bad experience here. read more

First time at Goody's did not disappoint. The deli sandwiches were amazing and decently priced. Will come here again.

Super good! One half is a bar/restaurant and the other half is a sandwich shop. Good prices, fun vibes!

Let me see. Good food. Good prices. A bar in the back. Perfect! I regularly make Goody's a stop on a long drive to Montana for all of the above. If you're in a rush don't get anything cooked because it will take a long time. Ordered a meatball sub once and sat for 25 minutes. It's right across form the university but doesn't seem too crowded. This worries me a bit but so far it's been great every time. read more

Okay, so we are hungry as ca be but don't really want to shell out a ton of money for dinner, I get on Yelp and discover we are not to far from Goody's.... Sounds good, let's try. Okay, the place is not a five star restaurant... We are not looking to eat one today anyways.... But the smells are oh so yummy! So we look over the menus and decide on bombers... Basically a HUGE calzone. Well it did take like 30 min, but they did warn us it would be that long. The wait was worth it, it was so devine! For three people it was $20 plus tip! And there was plenty of leftovers. The Devore leaves something to desire... But they make up for itin taste! read more

We've been going to Goody's for over 20 years. Love their food, but lately the food has been horrible. Just threw away a pizza bomb, no sauce and the bread was like cardboard.they need to hire employees that care about the quality of food they are putting out. read more

Went for salad, sandwiches & pizza & all were great! Similar to subway for pickings but huge difference compared to selection, specials & taste. Always love to support local communities & eateries. Special deals daily, my sandwich with combo was 3.99 + 2.99 for added drink & sandwich. Enough seating for kiddos & adults. Friendly & efficient staff. read more

I don't really like their sandwiches, they're pretty standard, but they're preferable to anything else that's close by. Their pizza bombs though, are pretty much the greatest. The crust is buttery and full of flavor, and the toppings are just fantastic. Their pizza bombs are everything a calzone should have been, with rich marinara and whatever toppings you'd want, and for just five bucks each they're basically two meals in one! read more

Best deal in Pocatello for Monday Pizza Bombs. You CANNOT beat $4.99 for a calzone (pizza bomb) as big as your plate. They also have great sandwiches and are the home of the "Hefty" a 24 oz glass of beer. They serve beer and wine only but usually have have a couple types of botta-boxed wine and maybe a dozen taps for brew. Fun place but gets a little packed with college kids at times. Good place to watch sports. read more

Had lunch here on St. Patrick's day. I loved the beer specials, drink specials, pizza, sandwiches (both were ordered and at the table), and overall menu. March madness was all over each TV and the bartender did a nice job taking care of a busy place. Only downside is that the interior is a bit dilapidated and the tables were tired. For those that like pizza pubs, I highly recommend. read more

The best sub sandwiches in Pocatello. Amazing daily deals on specialty sandwiches. You can't go wrong here for lunch!

Unimpressed with their service. We ordered a 7 sandwich order for our group. We take time off work for someone to pick it up they triple confirm everything is there it gets back to us and it's missing a sandwich. We call to see if they have it and if they can deliver it and the person I talked to did not care and was just like well I can refund it and hung up. So the pregnant lady didn't get her food and was very upset because they were rude read more

Normally a pizza bomb would be appropriate on a Monday night. As it has been for the last 25 years. But tonight Monday the 4th 2016 had to been the worst food I have ever had in my life. I have been afflicted with the worst flagellation that money can buy. The ingredients of my pizza bomb we're just short of sandwich meat and canned mushrooms. I'll give them ample credit for their sandwiches. But I will never ever eat a half cooked pizza or gut bomb again. A real second-rate diet. And definitely overrated! read more

Probably the best sandwich place in Pocatello, very affordable. Pub is very decent and I like the music they play there , could have added few more sorts of beer , but their sandwiches are great and fresh. If for some reason I became omnipotent the only thing I would improve is the location(closer to the center of Poky). Otherwise would always recommend. read more

Shayla behind the bar is your best case scenario at game time! Anytime sports are playing the atmosphere is live. Whether you're an avid drinker or a sober soul Goody's is the place to be in Pocatello. If you're looking for a bite to eat, their pizza bombs never disappoint and their sandwiches are the best bang for your buck in town. read more

I had been happy with previous orders from Goody's. Sadly I ordered an Italian Delight salad tonight. The description of this salad on their sight includes three types of meat. Not one meat type was present in the salad. When I called to tell the employee (rude male) about the blunder, their was not a trace of apology from him. His response was "mistakes happen". This guy just flunked customer service 101. I hope he fares better in college. Pretty sad. read more

Awesome place! Everyone there is super friendly! Great conversations. My favorite pub in town hands down!

I love goodys. I've been going there for over a decade. So cheap. Beer and their special for about 10 bucks. But the quality still stands. It's not fast food unless you sit in line to make a sub. I go to the bar. No smoking, you can play pool and watch sports and the other customers always love to chat when you come by yourself. It was my go to lunch joint in college read more

Yummy sandwiches. Fresh bread, fresh sliced cheese and meat. Wanted a pizza bomb, but couldn't wait 30 minutes. Does it really take that long? Awesome food and great price as well. read more

I go to ISU and come here just about everyday I ALWAYS get the club, but wanted to switch it up one day so I asked the waitress and for a recommendation she told me to get the pizza bomb and let me tell u... IT WAS DANKAPOTOMAUS I swear you could get anything on the menu and you'd love it. read more

Fantastic staff and great pizza and sandwhiches! Ive eaten here easily 25-30 times and have not been dissappointed at all.

Today was the first time I'd been here since becoming allergic to eggs. I used to love this place years ago but I went in there today and I asked the young kid making sandwiches if there was egg in the bread and he literally threw the bread package on the counter and hastily said "I dont know". I just walked out of there. I'm not going there ever again. Such a sad thing to happen to a place that used to be amazing. read more

Known for its decent food and fair prices, this place can be a great place to eat...BUT if you are planning on getting a pizza bomb, hot baked sandwich, etc plan on an extra 20 min ON top of the 30 to 40 min they tell you. If you voice any frustration at this, expect to have them offer to "cancel" your order and when you do finally get your food for your change to be tossed into your hand. Good food but crappy customer service. read more

I love me some goody's! The veggie salad is huge and a great price. The garlic cheese bread is some of the best I have had. They have an ok beer selection (I always get the same thing, so I am not too sure about this). Lots of seating. You order at the counter (pizza in one place, sandwiches, etc at the other). Stop in the Persian grocers while you are waiting and grab some baklava. read more

I really enjoy this place. It is just the right combination of laid back and delicious. I will say that it does not have quite the same heartiness that Subway has, but the small town feel makes the first choice for subs. The bar in the back makes it a perfect college student hang out in the perfect location, just across the street from campus. Though it is not fantastic in the realm of food quality (though it is good) the vibe and the atmosphere is worth the trip! read more

Any student of Idaho State University knows Goody's. Great sandwiches, possibly a little un-sanitary, but they are very convenient and well priced. The lunch specials (can you say Pizza-Bomb) are great deals. Not by any means a gourmet meal or the best sandwich I have ever had, but this is a great place to get lunch or grub in the middle of studying. read more

This place is pretty standard. You get what you pay for. A sub on the daily special ends up being 4 bucks and you can load it up with some decent veggies. I would definitely go back. read more

Pizza bombs are the best!! They are similar to calzones, but so much better!!! While ordering on one visit, I was talking to my husband about how I only wanted a little marinara sauce as I am not a big fan of the red sauce, and the employee suggested I could have the Alfredo sauce instead. I didn't even know they had Alfredo. Now I love the pizza bombs even more!! read more

Monday Pizza Bombs! Enough said! It's all I've ever had besides their pizza. Cheap, good food! Sometimes they have some tasty microbrew too!

I wish there was a place like this where I work in Los Alamos. Low-price, fresh made sandwiches. Friendly staff. There doesn't need to be anything more complicated than that for a quick lunch. read more

Love their sandwiches. They have a deal of the day available for under $4. Have tried their Pizza bombs and were not impressed. We're going to stick to their sandwiches. The whole family likes those. read more
