Used to love this place and went out of my way to support them during Covid. The pizza has always been crap, but I loved their sandwiches. This time the meat didn't even cover the length of the bread. The meat and cheese that was there was so thin you could read through it and only a single layer. All I could taste was bread and mayo. My nephew's sandwich was better, but not by much. The quality of the food and staff has been declining over the years as the prices went up, but this was a huge jump. My wife and I just moved to town and have been trying a lot of the local cuisine. We ordered garlic cheese bread and two of their pizza bombs. I got to tell you, those bombs blew us away! The dough was perfect, the ingredients tasted fresh, the marinara was on point, and the things were HUGE! Goody's is the best place to get a deli sandwich or pizza bomb in Pocatello in my opinion. The food is fresh, it's great, and the prices are cheap. Goody's is split in two sections, the rear is a pub that is a great place to catch the game, play pool or shuffleboard. The front is a fresh deli with a pizza/sandwich oven, that has a ton of seating, and a patio with a couple of tables. They have daily specials in the front Deli but they also have a different special in the pub that includes a pint of beer. Its the favorite lunch spot for my wife and I. My favorite menu item is the Spicy Meatball Pizza Bomb. read more

The Italian had lots of fresh meat and cheese and the vegetables were fresh and generously piled high. The bread was fresh and tasty as well. Similar to most sandwich shops there are a ton of options to build yours to your specifications and there seemed to be something for everyone.
